i have install to my HTC-HD2 the Rom from "pdaimatejam" , and works great. I installed Wathsup, and at activating requires the old phone number with which it has been activated, but it never activated on this phone.
Can anyone help out with this trouble . Thax.

I just upgraded to your special edition 1.1 rom !!... it is flippin amazing. I have only had my xda for a few days, so i cant comment on what crap was there before, i can say the programs you have provided are excellent!. Like dos shell and file commander !!
i even managed to put my orange sim in there, and it works perfectly !!!
so much for paying £34.99 to get it unlocked !.
The only prob(little) .. is that when i start the device, it says to me "you need to config the sim card"... but i cant select UK orange ?
is this normal ?, can i download the config or something?

we don't have a uk-orange connection profile yet. but have started this project to get more gprs profiles.

The rom that it came with was the 3.17.03.. i think :-\ ... sorry i did not take back up of it.
How do you do that?. is it a special program?
also ... if i wanted to put my xda back in the same state as when i bought it ... can i do that ?
ie, get the tom from o2 or sommat, and then apply that ?

i have ipaq hp 6915 with english UK OS (recently i had to change the mother borad and let a comapny do the software upgrade for me)...now i'm in egypt and something weird happened...my phone able to scan the networks and detect the mobile operator manually and i can recieve SMS messages...but the phone functionality is not OK ...when i try to call the phone i got nothing and i can;t make calls too...beside i can't open the link contact and calendar in the device...
so anyone help me and tell me...what would be wrong in that...and are these are 2 problems or linked to the same root cause?

well..
i went for a risk...that it might be the os itself so i managed to update my device into orange french update and it was fine and safe and great...the gsm is fixed and device become ok..but the problem now is how to get it back to english????
at this moment ...i download some file from rapid share it might be the CEOS uk 1.21 UK but how to verify it's the desired file?...and how to flash it to my device?...and is it possible to flash only the CEOS with radioOS i mean the device keep the Orange RadioOS and only language change??...would that make any problem???....

i recived my HTC P3600 Trinity about a week ago and having trouble installing hebrew ever since.
At first i have installed the Paragon Hebrew Software which worked fine but made problems with the dialer and the phone at any rom that iv installed.
when i say problems i mean that i couldnt recive Phone Calls or Dial at all and in some roms even after soft reset i was having the same trouble (The ROM im using now).
The other option was the Eyron software but it cant be cracked ( not that i know of).
now i have cooked ROM 3.00.07 PDAVIET working on my HTC Which installed Partially the eyron software. i can see hebrew but it from Right to left, and as for the keyboard- i cant write in hebrew (I have Gibrish Instead).
Please help me to solve the problem

My problem its goin me crazy..
Cause I have a Diamond, works perfect, and my friends have a ELf, and told me she having some problems with the phone cause, when she turn it on works perfect but dont receving any calls or something like this.
Just the cellphone works perfect but she cant make and receving calls or msg anyway...
I know the cellphone its original, so I think i gonna update de signed RUU .. and I think gonna be better, so I make this.. update perfectly and now Im using a ROM : [05 Dec 2009] [ROM] WM 6.5 21876 + M2D 2.0 + Default WM 6.5 CHome
So the new ROM found my OPERATOR NETWORK, install and tell me to restar the phone, I make this so when turn it on again, my network can't be found... the signal, always try to find and nothing...
In older version appear a msg: "We have problem to connect to your network Wanna found a new one? If not try to update your system"
Something like this, just found crazy operators, cause im from Brazil and only if find a operator, its TIM / OI / VIVO / CLARO
no exist any others.. just this .. and I try with TIM chip and OI chip (chip = SID)
And apper the same error now on New version using new rom?!
Somebody knows how i fix that? Just need connect to local network of my operator ?!?! all the rest from cellphone works perfect..

Hello, sorry for my bad English...I'm Italian boy...I have received Samsung edge 7 demo unit...and so by the first I've unlock this demo version and I've removed demo limitations....and so I've succesfully installed rom G935FXXU1BPJG ...all it's work but it's not possible to use like a phone (only like a tablet) ...and so my question is it's possibel tu use like a phone far call and so on...? Pheraphs that is missing only modem? If I install modem driver and so on ...then I can use like a normal phone ? In your forum but for model S7 vers. G930F(mine is edge 7 g935F) I've see that there are files for bootloader and modem...can I try to install these files??
I put the sim in the phone and the phone seems to recognize it, recognizes contacts in it etc ... but does not detect the mobile network

Maybe it is your apn. I'm sorry I don't know much about demos. If you know someone on your service provider you could check what their apn is and try it on your phone.
i suggest you talk to your provider, the phone maybe registered as a demo unit with the seller with limited access.
If so, ask thm to remove the restrictions.
Sorry to burst your bubble but you say it's a demo unit. If that is so then it will be signified in the model number with an X on the end for example the s7 edge demo unit would have model number G935X. Also these demo units do not have the modem hardware on the main board so flashing to standard firmware will not allow you to make calls. There is no way around this unless you either change the main board or simply buy a fully functioning version.
