CyanogenMod 13 for MT6582
CyanogenMod 13 for MT6582 is an aftermarket ROM based on Android Marshmallow. The ROM is super stable and super smooth. It can be used as a daily driver without any issues. I believe we all know about CM 13 for MT6582 and I don't need to tell you about it. This ROM was compiled by Ajit Guraya(ME) from source for MT6582. GPS, USSD, Calls, Camera, Video Recording, SMS, Bluetooth and other needed features are working in this ROM and it can be used as a daily driver.

What do you mean? 2G or E is only showing up? If that's the case then yes, 3G and 2G network is working here as fine as sugar.

I meant, can I toggle to 2g only mod... ? Can I choose 2g only as preferred network...?

In my region sometimes 3g network is bad.... So I have to switch to 2g only mode, else my battery gets drain.... All cm13 based ROMs till now,does not allow to choose gsm only mod ... So am waiting for that very update.... Everything else is fine for me..... So I want to know, if this very update has cleared that or not..?

On Settings>Sim cards>select either sim 1 or sim 2. Then choose 2G from Preferred network type mode and also choose preferred APN. After that, switch to Airplane mode for about 30-60 seconds and turn it off until you have a signal. Then try to open your data connection and see if it works.

No, it's not compatible with those devices you mentioned. Although same SoC but has different internal parts and others.

when cyanogenmod team done large changes when going from CM12.1 to CM13.0 , Then came some bugs with CM13.0.
This bug(2G BUG) is also a #Known BUG of CM13.0. Which has not yet resolved
you can find this bug in almost(or) all Custom Rom based on CM13.0.
so,if you have not proper network of 3G(also Battery consuming),
then , either, you can wait for this bug resolved
or
i suggest you, to go lolipop based custom rom or find any ported marshmallow rom of stock marshmallow rom of clone devices..:laugh:

Can confirm GPS working. Unfirtunatly the sound is crackeling as in some other cm versions. Everything else (exept link2sd which is not working) seems to be fine after 2 days of using.

I can give you early alpha build of lollipop, but have much bugs: wi-fi not working, both cameras not working(need check ramdisk, because kernel drivers and hal modules builded without error), sensors not working(our drivers doesn't build in 3.10 kernel environment), sdcard not working(i don't know why).

How to
instruction to flash CM12.1:
1. You must be on WIKO (any) base. HERE tutorial thanks to @smokerman
2. Flash PhilZ Touch Recovery 6.59.0 from HERE. (IF YOU GET INSTALL ERROR, FLASH RECOVERY FROM THIS THREAD)
3.If you are already in a previous version, skip to step 5.
4. Boot into recovery and choose clean to install a new ROM.
5. Now select Install zip and browse to the location where you have cm-12.1-*-UNOFFICIAL-rainbow.zip and install it (Don't flash gapps).
6. Reboot/Boot up the device.
7. Reboot to recovery and flash GAPPS.
6. Reboot and enjoy!

Micromax a106 ( which is same as a120 except a106 has 5mp camera ) got official lollipop update any chance of porting that to a120
Since I want to taste aosp lollipop also

Can you provide us the flashable fix in camera? The one that I flashed has 0 in internal storage. Appreciate your great work by providing us this very smooth and bugless custom rom.

Do not use other fix like camera fix, it is miui 7.2 stable , flashing other fixes like (bootimg) part will cause some bugs .

ROM[MT6582] CandySiX-3.1-Rainbow-UNOFFICIAL (GPS FIX) for Micromax A120, Wiko Rainbow

CandySix for MT6582 is an aftermarket ROM based on AOSP Android Marshmallow. This ROM is based on Google AOSP codes but uses CM Theme Engine as it's means to customize the ROM. Amazing ROM with amazing features and animations. Definitely must use this ROM if you want performance of AOSP but themeing capabilities of CyanogenMod. This ROM was compiled by Ajit Guraya from source for MT6582 and ported by @leandro-brandao96

USSD, Calls, Camera, Video Recording, SMS, Bluetooth and other needed features are working in this ROM and it can be used as a daily driver.

Make sure you have a custom recovery installed. (Philz is the preferred recovery)
Download CandySiX ROM & the latest GApps package.

For others : Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache

Well im using it for 3 days now. And i think RR 5.7.0 is better. Didnt try 5.7.3

If customization is your thing, then go for RR 5.7.3, but if you want better performance with the bare minimum of customizations, CandySiX is the option. To be honest, I have a RR backup ready but I just can't bring myself to flash it. This one feels much better because, no lag, no freezing issues etc.

Well for me there is lags and freezing.sometime it reboots alone like in candysix 2.1.clash of clans freezes alot in it while RR its really smooth for me. I will try 5.7.3 next. But thanks for the work on this rom.

Well, not much of a android gamer myself, so don't know about the games crashing but I do use heavy apps.

It's may be helpful for you:
goto Setting> Developer Options then check "Force 4x MSAA" .
Then play Games.

from rr.5.7.1 i flash rr.5.7.3 I like the ver .3 coz it has an control in performance and it already rooted my battery life almost half day. btw my phone is agua rio v2 .. but the only thing i noticed it has an lack of sim card function and fm radio. i think it is nice to have this one. and one thing the default storage shifted auto to sd card. more or less i have no problem with the rom .. maybe i try this rom for some other time. but for now I will use rr. rom the version .5.7.3 . for daily usage .

This isn't a stock ROM, so it can't be flashed by flash tools. What method doesn't work for you? Which phone do you have?

after I wipe/system and dalvik cache, I tried to install the zip using twrp but my phone crashes and doesn't boot. I am using a MyPhone Rio V2

You need to flash Wiko v13 firmware(Search xda) first using SP flash tools, then flash Philz recovery(check downloads section) and then flash this ROM as instructed.

Hello there! I do own a Swipe Konnect Pro [MT6582]
I' m a very experienced porter. And i ve flashed more than 120+ custom roms on my SKP [without any single bug], and almost many roms on various devices incl. MT6582, MT6572 and others. And even on crappy crapdragon chipsets.
Anyways, the bugs i always get while flashing a CM13 roms are
1. WiFi doesn't turn on!
2. BT doesn't turn on!
3. WiFi mac address shows dummy 02:00:00:00:00:00:00

Proximity not working for MMX A120
hey there,
I have flashed this ROM, First of all what a magnificent ROM truly bug-less, just a little thing that the proximity is not working even I checked through CPU-Z no change in values when you close the sensor and again remove your hand.

This ROM use only 3G signal, so make sure you have proper 3G network covrage..

no mobile network
i installed the rom but there is no mobile network. help

Internal storage is not emulated in this ROM, it's only for app installation only, you can't use it as a data storage, hence, not showing in any file manager.
