Hi
I was wondering if you have any suggestions on rom where the audio will work during calls.
I have tried stock nexus 5.0, 5.0.1, 4.4.4 and PA latest Alpha.
All of these continued to give me no audio during call.
Instead of keeping on trying roms randomly, I wanted to try something which is likely to work.
Somebody mentioned omni rom is working with audio during call, is this the general feeling?
I really like Lollipop interface and would love to have a lollipop rom if possible? Any other advice on why my audio during calls may not be working even with downgrading to 4.4.4?
Thanks
Edit: Tried OMni ROm Feb 13, 2015 Nightly; 3.4.0-perf-ge7e8c8f omnirom kernel; baseband M9615A-CEFWMAZM-2.0.1701.03
Please help because audio during calls is still not working!
Bump... plz help... I am trying my best i can with my basic skills and am looking out to the community for some guidance.
If you don't a get audio in calls on stock you have a defective device. A rom isn't going to make a difference

This problem only started once lollipop build came out. And i believe it is a problem loads of people are facing... something to do wit google play... I doubt that it's a defective device issue. Also, there are times when the audio does work and audio almost always works if I put the device on speakerphone. I am puzzled though why it is not working with OMNI and stock 4.4.4... could it have something to do with radio or bootloader? Are these aspects changed when flashing from TWRP recovery?
Hello all I was wondering if anyone had any conclusive advice on whether, and if they do, how, AOSP ROMS have working voip?
Got my G2 recently and have tried blisspop, ressurectionremix and cm12. I have settled on cm12 but a recurring theme a month these LP CM AOSP based roms is that my mic doesnt work in skype. I can see and hear the other person and they can see me but can't hear me. I know this is has been discussed in threads but there are conflicting reports on whether it is working or not.
D802 bought on 4.4.2
ioRoot and Autorec
Flashed a JB bootloader, stayed on the KK baseband as cm12 can take either KK or JB
Flashed CM12
Have tried the audio policy fix found on resurrection remix rom thread (2nd post) and didnt work, neither has flashing a JB baseband. Was wondering if anyone had got skype working on a lollipop AOSP rom and how?
nb/ some people report distorted mic and some report mic not working. to clarify, my problem is the latter
Hi guys, my Moto X Play is the XT1562, single SIM UK version and I'm running stock debloated ROM (see signature), I've tried running CM13 based ROMs and even OrionOS, which seems to be AOSP based, but the SIM is not detected on any of these ROMs, tried Pac-Rom based on 5.1.1 and on this one, everything works fine.
Is there any fix for single SIM Moto X Play? I've see other people with the same issue, but I haven't found a solution, please let me know if there is any.
Thanks =D
Take a look to this.
I have Already a moto E First Generation But Now I also Own Moto G4 Plus(16 GB)(ATHENE)(INDIA) MODEL
The Problem Is everything works (EXCEPT LASER FOCUS I know that anyways) in all Custom ROM's such as Cyanogenmod ,Resurrection Remix ,PAC ROM AND EVEN the unofficial SLim Rom also. But the only Problem I am getting is When we call to anyone or any call is received by me doesn't get the voice of the caller or my voice to him on Earpiece as well as On Speaker but my phone rings while recieving and i can also call to anyone I tried all things but Doesn't succeed. But In Stock Rom everything with calls also works as its Stock rom but in all custom it doesn't work.I tried reflashing all ROM's and also by flashing on the stock os(by wiping all Except System). Now I am using Creepy Stock Rom like a hell because only i can't call on my moto G4_plus but can do everything else.Plz also check if anyone is getting the same problem and Don't forget to help me Please...
There is no working ROM yet, they are all on Alfa stage. Be patient.

I haven't been following the Android scene lately, and have been thinking about upgrading to Nougat. I'm running an unlocked bootloaded, TWRP, and a "debloatded + root" ROM based off stock (can't remember which one). When I say "best ROM", to me that's the least problematic ROM. I'd like to have a ROM where the power management doesn't go crazy and force me to reboot in order to not have it auto-kill NPR One every day. I'm aware of the CyanogenMod / LineageOS shakeup, but I'm not clear on if there's a build for the Axon 7, and the state of things. It seems like about enough time has passed to where there would be a few Nougat ROMs out there where all the basic functionality is working (GPS, BlueTooth, etc), but I'm not sure what the good options are.
People running Nougat, do you have any suggestions for ROMs you're using / loving? In the past I've been quite happy with CM-based ROMs, but I'm not adverse to stock or stock-based setups provided they are less buggy than the stock Marshmallow ROM. I prefer to have a rooted device so I can use an adblocking solution if possible.

Well, if you have an A2017U or G, it's best to stick with Marshmallow. B15 (Nougat for the A2017U) is buggy and slow. A2017G doesn't have an official Nougat version for now, so in order to have Nougat you have to flash B15.
If you have chinese model, there's 7.1.1 which works better but some users are experiencing problems with the Google Play Store.
I don't recommend AOSP roms at all, they have many issues like:
Camera (currently it crashes when recording videos and the quality is subpar)
Bluetooth (many incompatibilities with some devices)
Sound (no dolby atmos and only one channel is working so speakers are mono)
Fingerprint sensor is very buggy on some devices
Animations are not as smooth
Sometimes the device will unlock to a black screen or an unresponsive desktop
Can't remember more, but there's more
There's only a few... Check them out.

Stick with MM, it's great. It's fluid, the camera is good enough, the sound is great and the battery life is very good.
7.1.1 is on the way for us A2017U users.
