Not a big deal but the updater-script checks against a July build date so it may fail for a lot of people unless edited.

I agree it is doubtful one would brick their phone, but bootloader and radio are not necessarily independent of OS.
Most of the time they are interchangeable, but sometimes not.

I think you'd want to flash vendor separately from bootloader/radio otherwise you are tying the bootloader radio to a particular release which seem counter to the purpose of this thread.

Update Name
12.0 YNG1TAS2I3 Incremental
Description
This update provides fixes for the following items:
* Touchscreen sensitivity
* Bluetooth connectivity with several in-car systems
* MMS sending on several carriers
Here is the direct link to the YNG1TAS2I3 build!
FULL BUILD = http://builds.cyngn.com/cyanogen-os/bacon/12.0-YNG1TAS2I3-bacon/30bd462d41/cm-12.0-YNG1TAS2I3-bacon-signed.zip
OTA LINK = http://builds.cyngn.com/fota/incremental/bacon/cm-bacon-e816218e8a-to-30bd462d41-signed.zip
Note: This is NOT LL5.1/CM12.1 It's Still On Lollipop 5.0.2 With Incremental Update.
The ROM file is 566MB, which is actually pretty small for a Lollipop build. Have fun flashing.
Press Thanks If This Post Helps You.......
Thank you =)
Is this a "full ROM"? I mean, can I wipe and then flash this? Or must I have a running ROM?

Thanks For OTA link. Will update the OP with it.
One thing I noticed is it removes the ability to adjust the RGB. Screen color still remains though.
Do anyone know whether this ROM (full download) can be flashed using the fastboot procedure described in the "Return to stock" thread or not?
I'm experiencing some 3G signal issues and would like to start from ground zero.
I flashed the full ROM in recovery over the stock 17L build. So far looking good. Thanks OP

Instructions:
Marshmallow:
Refer HERE
If you are already running twrp in marshmallow then simply flash any recovery updates using the image install function within twrp.
If you are already updated to the official marshmallow update from T-Mobile then you must wait for a root fix and this cannot be flashed from fastboot commands!!
Lollipop:
Your bootloader must be unlocked prior to attempting installation.
Option 1: Flash using fastboot.
Option 2: Flash in previous installed version of TWRP.

Previous versions may be found in the original posting HERE.
Changelog:
3.0.2-0 Marshmallow
05/01/16:
(REVISION) exfat enabled for testing
Device tree has been rebuilt and USB is operational for mtp, adb, and usb-otg.
INITIAL:
Recovery updated to v3.0.2-0
Kernel updated to Marshmallow
Fake epoch disabled in kernel
3.0.1-0 Lollipop
Fake epoch set for my device in the kernel (you will most likely experience incorrect date/time)
DST is now functional
Known issues:
The status bar is displayed in the 2nd screen area. (I have no plans on pursuing screen adjustment)
Time is not saved from Android to Recovery. Fake epoch time has been disabled in the kernel resulting in a year of '1971'. (The only way I've found of fixing this is with a custom fake epoch for each device based on build date. That simply is not going to happen...)
(Re)Sources:
Device tree is available HERE.
Compiled using twrp_omni 6.0 branch available HERE.
Kernel source is available HERE.
Get superSU from @Chainfire HERE.
Please report all issues on my github so I can track them HERE.

Installed and runs fine for me, but how do I downgrade back to Android 5? When I try to flash the old recovery.img then try to reboot into recovery from the bootloader, I get kicked back to bootloader. I then flash the 6.0 recovery.img again and fastboot wipe cache and recovery works again. I can't sideload the old images on Asus' website either...any ideas?

you have new update ??
Weird thing happened today.
An app (crane connect) reqiested permission to enable BT and I allowed it but BT didn't turn on (not even manually). So I shut down the app and left the phone on the table. After an hour I had no 3g/4g connectivity and no wifi. A reboot fixed everything.
Don't know if it's the app fault (bad mm compatibility) or is there a bug in fw. Hope it does not happen again because cell coverage is the main reason I bought this phone (is by far better than any phone I owned). I got a feeling though, that LP had a better reception.

Today I downloaded and compared STOCK FW ZX551ML MM (WW-4.21.40.74 (andriod M)) and ZE551ML BETA MM. In ifwi.zip is a surprise ... ZX left, ZE right. Both have a code name Z00A... I think that official ZE551ML version will come very soon.

This is wonderful, great work bro
I suggest to be carefull with this zip - it hard bricked my device (twrp or system was not able to boot, I had to revert the system to stock Android through fastboot, then install back custom rom)
Finally it was my decision. I take responsibility.
Best regards,
Bartłomiej.
Worked for me too
Work like a charm, i juste replace both abl_a and abl_b file in dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/ with your file and set permission to 777
