Hey guys, we all know that the navigation keys of the Xperia XA Ultra don't change in accordance with xperia themes.
Thankfully there is an easy solution available (you need recovery to install the xposed framework).
Steps:
1. Install Xposed.
2. Install Super User Mode X by Serajr from here, it will disable signature comparison for any custom signed apk.
3. Open Xposed Installer and activate Super User Mode X module.
4. Restart your mobile.
Note:
Themes compiled with 6.0 sdk will show stock navigation keys in home and menu screens.
Sorry for the silly question but, does this mean only rooted phones have access to this?
I've tried several old themes and most of them keep the stock keys, but a small number do change them. I wonder why that is.

Yes you must have unlocked bootloader and TWRP recovery installed as well as rooted phone to do this.
I just use substratum + navigation theme tho.
your lucky cause nougat XZ and XAU are not substratum friendly
hi thanks..
is it work on N?
how do you change native navbar theme on the N? the original navbar is too big & pretty annoying

I was basically looking for a transparent navigation bar. Does your process allow me to do so ?
I use another app that is frowned upon on xda, that does this automatically. But yes superuser mod is a must for substratum. No signature verification allows the overlay

I have a 16GB Gionee E7 on latest stock firmware. Rooted it through Geohot's Towel Root.
Installed the Xposed Framework Installer. Am unable to install the Framework properly.
It only works when I go to Settings> Experimental> and select "Disable Resource Hooks". On doing this it installs and allows me to run certain modules like Double Tap to Lock, remapping Options key as Multitasking Key etc.
However I am unable to run the best module of Xposed, ie: Gravity Box since that requires Resource Hooks.
Something about Amigo UI seems to be stopping it from installing properly.
Possible Solution: Build.prop edit.
I found a thread for making Xposed work on Huawei's emotion UI through a build prop edit.(http://www.modaco.com/topic/372595-how-to-use-xposed-framework-26-on-huawei-roms/)
Do share your experience with Xposed on the E7

I HAVE BY NO MEANS CONTRIBUTED TO Xposed FRAMEWORK (BY rovo89), OR HAVE DEVELOPED ANY MODULES OF MY OWN. THIS IS JUST A NOOB FRIENDLY GUIDE FOR THOSE WHO ARE THINKING , NOW I HAVE ROOTED MY PHONE WHAT TO DO FIRST?.

For this guide you will need,
1. Rooted Moto E[Any version]
2. Xposed Framework[updated]
3. Xposed Modules
4. Brain[4 sure]
About Xposed Framework:
If you are not a great fan of custom ROM's, but despite of it you want all the functionality of those ROMs,this is where Xposed Framework comes into roll. By installing Xposed Frameworks you can have access to all the Xposed modules present in the Xposed repositories.
Xposed Modules
Things You Can Do:
You can have all administrative access for customization of your MOTO E. You can change status bar, mute ringer by flipping phone, change navbar icons and settings, and all phone and media tweaks with access to system tools, and you can even have your boot animation set by the process.
There goes the list. Follow.
INSTALLATION
Firstly download Xposed Frameworks from the given link below and have it installed on your rooted MOTO E device.
DOWNLOAD LINK : Click Here . By rovo89.
View attachment 2908044
After successful installation of the Framework just go to Xposed Modules,
>Click Framework.
>Install/Update
>Reboot/Soft Reboot
I dont prefer rebooting at this particular point.
View attachment 2908061
Here, you can see i have already installed, and after first reboot you will have all the active values as green.
After that go to Downloads and here you have all the access to all the modules. You can always create a backup before trying any of these modules.
MODULE YOU SHOULD TRY FOR SURE
1.Gravity Box for KK in MOTO E case.
Gravity Box is the package of all the singleton modules that you can find in downloads.
2. Xblast tools for Android above 4.0.3.
Same as Gravity with advanced tweaks. For starters i will suggest Gravity Box.
Thanks to @Hetalk for creating the post mentioning the working Xposed Modules.Follow .

