Hi, after using GravitiBox smart radio option I probably messed up my build.prop on Marshmallow and I now my cellular network settings are greyed out and I don't have any cellular connection.
I'd be really grateful if someone could post the default one for Marshmallow, my phone is unusable right now.

Thanks for the help, but apparently the problem is not the build.prop.. I'll see if I can extract it from my rom image and try it, but I guess it's not a build.prop issue. I'll see if I have cellular connection with another operator's sim.

You mean an hardware problem? The only thing I did lately was enabling GravitiBox smart radio.. I also tried my sim on another phone and it's not an operator or SIM account issue.. I need to try another SIM in my phone I guess.

No, I meant radio firmware. Hardware fault is the last thing to consider. Did you try resetting network settings (in Settings > Backup & reset)? Can you switch preferred network types in Testing menu (acces it by entering *#*#4636#*#* on dialpad > phone settings > preferred network type)?
I ended up reflashing /system bu to no avail.. Yes, I can go to that menu and change network type but apparently that has no effect..

Okay, solved it as you suggested, I probably had done something wrong while reflashing the radio firmware. This is what I did:
Code:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn

Looks like you broke something, well there are two options you can go from here:
1. Flash official firmware, you can do this by looking for your device in this link Official Stock Firmware Downloads. Press Ctrl F and type either XT1562 or XT1563 depending on your phone model.
2. Flash a custom rom, more information can be found in the development section.
Quick fix: try removing and inserting sim and seeing if it works as there is a known bug for this problem. May not work!

I've tried all the Stock Firmwares for the XT1562 and CM13 and none of them work. Been lurking here for a whole looking for a fix and cant find one

Could you please expand on what "none of them work" mean please, its a very vague answer. I guarantee you that flashing the 'right' device specific firmware will result in a functional system at least software wise.

When I mean all of them I have tried the Europe, Asia and Latin america flash and all of them result in the following
-No Sim or Wifi and it crashes after a while

I have a theory that the "Vfau" stock will because of the Modem Firmware work but I cannot find a rom of it.

Did you flash the stock ROMS with fastboot? Because like this you delete the old modems and therefore there shouldn't be any problems with that anymore after doing this.

Yeah I flashed the ROMs using fastboot, there were even a few times I just flashed the modems JUST IN CASE
so today i unlocked the bootloader,flashed cm then it got stuck at boot image.so reverted back to stock (its correct firmware i know it).wifi is working,sim is detecting but no network.More over when i do search for mannual search of network some error occurs.imei is still there it ,is not lost.Edit-just discoverd that finger print sensor is not working.this all started after flashing Temasek's CM13!!!!(not pointing finger on him,but somehting has gone wrong terribly xD)so another thing I came to know.is my phones radio is off.I try to turn it on but it does not

Hello, my G4 Plus reads IMEI 0 when *#06# in ROM, but I can read the correct IMEI from fastboot getvar imei and can see my correct IMEI in /proc/config/imei. Any help to restore my IMEI is appreciated, I will be happy to provide and test any information as needed.
Also, I can connect to my carrier, but I cannot use voice, data, or SMS. Sometimes it drops to no service.
Would anybody happen to know how to enable RNDIS + DM + MODEM mode on the G4?

I got my stock ROM from here, another thing is I did go from a custom ROM on Nougat. I read about that being a factor as well.

Is your bootloader unlocked? If so I'd go to TWRP and flash the stock 93-14 N backup that's floating around somewhere on XDA.
Also, make sure to flash the radio and fastboot corresponding to your stock ROM version.
If you don't fix your phone though I'll take it

Did you make a imei backup Image the first time?

I think the IMEI isn't erased. I had the same issue last month. There are different types of firmware(custom roms are based on them too) and they doesn't notice the IMEI If you flash the wrong one. So I would recommend to flash the right and if you do not know the right, try every (I suggest to test the Indian one first. In most cases it is the solution).

Yes, the N ROM that can be restored through TWRP.
By all means, also try flashing stock Nougat through fastboot.

I'm in the same boat as you dude, I've tried everything from flashing non-corrupted HW partitions to flashing a whole lot of old custom roms to see if I can get my IMEI.

That's not good idea to flash all available firmware. It can be old firmware and flashing old firmware (downgrade) can damage lots of things on your device.
First tell us which device you have and if your your phone is g4plus and not changed to normal g4. FingerPrint working correctly ?
Try "fastboot getvar all" command check if it shows your IMEI somewhere, and post result here. ( if it shows IMEI, then tell us and remove it and post.)

In my case I flashed all firmware included in android 6 (it's stock) from a custom android 7 build. I know it's an old thread but I'm still open to suggestions and hoping to fix this.
To make more sense, I downgraded from 7 to 6.

the proble is taht my phone recognise my sim card but i have no services and when i want to call someone its sasy that the airplane mode is active. but its not turned on .
so far i tried to wiped out cache and factory reset but didnt solve it.

I have been last week in hungary and T Mobile HU was working fine on my axon 7 G Version.
I would recommend two things:
Check if your SIM Card is working fine with your device, or go into a T Mobile store and set another test card in. Or find someone who has another sim card for you.
But as far as I understood you, with the chinese ROM you had a signal?
Check if you can see the available networks in your area. (Mobile providers settings)
Double check your APN settings.
My SIM card work well in my other phone so it must be within my axon 7. My axon 7 I can turn on off the airplane mode and it can see that the sim card is T-Mobile but can't call because it says that I have to turn off airplane mode.
Is it possible to change baseband version?
Or I should try to flash some other region official rom?
Well Ian not sure if it was Chinese because only the mifavor recovery was Chinese.

Just do that. There must be a problem while your last flashing process.

You probably have no signal because you flashed another model's ROM through EDL. you have the wrong NHLOS.bin file.
You have to follow a guide to unlock the bootloader ON YOUR PHONE MODEL (A2017!) then you can fix it

I don't really know if flashing the corresponding ROM will fix your phone, but I think it will. You might like MiFavor 5.0 anyways
I'll send you the EDL package link for an A2017 rom. flash it and if you have signal, update through OTA. No need to unlock

You shouldn't have tried the G rom! You messed up the modem in the process. That's why I don't know if flashing the chinese ROM again will magically fox things. But it's worth trying

If you are flashing full firmware then the modem files should be installed.

You need to be rooted (plenty of guides of how to do that), & run an adb shell as root...
Once you clear the modemst1 & modemst2 partitions you can restore your IMEI using this (in case your backup is still corrupt)

Okay i've rooted my f800K and installed TWRP.
I ran your commands they passed with no error. I still have the Service disabled thing.
Should i flash modemst1 and modemst2 ? Becouse i do not have those files for the F800K.
Or should i reflash a .kdz stock system? with lg up ( i think i will loose root if i reflash the stock rom )
