hey guys i was wondering if there was a metro pcs rom for the samsung fascinate? i know there one for the evo and other phone out there... i recently got my fanciante flased to metro and it is also rooted so i was lookin for a metro based rom to take off all the verizon bloatware.
Nope...not yet, but a good idea...I'll get started on that, but until then, use Titanium Backup and kill what you can....JUST BE CAREFUL!!!!
Hey guys... it's been a while since I've been on XDA.. I can't say I'm much of a developer anymore so bear with me as I work 2 jobs and don't have a computer anymore to do ultra fast searching..
So I'm looking to root my VZW LG G2 on 4.4.2 but I'm running tmobile.. I'm not looking to run AOSP, if I was I'd already know the answer to these questions... I'm looking to flash a G3 port, any reccomendations? And on these stock roms what do I have to do to get my baseband working for tmobile? I read that optimusg3 would work on the vzw variant with the vzw baseband flashed, but is that necessary with me using tmobile? Would it be better to just flash a tmobile baseband? I'm not used to these multi-carrier phones... BACK IN MY DAY SONNY WE HAD DIFFERENT MODELS FOR DIFFERENT CARRIERS LOL.
Final annoyance if someone wouldn't mind making my life easier and provide a link for a tutorial of rooting with kit Kat that way when I'm in front of a computer I'll be able to get right to work without going search crazy..

It has been a while since I have been on XDA and I am back in the saddle with a Sprint GS5.
Technically, I am going to purchase my GS5 today or tomorrow and I am interested in getting rid of the all the Bloat on the phone (Samsung stuff, etc). A few questions I have are as follows:
Using the Link below, I will be unlocking and rooting the phone, it appears to be pretty self explanatory, is this the best option to use?
Just in case, is there a default or stock Samsung Sprint ROM I can restore? For example, there were default roms your could restore on your phone to take back to the store for warranty work?
Are there any barebones Kit Kat 4.4.X roms that can be run on the GS5? I am coming off a MotoX which I loved the stock KitKat ROM
I see there are a few different recoveries to use, does one work better than the other? Easier to use?

Okay so I have a G935A (AT&T s7 edge) on 7.0 QC2 and since our bootloaders are locked we get kind of left out of the loop when it comes to custom ROMs etc. I was wondering if someone could make a ROM on 7.0 that is friendly with my device that I could flash using flash fire? I know there is ECHOED ROM but that is on marshmallow and I need a nougat one with like adaway and all the basic stuff you know. Hopefully with wifi calling still working too as I use that a lot. If you could help me find the right developer to talk to or get him to check the post out that would be helpful. Thanks.

You could sell your 935A and buy a 935F, root it, use Tkkg1994's CSC selection tool to put AT&T volte/wifi calling on an international model (which is faster with better battery liferunning a S7 nougat rom in under an hour.
Im only posting this here because im a new and it won't let me post to the s7 edge forums. I'm not a pro like many people on this site but I'm feeling like a real idiot right now. I recently got a sprint s7 edge (sm-g930p) and I was trying to flash it to 935u because I use Mint mobile and it runs on the tmobile network. I downloaded the files from another users post about doing it, plugged them into Odin, tried to flash it, but it almost instantly said fail and now my phone just keeps restarting. As far as I am aware, the s7 has current updates and I just don't know what to do. I could care less at this point if I flashed it back to the original sprint version but I'm not sure what is possible by this point and I'm hoping someone here can help me.