Tested by the rest of the xda:
(found here: http://www.xda-developers.com/xposed-modules-to-install-right-now-on-lollipop )
App Settings [Lollipop Alternative by rovo89] [1]:
This was by far one of my favorite Xposed modules back when I wasn’t running Lollipop, and certainly the one I missed the most. With this baby you can change DPI per app (which allows you to keep whatever DPI you want on the rest of the SystemUI), as well as the application’s font scale, immersive mode, RAM pinning, and insistent notifications for those that don’t want to miss their valentine’s texts (and lose their heads over it).
Xposed GEL Settings [1][2]:
For those fans of the “pure Google experience”, this module can let you further customize your Google Launcher by letting you hide the search bar or individual applications, change grid, icon and text sizes, remove labels and more. It doesn’t make it quite as flexible as Nova, but it’s definitely a good module to have for those that love the Google integration of their launcher, and the cleanness and optimization of it.
RootCloak [1]:
Some apps detect root and either prevent access or limit your features as a preemptive method for security. While it is understandable some might want to further fortify their application, us XDA tinkerers can be left out of services due to this. This module hides root for the apps you choose, simple as that. We can’t specifically tell you what to use this module for, but if you’ve had problems like this before, look no further.
Advanced Power Menu+ [1]: This module lets you customize the power menu of your phone to add or remove items in any order you want. There are extra reboot options (soft boot, recovery boot, bootloader), a screenshot option, a quick-dial to call whoever, some connection toggles and a handy flashlight. I always have advanced power menus on my phones, and an Xposed module alternative is much easier than flashing additional zip’s. If this doesn’t work for you, the new Lollipop Power Menu module might.
XToast [1]:
This was one of my favorites back then, as it lets you add the Toast notification’s app origin into the message box by adding the corresponding app’s icon. That in itself makes it useful, but you can also customize said icon and add the name, or change the toast style back to older versions. The duration, transparency and where it appears also can be chosen. Basically, toasts are at your control to make them more informative and personal. You won’t know how awesome it is until you try it!
Lollipop Notification Ticker [1]:
This one was meant to restore the ticker on the status bar that informed you of the contents of your latest notifications. It was made before Xposed for Lollipop came out, which was a daring move that worked… partially. According to reports, it breaks heads-up notifications alongside fixing the ticker. If you dislike those in the first place, though, you might want to give it a try.
Native Clip board [1]:
Copying and pasting on smartphones was never the most fluid thing, nor the most consistent. This module adds clip-board management straight to the text-selection menu, and it allows you to theme the new menu, black-list apps and further customize it. If you happen to be working on your phone because there’s a document you might need to edit on the bus, this will prove useful.
BootManager :
A must-have to those that want their device to be slim and efficient on boot. This module allows you to select which applications run when you power up your device, and those that don’t get allowed to do so usually stay dormant until you fire them up. If you’ve got a good amount of things that you don’t need right away but are hesitant to greenify, this can alleviate the dilemma of your user experience.

I followed all steps correctly. I have a Moto E XT1022 running Android 5.0.2. I first installed apk and then went to twrp to falsh the zip file. It flashed without any problem. Then I wiped the Cache and Dalvik-Cache. Then I rebooted my phone to system but it didn't. It was stuck at the bootloader unlocked warning. I am able to go to bootloader and to the recovery but I am unable to boot into the system. Please help.

Guide to install Xposed Installer[even CM 12.1],. list of working &non working module
hi guys,..lets install xposed installer...btw we got official support for 5.0.x and 5.1.x...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
WARNING: after installation dont try every modules for now..try one by one and keep stock img incase of bootloop..[although there is option for uninstalling xposed installer through adb] and I'm not responsible for bricked phone, try on your own risk
Before installing, sdk21 is for android 5.0.x and sdk22 is for Android 5.1.x (cm12.1) please remember this
Steps:
First You need Root- see here
then after obtaining root ,install busybox from here . After installation, open app and click install..
Now there are 2 methods.. 1] twrp flashing and 2]using ADB ...can use any ,choose which is easy for you
TWRP method
[Note: just download whatever version is available in the link below, just make sure it is has x86 and sort off like the files which i am mentioned below]
Go here get XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk, xposed-v78-sdk21-x86.zip,xposed-uninstaller-x86.zip, [these three enough for us]
place the xposed-v78-sdk21-x86.zip,xposed-uninstaller-x86.zip,XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk in SD...
install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk as normal apk
goto twrp, then flash xposed-v78-sdk21-x86.zip,reboot thats all..it will wipe cache,so ur apps will optimized
if u had bootloop due to xposed at some point..use twrp and flash xposed-uninstaller-x86.zip thats all..
ADB method
download the zip from here
extract the zip anyhere and connect the switched ON zenfone 2 with USB ( usb debugging must be on)
launch InstallXposedFramework.bat ,wait till framework installation is finished (phone cache will be wiped and will reboot)
Launch InstallXposedInstaller.bat to install xposed apk. and thats it.
after installing ur xposed will look like this PIC and this PIC or see the attachment for more pics on verifications
if u had bootloop due to xposed at some point..plug the phone while bootloop,..use RemoveXposedFramework.bat from that folder..thats all
TWRP method For CM12.1 [NO MORE RANDOM BOOTLOOP]
[Note: just download whatever version is available in the link below, just make sure it is has x86 and sort off like the files which i am mentioned below]
Go here get xposed-v78-sdk22-x86.zip, xposed-uninstaller-x86.zip, XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk,
place the xposed-v78-sdk22-x86.zip,xposed-uninstaller-x86.zip,XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk in SD
install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk as normal apk
goto twrp, then flash xposed-v78-sdk22-x86.zip,reboot thats all..it will wipe cache,so ur apps will optimized
if u open and see the framework it would be like this PIC
if u had bootloop due to xposed at some point..use twrp and flash xposed-uninstaller-x86.zip thats all..
download modules,enjoy xposed
To update Xposed framework :
Using twrp [get the latest xposed-v78-sdk2x-x86.zip alone flash it ]
using adb [get the zip from here ,then just double click InstallXposedFramework.bat ,and wait for reboot....thats all]

10. OGXposed
Use this module if you want to sign-in to your account using OGYouTube (Xposed version only).
It'll fake the app signature, so GMS will think that you're using the official version.
Download OGYouTube from here: http://ogmods.net/home/OGYouTube
Disable auto-update for YouTube on 'Play Store'.
