64GB One in the UK (whether and when)

Does anyone have any reliable info about when/if the 64GB version of the One will be available in Britain?

HTC has embarked on it's nationwide tour showing off the HTC One and it's not long until it hits these shores... but only in 32GB guise initially.
A HTC spokesperson confirmed to us that while both the 32GB and 64GB models will come to the UK in due course, the initial release will be of the 32GB variant.

I hate announcements like that. Even if we can trust it as accurate, there's no clue as to when. If it's going to be two weeks from now, then I want to cancel my 32GB pre-order and wait; but if it's going to be several months, I don't.
Anyone heard anything else?
Finally, a request: can we please NOT have any posts in this thread from people saying "you don't need 64GB"; quite possibly you don't, and that's great, I'm happy for you, and have no argument with you; but I do need 64, and am not especially interested in explaining why.

A good question is do you need LTE? If no look for an online store here in asia which could ship orders internationally. Asia will be getting 64gb versions this end of march.

Yes asia will most prolly get 64gb as they mite not get LTE..Htc is compensating by this.

In think I do need it, yes.
Grey imports scare me, anyway - it's such a hassle with warranties when they go wrong.

I was at the HTC City Tour in Birmingham on Sunday. The leaflets they were giving out absolutely mention the 64GB variant for the UK. And when I asked when it will be released I was told shortly after the 32GB goes on sale. Couldn't get anything more precise than "shortly" though. It feels a great phone.

I just got an info that 64GB version (in Europe) will take more than 3 months to be released after 32GB one, and that it could be network branded... :crying:

Finally Z1 is coming to Thailand

I live in Thailand and have been waiting for Z1 release here. I don't want to import from EU due to high import duty and lack of warranty in case I get defective phone. I just went to Sony Store to see if I could pre-order one. They told me that Z1 will officially launch at Thailand Mobile Expo 2013 from Oct 3~6 and I can pre-order at Sony booth. I'll order mine on very first day Hope it'll come with latest firmware and fix superior auto by the time it is released.

What model that sell in Thailand c6902 or c6903? Thx

It is not clear if they are going to release just one model with LTE or 2 models with and without it. A guy at sony store had no detail info.

I'm in Thailand, I bought from Clove in the UK and although I paid VAT in Thailand I was exempt from VAT in the UK so actually worked out cheaper even with postage
warranty is a concern but if it comes to the worst I'll post it to Clove

I don't think we will be waiting too long even if we don't get it on first batch. Thai market is still crazy with galaxy and iphone. I bet many Thai smart phone users don't even know about Z1.

xperia z1 price has been confirmed at 20,990 baht with 3 colors to choose. the price is quite good, i thought it'd be like 22,900 baht. i hope there'll be 4g since 1 web said there was going to be 4g but another web said there won't be.

At that price it has to be the C6902 HSPA version I'd be very surprised if it was the LTE version - still good price though

i think so, because lg g2 launch price was 19,900 baht and it was sold at the shop for 19,900 baht.

Reasonable price, cheaper than what I was expecting. I'm going to get purple Never had a purple phone before. LTE...I don't really care much about that. If it is included, well that would be great. If not, no big deal. LTE won't be widely available in Bangkok in a year or two. By that time, we all will be buying new phones anyway.

yep, you can get your device straight away. no pre-order. the page is in facebook https://www.facebook.com/sonyxpth it's in thai though. still not sure if it's 4g or 3g since sony didn't confirm officially, but their sony xp page said so. the old model that was Z and ZU both had seperate version of 3g/4g for sell with difference prices, they might do that again with z1 lol. have to wait for them to confirm officially. i don't really care anyway since i'll still get it. :laugh:

All you in U.S. and U.K. talking about preorders. What about Europe? Motorola support in Europe is crappy. And probably we will not see Nexus 6 before Januar 2015. Can someone tell me, when will be Nexus 6 in stores in Austria?

UK here, we're all in the same boat brother.

Run Motorola, run faster from Google to Lenovo. Lenovo will care about European buyers. But i cannot confirm, that Motorola will be so good as now.

Some norwegian stores are taking preorders. Dustin Home has the 64GB version with delivery status for 10th November and 32GB for 20th November (this date appeared today). Some other stores list just "November" too.
Proshop.no has them from listed for 1st November, but I contacted them and they said that this date is not confirmed.

And Price is 649 and 699€?
This is killing me, beacuse there you can buy Note 4 for 630€ for 32GB version.

The price in Norway is 810$ for 32GB and 857$ for 64GB.
So it´s about the same.

The one with 4GB of RAM will be released later. Motorola has reserved this variant to be launched along side the Moto X 2016 or the Moto Z (whatever it maybe named). You won't be able to buy a 4GB one now.

If they wanted to, they would surely have listed it on the Indian site. Just like the new Moto G Play which isn't listed nor introduced on the Indian site and is being silently launched in some EU and US markets just like the G4 Plus 4GB models.

I recomend to buy 3GB unit now.

The 64 GB version is available for pre-order for $470. Yesterday they've sold more than 30000 Axon 7 in just 15 minutes.

Well, even if you wanted to buy from this site you would not receive it because they don't deliver abroad. Btw it is the official shopping site of ZTE.

I hope it does as I know a few people that would like one but can only afford a phone through a carrier subsidy. I hope the 6GB/128GB goes up for pre-order soon for the US and Canada. This is the only phone over the past few years that has interested me enough to do away with carrying two phones daily. A Nexus 6 and a Nexus 6P are both great phones, but being able to have two SIM's in one very decent device all around is what I have been hoping to see for quite some time.
The Telus and T-Mobile reps I have spoken with don't list it on what they have coming in the next few months though. Wind in Canada will probably get them in limited supply though. Being available at BestBuy and other major retailers across the US will also make them easy to find.

Seems to go along with the price that has been thrown out there. $650

If the prices from the "international pre-order" are right, we stand at 409€/449$ for 4gb/64gb version. For the 6gb/128gb version, considering adjusted conversion prices, we are at 549€/619$.
That puts us with a 140€/170$ difference between the two versions.
I mean i'm not intersted in the "premium" version but even if the only differences are RAM, ROM and Force Touch, it seems like a pretty sweet deal to me !

I highly doubt it'll be sold through and subsidized by carriers. This will be the typical unlocked device scenario.
