Ive recently installed jokerdroid4.2 and have suffered some crazy battery drain. Pretty much every night if it isnt charging and left on battery, by the time i wake up ~50% of the charge has gone - last night i left it at 97 and this morning it was 53. Is there anything i can do to sort this issue because i never had it on cm7 and actually had great battery life on that. Thanks
fix = uninstall task manager and when charged at 100% (still plugged in to charger) download battery calibration app from market and do battery calibration. after that give the battery few full charge/discharge cycles (charge it to 100% and dont charge until battery dies and phone turns off). do that after flashing any rom. if that doesnt work, its a hardware problem prolly.
hit thanks if i helped u.

How does that help ?
He is saying battery is drained quickly, not that battery values are wrong.
There are apps that shows which software has consumed battery and by how much. Check in one of those list. If you haven't started using any new heavy apps then problem is related to basic functions like Mobile Data Network or WiFi or Cell Tower Signal etc.
Fix for these problems should be listed out by devs, but choose to ignore.

That method helped me.

Plus, you dont need additional apps, any "monitoring" app just drains battery. You can check in settings.

Hi all! I have installed circular battery indicator on my phone so that i can easily check what apps/processes are consuming my battery. It used to work and show me the stats. However, I recently reflashed because my GPS wasn't working and wiped battery stats in CWM, and now, the apps just doesn't work. When I try to view battery stats, it just shows a whole lists of apps with 0% for them all. How do I fix it? I'm using MIUI Galnet Twooey 2 with JPG modem and Neo 16 kernel. Thank you!
EDIT: I realized that I didn't enable battery monitor...

Hello everybody
I have problem with battery drain when my WiFi is on. During night my battery drain 1-2% which is great and WiFi is off, but when I turn my WiFi on and just read news with some app it goes down 5-10% in like 10-15 min. I'm not rooted because he is still in warranty and I don't wanna lose it just yet.
I've searched the forum and I have just found that people have problem when WiFi is off and battery drain like is on but that's not problem here.
Any suggestion?
Thanks.

To diagnose this you would need an app that monitors what it is that is draining the battery.
Try installing "Better Battery Stats," open the app once then close it. For a few hours, use your phone like normal or in a situation you want to diagnose. Then go into Better Battery Stats and post a screenshot of "Kernel Wakelocks," "Partial Wakelocks," and "Other" here so we can take a look.

Other apps which are good to see what is draining the battery are GSam Battery Monitor and Wakelock Detector.
GSam Battery Monitor: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm
Wakelock Detector: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uzumapps.wakelockdetector
Do the same with these apps as I said with Better Battery Stats and post screenshots from them.
Good luck!
Thanks for quick replay. I'm using GSam Battery Monitor for 2 weeks now and here are the images I think it could helps.
If you need something more just ask.

Those pictures look pretty alright. I'd say you aren't suffering from the Android OS bug a lot of other people are suffering from. What is your screen on time? 32% battery left after 6½ hours is quite a lot of drain, it seems as though you must have had the screen on almost the entire time. Looks as though Facebook and Google Services are the ones draining your battery. You could uninstall or deactivate sync for Facebook for a while and see. Google Play Services issued an update some day ago which is rolling out which should fix battery drain as well. You'll have to keep a lookout for that one.
Hello Dear XDA community.
I'm facing a problem regarding battery callibration. Can somebody guide me how to calibrate the battery properly since even root applications for the said purpose do not seem to work. My problem is battery drain, since the M.Tweaks app shows battery health at 77% but Accubattery shows it to be 64% and there is difference in system battery percentage and the battery percentage in TWRP. Furthermore, when using lineage os, the battery percentage is same as TWRP, and the Accubattery health is also 76% and the battery drain is also not issue on lineageos rom. However, on Stock Rom its seems to be out of sync with TWRP and battery drain is the problem. Sorry for bad English...
