So im having trouble figuring out where to get the boot loader and modem. I went the link that was posted 2 post before but I only see download for firmware. Is firmware the same thing for bootloader and modem. The website that I got from the post that was suggest to you is https://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?q=N900t. Is the bootloader and modem
Bootloader. Modem is a part of then firmware.
Bootloaders modems posted in General section.

Hi, what boot loader are you and and have you changed your modem recently? Just if your on old bootloader and the ROM came with an updated MODEM from the new bootloader sound may not work

If you are on old (Knox free) bootloader, reflash your modem. But only the modem.bin without non-HLOS.bin. non-HLOS.bin breaks the sound on old bootloader.

If he is on the old bootloader and has broken sound already, he needs to flash the MH1 or earlier non-HLOS.bin aka wifi fix to get sound back...
P.S. You may also find this post (and the thread it was posted in) very useful

Hey xda!,
I own a Galaxy Y (GT-S5363) with O2 Germany branded device. I am interesting to flash a Custom ROM on it but they are all for GT-S5360
Now my questions :
1. Can i simply flash a custom ROM (like CyanogenMod 7.2) on my GT-S5363 without getting problems?
2. Can i flash a GT-S5360 firmware over GT-S5363 via Odin3?
I didn't find anything in forums that can help me.
I hope you guys can help me with my questions and thanks in advance

I don't really know about custom roms for your device but see the 3rd comment in the thread in the below link :-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1395282
Edit :- I think you can use s5360 roms on your device... however i cannot assure you that they will work.
source :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1575886
from memory of reading other posts in the past the 5363 is just a regional varient and you can flash 5360 firmware on it but do it at your own risk - no one here will take any responsibility if you damage your phone

Yup, some older custom roms are also supposed to work on your device.
Read here :-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1575886
and if you have got a backup of your stock rom or if u know how to flash stock rom with odin then you can even try some new custom roms and tell us about the results !

if you want to change your baseband you need to split the firmware into pda csc and modem
I already gave you the link to my firmware thread with already split firmware so I dont know why you used the firmware in your screenshot

Thanks ma'an, just got one for 0.99 with shipping of ebay to play around with
I have a n9005 with knox set. It's running omega rom version 21. I haven't updated modem for a long time and the modem version was XXUENA2. So I thought oh it's about time to upgrade that. Then all hell broke lose.
I flashed to the latest DXUGNH1 and it was ok, but after rebooting the phone, I lost mobile data while voice was still ok. So I flashed again to XXUFNG2. This time the baseband version and IMEI number became unknown.
I then tried to flash to some other version and flash back to the old na2 version but nothing worked. I even tried "Fix Soft Brick Loop_ EFS partition" script thinking it might be an EFS problem but that didn't help either.
Now I'm sitting here trying to download a stock samsung rom to flash. Will that help, I don't know...
If anybody has any idea, please let me know. I'm desperate to get it fixed.

Thanks for the tip guys. Just before I go and download it, I just want to know whether there is a particular reason for flashing that version? Because I flashed NE3 official just now and the baseband is still unknown. If that's the case, will NG1 work instead? Hell, I'll just do it anyway and see I guess. Thanks again.
Your bootloader is new, and old modems not working on a new bootloader
sorry for bad english
I have the same problem, did you make any progress? ty.

Hello
I'm runing S5 Rc Elite rom on my Note 3 N9005 International version. If I want to make update to a CM11 4.4.4 rom can I go back to my 4.4.2 Rc Elite rom after? I don't know how to check if my bootloader is locked or not. Anyone?
Thank you!
You can go back and forth between TW 4.4.2 and AOSP 4.4.4. I have done it several times.

If you are with KK you have the good BL. No need to flash last one, it's useless; I'm still on NA6.....

If you have an application (APK on Android device or EXE on computer...), you cannot know if it is unlocked (full functional version) or locked (trial version), until you actually run it.
And the bootloader is also the same. You cannot know if it is locked or not, until you (or someone else) test it.
Isn't it?
As far as I know all N9005 bootloaders are unlocked.
Here is a thread on bootloader/modem update: [GUIDE]For Flashing Baseband/Modem/Bootloader N9005.
Have fun...
