I've got an Android version 6 update(Stock ROM)
But again there is the same problem
It is possible that the problem is hardware?

[Q] I'm on LRX22C but fingerprint says JWR66V

UPDATE: Sorry for my completely newbie question. The problem was that since Android 5.0, I have to be full stock before flashing: that means, unroot and restore the official recovery. Once I did it, everything worked as expected.
================
I am trying to install the OTA of 5.1, but for some reason when I do so, I receive the following message:
Package expects build fingerprint of google/occam/mako:5.0.1/LRX22C/1602158:user/release-keys or google/occam/mako:5.1/LMY470/1783956:user/release-keys; this device has google/occam/mako:4.3/JWR66V/737497:user/release-keys.

Null IMEI when updating to Lollipop

Hello mates, I previously had my brother's ZF5 on a rooted LP firmware (.78 if I'm not mistaken), tried looking for a recovery installer, then flashed the recovery. When I have updated the phone to CM13, I've noticed that I've acquired the 'no camera found' bug. I flashed back to KK and did the root which fixes the bug. Now I've downloaded the latest stock LP firmware (.87) and updated the phone. After system update was finished, I've noticed that IMEI was null, so I basically, cellular features were down. Anyone know how to fix this? I've returned it to KK for the moment so that cellular network is working.
I'm downloading stock JB at the moment, will try if this fixes it when I start from JB->KK->LP.

Android M has different RIL configuration which will be reverted back to Android L if you flash the 5.1.1 custom ROM. After that when u will flash the stock lollipop, the sim card and imei will behave as expected.

What is your present firmware version?
You must follow this sequence => UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-2.21.40.30-user >> UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-2.22.40.54-user >> UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-3.24.40.78-user >> UL-ASUS_T00F-WW-3.24.40.87-user
I am currently on 2.22.40.54, I successfully updated from 2.21.40.30. I can't update to 3.24.40.78, I'm getting an error. Should I flash droidboot and recovery.img from the .zip then flash the .zip through adb sideload?
EDIT: just finished flashing .78 through adb sideload, though I flashed the droidboot and recovery images first from the zip through fastboot.

I've finally fixed it, thanks for the help mate. Do you know a bootloader unlock tool for .87 that won't give a 'no camera found' bug? There are too many tools I've found, so I'm a little wary.

Mate, you forgot to hit thanks....lolz.....kidding......
So far this is the best tool to unlock bootloader: https://s.basketbuild.com/uploads/devs/dgadelha/ASUS_T00F/Tools/BootloaderUnlock.zip
It has the least freezing issue but the no camera found bug is there. For camera bug, there is no fix till now.

I already did mate. The 'no camera found' bug is really annoying. I've flashed maybe 10+ times already back to KK and updated LP just to get the camera back and try another tool. Nothing seems to work. Gah! Flashing to stock and updating to LP is so time consuming.
But hey, thanks again mate! :highfive:

I did not understand you that much, but I tried relocking bootloader when the phone was on LP. The camera bug still remained. Flashing back to .54 and doing this https://github.com/sigo/asus-zenfone-5-root/blob/master/README.md#usage-for-other-systems fixes the camera bug. I really want CM13 on this device.

if you use lates RR build, there is camera fixed, But asus make some zenfones 5, and this zenfones 5 have one problem they are little bit diferent and when you unlock bootloader your camera will stop work (you can found somethink on google) so camera will not work until you will relock bootloader again,
and if your camera doesnt work now, you have bad re-lock, sometimes relock doesnt works, maybe old version, sou try searh there for newer, Gl )
edit: link what you share is for root not anly relock .. so try this: https://youtu.be/_eLtb_w-jxM

I flashed RR, camera shows a black screen but when I tap the capture, it captures a photo, weird. When I tried a third-party app, only black screen. Can I relock bootloader on RR? The root method I included on my post is what I use to fix the 'no camera found' bug on KK .54.

Samsing j5 j500fn recovery mode frozen - resurrection mod

I have installed resurrection mod on my phone, this part is working at the moment.
I followed a tutorial to install it using twrp, however everytime i tried to launch it i would get a pixilated yellow screen and the phone would freeze on the android logo.
I followed this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j5/how-to/6-0-1-5-1-1-bootloader-modem-j500xx-t3566801
Now the phone loads into resurrection fine, however when i try to go into recovery mode the phone has black and white noise at the top like an old TV and it freezes.
I have tried installing TWRP again with no luck.
What should i try now?

I also used their BL and Modem, but it didn't work for me either. So when they ask you (in ROM Threads) to have 5.1.1 or 6.0.1, you'd better flash the whole firmware.

Your problem has solution, but you should give us proper and more detailed info about your issue, which RR rom you were using or people must guess it? Which the latest ROM you flashed? Are you with official TWRP?
C'mon make an effort and tell your specs correctly so any member could guide you.

If you are with marshmallow bootloader you can flash Vince sources based ROMs. Validus by tioguda, Lineage by Vince, RR unofficial by Has.
If you want AOSPExt, Viper, RR official, you must downgrade to lollipop as stated by user above??, as these ROMs are Dyneteve's sources based ROMs which boot only with lollipop bootloader.
