I was trying to install an Official Stock Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 firmware, from SAMMOBILE Link for the firmware I tried to use: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=26516. So while flashing it with ODIN, I think it just randomly disconnected, but that just bricked my phone. I don't know whether it is a soft brick or a hard brick, but this is what happens to my phone, every time I turn on my phone whether it's done normally, the download mode or recovery mode method I will be stuck on that screen.
So now I typed in the error on Google to see how it can be fixed. Link to the method to fix the error: http://androidcentral.us/2013/09/how-to-fix-firmware-upgrade-encountered-an-issue-on-kies/
Firstly, my computer (running Windows 7 ULTIMATE 64-BIT) can detect my phone, saying the drivers have been installed successfully. However KIES doesn't detect mine. Anyways I still try to do this method where I have to go to Tools -> Firmware Upgrade and Initialization on KIES. I type in my model name: GT-I9505, that works, now I have to do my S/N or Serial Number: RF1DXXXXXXX, so when I press OK it says GT-I9505 doesn't support 'Intialising', so I am stuck have no idea what to do.
Also, while flashing I tried repartition my S4, to remove all of the stuff I had, none important, except my music which I transferred to my PC. Solved, just flashed Official firmware, it now works.
Just separately repartitioned my S4, it works but S4 is now stuck on boot loop, so have to flash a 4.4.2 Official Firmware.

Hi,
Can you get into recovery?
Can you still see your phone in odin?
If so , disable kies (task manager) and try to flash the firmware again.
Wipe data and cache before and after flashing firmware.
I have a Galaxy S4 SPH-L720T was trying to install an update to a rom i was testing out and my battery was at 25% and i was about to plug it in and the screen was black but it turned back on and the firmware was all messed up and it said my baseband version was unkown and i tried to go into recovery (TWRP) and it wouldn't load up so i booted into download mode and then i tried flashing a stock firmware and it failed so i cant boot into recovery/system but i can get into download mode but i have been trying to flash the stock firmware but it says i have no PIT partition. If your Phone is Not Rooted & Still Official Recovery You are using Try to Recover with Samsung Kies Most of the issues it'll solve...
Did you Check before Flashing the Drivers & Proper AP/PDA section??
More important are you Flashing the Correct Firmware for your Device???
Yeah cant connect to kies back then but i found a trick to passe that fail in odin when upgrading to 5.0.1 : when it freezed i reopened the download mode and put the n910h root in odin and then it succeded and the phone rebooted and bootlooped i then could access the recovery mode , i wiped everything and the phone just worked but with the 4.4.4 .
I tried one more time with the same procedure but when i opened the recovery mode i just hit reboot and the phone now has a rooted lollipop 5.0.1 even though i got a fail in odin.
But i v got very strange stuff going on with my phone :
-First i checked my s/n and imei with phone info and it showed a N910C not N910H
-I dont have a csc code and when i want to check it with phone info this popup shows up :
Error type 2
android.util.AndroidException: Can't connect to activity manager is the system running?

I just dont find the csc code ..
A dm-verity verification failed shows up in the recovery mode

Have u try using Odin to flash a stock image?
Are you trying to downgrade? Try the last firmware of 5.1.1 (just before marshmallow)
Friends give me S4 GT-I9502 dual SIM CHN
it's stacked bootlop I try to factory reset with recovery but it's can't go to recovery mode I have only download mode I try many firmware belong to i9502 but no one pass all give me fail even custom recovery fail when press start flash on Odin directly fail I try with firmware 4 file and fail
Open the phone and see the motherboard it's originally Exynos
Any idea how to make flashing firmware work
