Hi guys, i was trying to delete the cwm backups to free up some space, so I deleted the the folders into clockworkmod. And now i can on longer boot into CWM recovery. It will go to the Google boot screen and stuck in there. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
You have to access recovery through ADB or the reboot option on your custom Rom.
It's a known bug when trying to access it through the bootloader.
Tapatalk made me send this.
isnt the toolkit meant to do this for the user? i read it said u can do this using the toolkit, also how do i do this once in root explorer?
---------- Post added at 03:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:21 AM ----------
am still on stock rom and iv not managed to get into cwm yet as when i hold up and power nothing happens...
iv read this
Q. I flashed CWM but each time I reboot the Stock Recovery is back
There is an auto recovery restore system on certain Stock Android Builds that will reflash the Stock Recovery if you flash CWM on a Stock Rom.
Use Root Explorer to Mount the system folder as R/W (or use a free app from Google Play such as ES File Explorer). Rename the files /system/recovery-from-boot.p and /system/etc/install-recovery.sh. Now when you flash CWM Recovery it will NOT be overwritten after a reboot.
OR you can use the ToolKit to rename the files.

Hi, forgive me if this is a stupid question but after flashing the latest t0lte nightly I have lost root access.
How has this happened?
I've been flashing CM nightlies for weeks but fancied a change after reading up about omnirom.
Im running an international note 2 LTE using cwm, rooted with Odin.
How do I get root access back? Is it case of me having to flash via Odin again?
More than grateful for any help here!
Cheers

Flash SuperSU in recovery
We haven't yet integrated SuperSU into the package itself, and fixing that has been low priority since:
1) You can't flash Omni without a custom recovery
2) If you have a custom recovery that can flash Omni, you can flash SuperSU in recovery
3) Once you've flashed SuperSU, you can go to its Settings->Custom ROM and enable the backup script

"There is no SU binary installed and superuser cannot install it. This is a problem!"
So I am unable to run step 3

Hi
Nexus 4 is going in continous boot loop, this was post the 4.2 upgrade. the bootloader is showing the sleep driod with the red triangle, something is broken.
have tried to install the older version of image but , the moment it goes on line , it says upgrade ready.
how can i do a clean start or is some hard ware broken??
please help , want to keep this beauty going .....
Download the stock lollipop image from google for nexus 4 codename mako. Read all the flashing instructions along with it. It usually contains a flashall.bat, so u won't have to manually flash everything.

What happened exactly? Flashing error, bootloop? A little detail would make it easier for people to help.
Try flashing using nexustoolkit if adb didn't work for you. Bte lollipop takes a long time to boot for the first time so just wait.
