Just gone onto my s7 edge to call my wife under my favourites and there is none there. They were there earlier. Now it won't let me add any as they're not under my add button.
Do you contacts need to be on your sim card or 1 of the other sections?

Try logging into Gmail on a pc, then set them as favourites in there and then sync the phone and see if they return.

They don't have to be on the sim card.

Saw this website from samsung galaxy that sends postcards to love ones and for free
If u open the link the phone it will give u an option for a free credit to the touchnote application.
( Dont know if this has been posted here before

awesome! free postcards!

but ...
it says sign in if you are an existing touchnote user to gain a free credit, and then gives you no way to sign in, only to create a new account. Putting in valid account details only tells you there is already someone with that account!
Anyway, I can get unlimited photos from this on the PC, I believe, as I can generate any number of email addresses having a catchall email account. I wonder when they'll twig ... ?
I dont know if its already here with the solution...
But after the update 4.1.1 the Play Magazines app disappeared from mi N7... I already did the factory reset and nothing... Any tips?
Thanks!
Same here. Also Google Play Books, Movies and TV, Wallet were disappeared. I have no idea what's going on.

Where r u from? It seems that these will only work in US.
Use titanium backup to defrost them...
Titanium backup requires root. BUT I FOUND A WORKAROUND MYSELF:
1) Update the desired app through the web-based Play Store.
2) Then uninstall it from within the Play Store on the device.
3) TADAAAAA you'll see the app in the apps menu.
4) Update it again from the device.
Hit "Thanks" if I helped.

Another workaround:
Just remove your Google account and re-add it BUT KEEP IN MIND that you have to be connected to a US-based VPN all the time.

Click to collapse
What about using MarketAccess or MarketEnabler whilst Wi-Fi is turned on and phone signal and GPS turned off?
When my Play content disappeared my 'fix' was to remove my Google account and re-add it. You'll notice the Accounts option under settings within the Play app itself. So I just switched to a different account (the Play app only seems to let you use one at a time, unlike eg gmail where you can add all of your Android associated accounts) and then back to the original one.
Worked for me anyways, hope it helps :good:
The Native Email App...not gmail....is Stopping.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Have you removed/froze the "My magazine" app(s)?
For some reason the stock email app is dependent on it.

funny you ask... I had that the last few days with a MS exchange account and just removed my account and then restarted and then reinstated it and boom all good. My email actually didnt stop, per se, it would recieve, but not send any attachments and then finally after the a fore mentioned it worked. btw stock here
My Verizon Galaxy Note 4 is really great with this one exception.
When I open the app it takes a minimum of 16 seconds to load. Clicking a message takes a couple seconds to load. When I swipe to delete it disappears, then comes back, but if I click on it, it disappears again. I have 2 accounts, and about 2k unread messages.
The mobile data usage for exchange says .30gb, and 3.0gb for wifi, which seems super high since I've only had this since Friday afternoon, so 5 full days.
This phone is amazing, but this is making it unusable. Any help would be really great
I have the same problem, I have 2 exchange accounts and my email client is very slow to respond
Does anyone have any ideas how we can fix this ?
I have only a few emails in my inboxes and don't sync any other mail folders so my cache for mail isn't massive
Thanks in advance for any assistance
Si

I've just checked and my app "email" has stored data of .97gb.
Is this a lot and is this causing the slow down ?
Friend of mine has problem with email and text on two not Samsung Verizon phones. It could be a carrier problem.

Stock email app is terrible. i use knox email which is better. try that.
I've switched to Mailwise and it's brilliant,
I have the play store set to auto update apps over Wi-Fi only. However, none of my apps are auto updating, I have to go into the play store and click 'Update All' manually to apply the updates.
I've checked the following ...
Individual app settings to ensure they can be Auto Updated.
Data Usage policy.
Restricted Wi-Fi settings.
All seems to be set correctly for updates to apply. Any other ideas what could be stopping this from working?
I don't know the answer to this but my partners LG G3 had the same problem weather on OS 4,5 or 6
