Please make a rom which directly flashable with lollipop rom....currently i have a stock lollipop rom and whenever i was tried to upgrade to marshmallow...odin cant detect my phone....tried many way to overcome from this problem...but cant make it possible.....dont know why..even this is not my first time....

Im reading through the info and im stuck trying to figure out what my options are! What i want is a rooted slim rom that i can install xposed on. Any pointers?
Right now im running stock 4.4.2 rooted but it has so much crap installed. Anything else would be better..

Hello i have made an kernel with tweakt default.prop that someone might have use fore?!

Not sure yet but seems the boot is alot faster, and it solved some issues with unable to delete some files on the sd and also some rom files like preinstalled apks and so on
Adb might work now also have not tested... contact me if interested and don't try to edit the default.prop from the phone! It will soft brick and yes its an cwm flashable
How to insall arter97-recovery-i9506-6.59.0.zip?
I've been browsing and searching for the past hour without an answer. I just bought the GT-I9506 and it came installed/updated automatically to android 5.0.1 build DOC5. I can't flash any custom recoveries with Odin, it seemingly succeeds with the flash and comes up with a green PASS, but I'm still left with the stock recovery. I'm thinking the bootloader must be locked, if so, how do I unlock it? How can I root this damn thing?? I would like to install CM12 but it seems impossible right now. Please help.

I really hope that developers find time for this project. I am sorry I cannot help you with creating ROMs but I will surely try out and bug test these whenever they come out
Dual SIM capability is a big improvement in 5.1 so hope that someone would make a build with 5.1 stock or cm12.1 (if thats what they call it)
I think @mukulsoni will provide Cyanogenmod Update on this

I also own this device, and unfortunately there is very limited support in the custom Rom department. If there was to be a lollipop Rom, someone would either have to port one somehow, or build it from source. Given the development rate for this device, I don't predict it happening anytime soon, sorry to say.

i have been trying since february the answer i got from my carier was samsung is contracted not to support this device thats why that is so hard to find samsung told me to take the device to bestbuy to force update if they could probably irrelavent but maby it helps

Yup! This seems to be the future for the SM-S820L, or lack of future I should say.
I too have the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime SM-S820L. I have spent lots of hours scouring the internet looking through every android related forum in hopes of eventually finding someone that is undertaking much needed programming to build a custom ROM for this CorePrime version.
If you are looking for a custom recovery to use. I can point you to my and others posts over at Needrom. The best I can offer is an unofficial TWRP release, but it DOES work! It does for myself at least and I am no Android Guru whatsoever.
I guess I am not allowed to post Links in any of my posts yet because I am still a NOOB on these forums. I'll PM you with some direction my friend!
I cannot take credit for coming up with any of that software. I simply rooted around long enough to compile a collection of tools and files that worked for me to modify the Recovery of my SM-S820L.

If you have programming skills you should help Thargorsson first to make camera work in Nougat and you can learn a lot of him, I think.
( Add cam and BT seems to be always difficult)

No way man, using this guide for making your rom is only a waste of time.
For make it booting you need to make hard work, you don t need it if you start the build from source
You have to do a Lineage 15 bringup for S3 Neo and afaik, device bring ups are extremely hard.
I tried device bringup with CM10.1 on Xperia J back in the day but failed.
I tried porting Oreo from Moto G but as every falcon ROM, its stuck on bootlogo.

Ok let's try till we fix the nougat ROM we if someone can come over and make a Oreo ROM then it will be a great thing

Are u hoping for Oreo? Lp is already bugged, how you want to make oreo? And also aosp based rom does no boot. How you guys are hoping for oreo?
No it's not a hope I just suggesting that if he is capable of porting a oreo ROM then he can put his efforts

I tried installing android Oreo on my Ze552kl, but the installation was not finalized successfully.
So I decided it would be smarter to install the rom along with a Recovery and do a Root Direct.
Does anyone have a Tutorial, or any indication of Rom with less bugs in Oreo?
