So i just bought the Galaxy Note 4 for a good price, its unlocked and im using it with straight talk. From what i am now reading, there is no current root for it? I am looking to just debloat the stock rom.

Android 5.1.1
Edit: If there is no root, are people still actively trying to make it possible?

I recently upgraded my Samsung S5 active from a rooted Lollipop to the new Marshmallow.
Is there anybody here who were able to do a systemless root on their S5 Active? Or are
we pretty much SOL because our bootloaders are locked?
Thanks
Hello, I just bought the Samsung Galaxy S5 today at my local Walmart and saw it saying it got Android kitkat (4.4.2) I know that the Samsung Galaxy S5 can upgrade to lollipop or even Marshmallow. I wanna know away to get that without rooting if I have to root I wanna the safest and easy with no bugs. Now if I have to install a ROM and I want a Link to the ROM that will work for this phone. The ROM needs to just work without no bugs or slowdowns.
-Here is the info-
My phone: Straight Talk (Tracfone Wireless) Samsung Galaxy S5
Android Version: 4.4.2 KitKat
Model Number: SM-S902L
If you need anymore info just reply.
Thank You!
Hello All
My brother just gave me his SAMSUNG Galaxy NOTE 4 SM - N910W8 version for free so I want give it a new life with custom rom instead of the Samsung 6.0.1 with all the bloatware.
Any one can suggest a good custom rom for my NOTE 4 SM - N910W8 version?
I do not mind a good stock de-bloat rom.
So far I had root and installed TWPR on it already.
thankyou
Has Marshmallow been released in USA for Note 4 yet? I am unsure because all my friends have iphones or new Samsung phones with marshmallow already on it. I noticed that my Note 4 is still on 5.1.1.
I switched carriers from ATT to Tmobile and took my Note 4 with me, so i am guessing i missed the OTA.
How can i upgrade my Note 4? I connected my Note 4 to KEIS and it says the firmware is up to date.
Go to Sammobile.com and download the firmware that belongs to your Note 4 version (F, C, U) and using Odin you can install it by yourself. Check on YouTube for some tutorials, it's pretty easy. Good luck!
Im trying to root my AT&T Galaxy S8 running android pie. I am having trouble finding a guide to root anything other than G950F. Mine is G950U. Can someone here point me to a guide to root a Galaxy S8 G950U?
