Yes I do - very pleased with it so far, albeit for only a small amount of time.
I didn't want to do my own review etc, just thought I could answer any specific questions for european/UK users.

Is your set branded? If not, perhaps you can check if the bootloader can be unlocked by connecting to the Android SDK's Fastboot tool.
And does it come with a pre-applied screen protector (like the X10)?

No it's not branded - I will try in the next hour to connect to Fastboot.
It does come with a pre-applied screen protector and has a spare in the box as well.

If it is not locked to a network, i.e. did you buy it sim free?

on contract but im hoping we can unbrand it soon

Got mine from Gum Mobile (online)

If you enter *#*#7378423#*#* in the dialer, you can view more firmware info. Mine is running on GENERIC firmware, which is unbranded and unlocked. Bootloader here is R9A021.
Could you tell me how I can check if my Arc connects to Fastboot? Would love to try it out ^^

Wow, I guess no point sticking to the big names. Just rang them and they were like it's in stock in the warehouse but we can't really say when it will be delivered.

From what Gum Mobile told me, they had them in stock for a few days but SE said the release date was the 30th March, so they couldn't send until then.
I'm sure yours will turn up pretty soon!

The UK version from GUM Mobile doesn't support 3G 850 on ATT./ its 900 2100

SMG935F (S7 Edge UAE) Can it be unlocked and used in the UK?

I know this is kind of a noob question but if I bought the SMG935F S7 Edge from the UAE and brought it back to the UK to be unlocked would it work normally with a UK based Sim card? or would there be some other things I'd have to do? Just making sure before I make a silly mistake and it causes a lot of issues but help is appreciated. Cheers.

I haven't bought it yet but I was thinking of since I'm heading over to Dubai soon and it was on sale on an online UAE shopping website so I thought it would be better getting it there and then bringing it back. Good to know it's not locked though or going to cause any issues. Thanks!

If It's SOUQ or a similar online site, just avoid it. Get it from Deira.

S8 or S8+ Demo in London

Hi anyone heard anything regarding demo to see in hand in london ?

Seen the S8+ Black in both EE and O2 in the City. Nice phone and reminds me of my Note 7. Not in a huge rush since we got brushed off this time around. Pretty poor that we get nothing and the US get the VR....

Pretty useless if you already have cover elsewhere like I do with my contents insurance. Would much rather have the VR. I have never lost nor broken a phone...ever. It would be nice to have the option to choose at least. We pay more in the UK and get less, not the best sales tactic.

How do I find out if its unlocked or not? Will VoLTE, Samsung pay work in India? Also, for warranty, is there some way to get Indian warranty?

yes it will work as i m using uae based phone...however samsung pay only works in uae...in india its yet to launch..an about warranty ..it will not..

This phone will work in India with respect to making calls and LTE connection. But VoLTE will not work. Not sure about Samsung Pay because I don't use it.
Also, nothing can be done about the warranty.
BTW I use an S7 edge bought from Dubai in India

Thanks for the reply! Where did you get the phone from, and for what price? Where would you recommend I but it from? Also, are you aware of any other features being different between this phone from dubai and the one in India? Have you faced any problems with the phone till now? And, does the phone have warranty inside UAE or not?

I got the phone from the website souq.com for a pretty low price compared to the market price. Most shops in Dubai usually just increase the price for no reason.
My phone also came with one year warranty (Only in UAE).
My phone is almost 6 months old and I've had no problems at all with the phone. Really happy with it.

Yes you can use it with voLTE and SPay. Just flash Indian firmware on the firmware and you're good to go.

No, there is not a difference. I think it's around 1800 there and for that money it's so value for money. Nothing gets better than this phone at that price. Myself using a UAE phone. Get this model 935FD dual sim version.
And, don't get from souq. Not heard good opinion about them from people who live there.

I'm not in the UAE myself, so will have to ask someone to get it for me. Could you please tell me where to buy it from? souq.com shows price as 1900 AED for 128gb version. Where do I ask my friend to buy it from? And model number is 935FD or SM-G935FTKDXSG? Thanks man!

I bought my Nexus 5 from there and used it for 4 years without any issues. Then I bought my S7 edge from there 6 months ago and it has no issues.
My brother bought his LG G3 from there and used it for 4 years without any issues. He bought his LG G5 recently (around the same time I got my S7 edge) and he has no issues with his device whatsoever.
All these devices from souq.com
The site is good as long as you buy from a good dealer. Since anyone can setup a shop on the site, there might be some people trying to sell bad stuff. Just buy from the trusted dealers and you'll be fine.

I don't think Samsung issues international warranty. My home appliances are Samsung branded which doesn't have and one more using the firmware of UAE Volte will definitely not work unless you flash indian package on your mobile that's why I said no.

Hey are you 100% sure that we can flash Indian firmware on a Dubai model using ODIN?
I am on some custom ROM on my dubai phone but I really want to shift to the latest OREO INS Stock via ODIN. So that I have everything working smoothly including jio VOLTE. Please let me know if you have tried and tested this as I don't want to brick my phone
Also do I have to tick anything special on ODIN? I've been reading about people saying to tick re partition if coming from Dubai model?

Just make sure you buy the international variant applicable to any model of Samsung. Experience wise I usually buy my phone from Sohar, Oman and use it in Manila and didn't encounter any issues whatsoever.
