Hello,
I have a new S7 Edge and disabled Touchwiz Launcher System Apps with EZ Package disabler.
Today I tried for the first time ultra power saving mode, which did not work at all (I think there was no launcher available)
After a reboot, I am stuck at the flashing Samsung logo.
My question: Is it possible to reenable the Touchwiz Launcher with adb so that my phone can boot successfully again?
Which mode could be helpful? Download Mode, Safe Mode, Recovery?
I don't want to factory reset just yet because of pictures which are not backed up on the internal storage...
Please help

So I'm stuck in a boot loop that appears to be caused by an app I recently installed. I found instructions to boot into "safe mode" ie no third party apps but it requires the phone to be booted to a rom.
Is there anyway to boot without third party apps from either TWRP?, Fastboot? or a button combination from phone off?
This seems like it should be easy but ATM it's not.
Thank you in advance.
I don't think you can do much but nandroid backup, wipe all apps, and restore the good apps from the nandroid. If it's bootlooping, can't you just download the 4.2.2 image from Google and use fastboot to boot the the image (not flash. Boot), bypassing any system issues the app caused? Any app that creates a bootloop would have to modify system files wouldn't it?

Hello I've LG G2 D802 32gb edition, it's stock and rooted(without recovery).
I was using this app called "Disable service By WangQi, I re-enabled all Bluetooth services that I had disable earlier, rebooted the phone and it has struck on infinite restart mode ever since.
I barely get time to enter my password and it restarts 2 secs later. It restarts even in safe mode.
How do I backup all user data(photo ,videos, etc) ?
Can I temporarily flash custom recovery and save all my user data via USB MASS STORAGE option (if there any) And then Factory Reset the device?
I've latest 4.4 Kit Kat from LG.
TL;DR , My D802 keeps restarting (not bootlooping IMO) after showing home screen for 2-3 secs, I want to retain my user data before performing a Factory reset, Can I pull my files using ADB from /sdcard/ ?
Thanks!
I dont think its possible to flash a custom recovery in this case, all i can think of is go into stock recovery and use adb sideload and try to pull your data... Once you enter to stock recovery on the first reboot its going to be factory resetted (caution)
Is there a way to copy the data from the internal memory. My phone won't start (out of the blue), it's stuck on the Samsung logo. I tried Safe mode, Wipe cache partition but it didn't help.
I know I should have taken some backups but I didn't. Samsung authorized service didn't help me either.
Phone is not rooted and it's running Samsung ROM.
Search question posted multiple times. But if Samsung failed then its a waste .
Personally I would flash custom recovery and custom rom without wipe .

What I read I need to have USB debugging enabled. I'm not sure whether it is enabled and if not how to proceed.
If you can boot to download mode, flash TWRP custom recovery using odin (pc). After that boot to TWRP and from there you can copy your files to memory card using twrp file manager.
I think I'm able to boot to download mode. I'm little bit worried not to mess anything up (such as delete the internal memory). Is there any step-by-step manual on how to do that? What about that USB debugging?

Does the installation process wipe internal memory? I don't want to loose photos/videos that I didn't backup.
Flashing twrp should not wipe data.
I succesfully flashed TWRP but note 3 still boots in the "regular" recovery mode. What I read Samsung ROM's replace custom recovery with the stock one. How can I fix it?
Do I need to flash TWRP again?
This worked for me:
Before you flash the recovery, untick the Auto Reboot option in ODIN. Then flash the recovery. After flashing in done, reboot your device directly to recovery mode from download mode by pressing Vol up + Power + Home button together. Now you will see the TWRP recovery is booted in your device. Now you can reboot normally and your TWRP will be installed.

Hi there,
I am using the MI A1 for at least 1 year but never faced any issue. But after recent update its crashing all the time and now it is stucked on boot loop mode. I think my device is bricked. I am not sure whether it is because of recent update but its started 2 days after updating. I know I can unlock the boot loader via recovery and flash the OS again but at the same time I don't want to lose my data. Is there any way to recover data from fast boot mode or any other way.
Please note that I was on stable version running stock 8.1.0 version.
Requesting your quick and positive response.
From fastboot mode, boot twrp there you have a file manager in the advanced options and from there you can copy to sd card or directly to your pc
But I guess to install TWRP I have to unlock the bootloader first and doing so my data will be erased. And I don't want to do that. Is there any alternate way to to install the TWRP?
Firstly, I have no back up. My fault I know.
So I installed Riru Core in Magisk, then reboot. I get the warning notice as usual, then it reboots once again back to the warning notice and then boots into Huawei eRecovery.
I have no way to boot into the OS currently, it seems.
Things I've tried:
- using Magisk Manager Recovery Tool to enable core only mode
- using Magisk Manager Recovery Tool to disable the problem module
- using Magisk Manager Recovery Tool to remove the problem module
The same problem is happening.
Starting to get a bit worried now. Hopefully some kind genius out in the interwebs can offer this poor idiot some guidance.
Thanks
PS. How cool is this tab that it has last me all these years. Battery is wrecked now but still usable. Interested in any newer (rootable) devices with similar screen size/ratio if you know any.
Boot into safe mode (look up combo). Then you can boot into normal with all modules off
Hi there Arealhooman, can you elaborate on which safe mode you are referring to and how to access it?
I have access to TWRP recovery and Magisk Manager Recovery Tool currently.
Thanks!

I mean boot into safe mode. Just google the combo for your device. Safe mode disables all but system apps
Yeah, that's not working. Thanks though!
Still looking for a solution....
What happens when you try? Look up the disable magisk adb script. Then use it when device is trying to boot.
The device just does the same process (I get the warning notice as usual, then it reboots once again back to the warning notice and then boots into Huawei eRecovery.)
I have managed to get into fastboot mode - showing:
PHONE Unlocked
FRP Lock
However, I don't see it connected when running "adb devices" command.
Well, turns out all I had to do was re-flash Magisk.
Crisis averted. Off to make a back up now.. haha
