I'm using the S7e battery in my S6. Wondering if somebody can extract the S7e battery calibration file so it can be put into the S6.
My battery life is fantastic now (over 24h and 7h Screening with no issues) but the calibration issue constantly off. I have to use *#0228# at various levels to get accurate reading.
I figured the S7e battery calibration file should solve this...
Thanks

Hi, yes I know batterystats.bin is useless but somewhere the OS knows the capacity. The previous battery was 2550 and the new one is 3600. Whenever I do *#0228# calibration the total of corrections equals the difference in capacity. So 2550mah is somewhere in the system.
Whether I do corrections while Charging or discharging it seems I'm "moving" 2550mah around within 3600mah...either Im extending discharge, e.g. move from 20% to 40% and then from 5% to 15% (total +35%) or extend charging: Indicator shows 100% but LED is still red for another hour until "really" fully charged and LED turns green.

^^ WOW! And yet there are android/samsung evangelists who defend that!
how did you put s7e battery into your s6? is it fit perfectly?
Recalibration with *#0228#
Nobody can fix this? Cash involved!

I noticed something very odd this morning on my nexus 4.
As can be seen from the screenshots below, the battery level reported 100 percent for a brief period of time this morning when it has not been anywhere near a charger. A short while after it reported the correct battery level again. The phone was in sleep the whole time.
Any1 have any idea what might have happened?

My MAXX has been acting up as of late with what I believe to be battery related issues. The phone would run fine to 50% battery and then become unstable, sometimes it'll all of a sudden drop down to 5% and more often would reboot. Ordered an Onite 3500mah battery off Amazon and installed it. Charging as I am typing this post. Hope it fixes my problems as I still love this phone even being an iPhone 6s owner for a while now. Lenovo can go suck it, it's not Motorola's fault it is not upgrading the MAXX to Lollipop, it's the new management.

Currently sitting at 70% on the same charge as the OP. Seems like the phone is doing OK with the new battery. Will see if it'll make it through the day without a charge. I miss the JB days when the phone legitimately can go without a charge for days. KitKat and Lollipop ended that with a quickness. My iPhone 6s with its tiny battery have very similar battery life to the MAXX on normal use but iOS is much better at idling as I can go without a charge for days on low usage occasions. The MAXX with Greenify, Amplify and Power Nap still can't come close, don't know how the deep doze feature in Marshmallow compares. Guess I'll find out here shortly as CM13 for the MotoX seems to be coming along nicely thanks to a few dedicated members. Guess the trigger point would be when they fix the flashlight issue... They seem to have everything else working.

So this has been happening kinda recently. Samsung Battery info and GCAM are showing 2 different stats from full charge. What is the case? And which would be most accurate?

I noticed the same thing happening on my Sprint GS7E. I emailed the dev but no response, no updates to app. I think the SOT from Settings is more accurate.

Have been noticing the same. Sometimes after soft reboot the gsam monitor starts reading the percent o from from reboot time whole the screen on time and phone awake time remains the same and is not updated after soft reboot

Surely it has to be the latest number that is correct? One of them is losing count leaving the other correct.

I'm not sure! I was thinking maybe I needed a factory reset because something may have been causing this error in reporting different SOTs

Sorry, not latest. LARGEST value must be correct?
Hi everybody.
It's more than a month that I'm experiencing a battery drain coming from an "unaccounted" source (reported from the app System Panel 2). I haven't put on charge the phone last night, and this is the result (see attachment and link). Any idea about what is draining and/or how to solve it?
Thanks in advantage!

Why is my screen using 200mA or more, for 5 min, each half an hour?

Ok, quite weird for a screen for having this much drain, are you on Oreo, there is a problem with undue battery drain, https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/help/samsung-s8-oreo-battery-drains-fast-t3772609 try keeping the brightness down and reduce the resolution. Good Luck, EDIT: It might be your android system, after checking my phone the android system and screen take most battery.
How long does your phone last on a full charge?

Let's say around 12 hours if I don't use it a lot.
Hi did anyone find out what the unaccounted accounts to. Still showing the same in 2021
Hey everyone,
my Note 4's battery (SM-N910F) is draining really fast. I bought 3 new batteries (1 samsung from their site and 2 rav power) and my battery still only holds for like 3 to 4 hours (instead of the whole day as before).
Can you help me figure out a fix?
Thanks !
Android 6.0.1 is running.
Version number MMB29M.N010FFXXU1DQL2.
Baseband N910FXXS1DQA1
3 -4 hours when using it? That is great. However, if standby is affected then you need to see what is running in the background and affecting the battery. Use BetterBatteryStats and or Gsm Battery monitor

no, 3-4 hours when almost not using it ! Before, the battery was lasting all my work day. Now at lunch, it's done.
I installed Gsm battery monitor, here's what I get:

Do a search on android system battery drain and try some of the fixes. Something is running causing the drain. Google or other backup or something constantly syncing etc.
Finally, I did a full factory reset and now the battery is back to normal!
