So I tried rooting my phone multiple times before and every time it failed. I though I was doing something wrong until I realized that my phone was bootloader locked. Is there any way to unlocked the bootloader?

I've been trying to root my tmobile Samsung S6 edge plus for about a week but keep getting stuck in the bootloop and having to reset my phone. I've read other people having the same problem with this type of phone but have not found a solution to the problem. Does any one know a way to get passed this so I can root the device or is it not rootable?
Could someone help me unbrick my att s7 its in a bootloop. Thanks for your time.
So I was trying to put android n on my s7 att and it also got soft bricked, Two ways I got my working again
first
forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s7/how-to/g930uueu4api3-firmware-download-t3481159
that should work, if it doesnt
I flashed the

g930a root file, in ap and boom it also worked, So try both. The second option is quicker.
From what I gathered from s7'/s7e's and potentially on forward internally samsung phones are identical with different software/firmware enabling different network bands.
I have an unlock code but am currently rooted on my S7e 935A (at&t). Currently do not get an unlock prompt while inserting a Verizon sim card.
Is attempting to return to stock the best option? I tried previously and failed, softbricked the phone, couldn't flash another rom(ran into errors and dm-vertify issues), but rerooted successfully and got the phone unbricked. I assume I did something improperly.
What actually regulates weather or not the unlock prompt shows? My knox is not tripped but recovery shows custom version.
I've considered seeing if I could flash Verizon stock firmware and see if it would default enable the bands I'm needing to use but am not sure if 1. knox tripping would cause an issue and 2. if that would even work.
Maybe I could flash the unlocked version? 935U I'd assume it's called?
Just running through options looking for help. Figured I'd ask follks with more know how and knowledge than my self in this if it's possible at all currently. Thanks in advanced!
I went to switch to a different carrier, and was on cricket, and also tried tmobile both wich worked fine unlocked bootloader and rooted.
I then switched to sprint, and verizon and found out both carriers the phone would not work right. The data worked but the call and texting did not.
As a side note, I was informed by someone who was on sprint, and he said that you had to get on the network unrooted and locked bootloader, once registered you could then root and get the bootloader unlocked and be just fine.
So I then proceeded to unroot the phone ie: removing everything root, and keeping twrp with an unocked bootloader only, no sign of root. I took the phone back to the stores and tried again, and the phone still had the same issue.
After finally finding a way to finally after 6mo lock the bootloader again, and was at pure stock, locked bootloader and no root.
What this tells me is that some how verizon and sprint both some how some way detect an unlocked bootloader....how? I have no clue, I've never in my 5+ years of rooting multiple phones, never ever ever seen anything like this. The only reason I know this is what it was, is from common deduction and reasoning.........unroot = still doesn't work.....locked bl = works fine with not a single issue. Keep in mind this was all with base stock rom, not a custom rom.....everything was stock, accept for the root and un;ocked bootloader part. I rooted with magisk.
Since I had a very long time and issue with locking the bootloader, (about 6mo) after trying a ton of things, without resolve, I FINALLY got the bootloader locked.
If it's going to be anything like before trying to get it locked again to work on sprint and verzion, I really do not want to bother with unlocking it to begin with. It was an utter nightmare to get locked, no matter what I tried it just would not lock for whatever reason.
So given all that, my question is, how hard or easy is it now to unlock and lock the bootloader?
Hello. I am a Noob when it comes to rooting, but I've unlocked over 600 androids and 10 iPhones, so I "ain't no dummy"...lol.. My problem is this... I took an SM-G935P w/ unlocked bootloader and flashed G935U (bootloader 11 ) 8.0 firmware to it. Now i can use it on whatever network, which is cool, but even though in Developer Options it has the OEM Unlock toggle turned on, I cant seem to be able to root the damn thing.. TWRP keeps failing ( Recovery), CF Auto Root fails (Recovery)...Even the One Click Root crap fails.. I've seen several Oreo root files, but they are all for binaries well below mine...
I need some help here. Did I possibly lock the bootloader when I flashed the firmware to U? What can i do now to acheive root?

How did you manage to flash G935U bootloader to G935P, hence unlocked carriers. mine is also G935P
