Should be fine as neither are network locked.
To downgrade your phone its not that easy, you can lose your IMEI.

Hi Guys,
I would like to first root my phone and upgrade to KitKat 4.4 firmware and remove the Optus bloat ware. I have stumbled across this firmware and wanted to know if it would be safe to upgrade?
Firmware: I9505XXUFNA1_I9505OXAFNA1_I9505XXUFNA1_OXA - from sammobile
Currently with Optus and my settings are:
Model: GT-I9505
Product Code: GT-I9505ZKAOPS
PDA: I9505XXUEMK9
CSC: I9505OPSEMJ5
Modem: I9505XXUEMK9
Any help would be greatly appreciated
I dont recommend that process coz:
1. The Australian (OPTUS) firmware still without receive the correct android 4.4.2 update.
2. i9505XXUFNA1_I9505OXAFNA1_I9505XXUFNA1_OXA is only a LEAK KitKat firmware (with bugs).
3. You own a branded phone. Better only disable the bloatware at this moment or root it without void ur warranty if you can

You can't downgrade to kitkat 4.4.4 because the bootloader in 5.1.1 is locked .but you can flash android 5.1.1 ...
go to kies and do recovery fw installation
Just flash 5.1.1 Stock Rom for 910C via Odin.
ROM: Here

Hi..my note 4 910c is shutting down automatically..
I folowed few instructions and found thats happening after System update to marshmallow
I have found and went to safe mode uninstall /disabled some apps which I don't use and after updating I have wiped cache.
After doing all this I have found that my phone has not shut down of 2 hours of usage
benefits of doing that is I found it is charging better thwn before..
Any idea or suggestions?
If you have installed the latest OS updates for Marshmallow. You can no longer downgrade from Marshmallow to Lollipop.
Hi guz,
I want to downgrade my NOTE 4 from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1. I googled it and did show one of the thread on this forum using ODIN method for that. My problem is to find the correct firmware version for note 4.
My device info is given below
Model Number: SM-N910F
Baseband version: N910FXXU1DPB1
Build Number: MMB29M.N910FXXU1DPE1
Please help me on finding the correct firmware or suggest me on identifying the possible versions.
Thank you.
Go to sammobile and find the last released 5.1.1 firmware for your device.

Use any unbranded firmware mate, UK for example. By unbranded I mean try those which don't come with any carrier labelling, you know like O2 etc.

Yes, unless EE is a carrier name it should be unbranded.
Installing the EE firmware will also install EE's own remote phone locking software in the persdata partition (Which is a real pain to remove as it will keep coming back even if you flash a non EE firmware) as well as EE's bloatware.
Use the BTU firmware for a clean unbranded phone.

Downgrading on galaxy note 4
Hi....I just found your thread and wanted to know did the downgrade work in the end and what impact did it have on the phone. Did it improve? What were the reasons you decided to downgrade?
Thanks
Hi All,
I am looking to upgrade my Samsung Galaxy S5 to Marshmallow manually ( I got through an operator in Costa Rica and they are not close to release it).
My phone's model is SM-G900F:
AP: G900FXXU1BOJ1
CP: G900FXXU1BOJ1
CSC: G900FCRC1BOJ1
I found official firmwares on Sammobile for my model but not match my country, so, I am not sure if by installing any of those I will break my phone. I am pretty new on this matter.
Can anyone clarify this? Can I move forward and install it without any issues?
Regards,

Its doest matter... as long u flash the correct model for ur device.. if u came from kitkat or lollipop and want to upgrade to marshmallow u need to flash bootloader n modem for marshmallow first before flash the firmware...
If firmware from sammobile its already included with bootloader n modem (as i know its was included)..
My original csc is XME... now im using BTU and moded rom (xXx rom)
Send from SM G900F xXx 5.1 Odex Boeffla 2.1 beta3 Twrp 3.0.2-0
