what are the best kernel adiutor settings - Lenovo A6000/Plus Questions & Answers

Hello
Can you guys suggest me some good settings in kernel adiutor app for improving performance i'm using cm 12.1 ROM with telo kernel and if you know a better ROM and/or kernel please tell me

Better use phantom kernel. And look at the forums for good settings.

I'm using Phantom Kernel and I just like to adjusting the CPU and GPU clock based on my usage. On my regular setting I would like to set it up on 1,2Ghz CPU and 450Mhz GPU while using interactive governor. I don't know about other things you should checked the Phantom Kernel thread for more information and see the best that suit on you.

OC Governor

Hi!
I am using TEAM EOS MZ-604 nightly.
Which Kernel does it have?
is it using Tiamat AOSP Kernel 3.0.5?
And i would like to have power save Governor.
How can i contact about it?
someone?
I dont know how can i send message to solarnz or somtin'
They are available in the IRC channel:
asimov.freenode.net
#xoom
You should be able to flash 3.0.5 with that nightly if that's what you're looking for.
The very latest nightly has Tiamat 3.0.8.
We don't have the powersave governor, however the default is interactive. If you're looking for a governor that doesn't clock the tablet up too much, try the ondemand or conservative governor.

Glad to see Solarnz here. I had a question about governors too. I know on my Galaxy Nexus, most of the kernels come with Hotplug and the like that disable one of the cores when not in use. Are there any governors for the Xoom that perform the same function? IMO's learnkernel has HotplugX and (i believe his own) InteractiveX (which performs the hotplug function in addition to being an interactive gov). Why don't we see this sort of development on the Xoom? Not that I'm demanding it or anything. Just surprised to not see more mention of it. Do we not need it? Is our Tegra hardware vastly different in operation?

Trickster MOD settings for Matr1x kernel

Hii guys, Can anyone recommend the best settings for Matr1x kernel(v9.5), I an on Cyanogen MOD. I am using Trickster MOD app.
I flashed the -cm GPU Overclock edition.
I would like to know the best settings for Sound, Display. I have a FAST binned chip, And i would be happy if any one recommend me the best UV voltages.
Thank You.....

hotplugging question

So I installed Kernel Adiutor to tweak the I/O performance and was kinda curious about the governors and all. I noticed that all 4 cores stay on at ALL times. Is this normal behaviour? Why is there no hotplugging? could it be implemented in a custom kernel?
Coming from a Snapdragon 801 which had quad custom cores, it used to have hotplugging to save battery. Thanks for answering if anyone knows

My only guess here is probably the Developer haven't add support for the new'er Snapdragon chip/s?
Been using Kernel Auditor for awhile and I see sd820 reads as single cluster where should 2 (big-LITTLE) . Well just a thought
ok that makes sense, do you know of a kernel tweaker which is updated to work with the new snapdragons by any chance?
I found an app that works, for anybody who is interested, EX Kernel manager works great with the big.LITTLE cores on the s820, happy tweaking!
I'm currently trying out the Interactive governor tweaks posted around the forums

Battery Life on CAF based kernel/ROM. Android 7.1.2

Please correct me on anything that I'm about to post below. I will correct it ASAP. Here Goes:
Here's what I've noticed since switching from a stock based ROM (Viper 9) with using EX Kernel to LOS 14.1 or AICP 7.1.2.
From what I've researched, these AOSP builds are using a MSM8960 kernel on our apq8064 board. It is also CAF based kernel as well. MSM8960 is very very similar to APQ8064. Which is why it works on our M7. APQ8064 support ended on CAF around ICS/JB days (from what I've skimmed in the CAF changelog). I've been researching different tunables on the interactive gov and the Ondemand gov. I'm trying to find the best settings to extend the battery while on 7.1.2. To me, it just dies too quickly with default gov tunings either on LOS or AICP. I'd like for other users to post their settings and which gov they are using while on 7.1.2. I'll post my settings as soon as I find the right combination on either the interactive gov or the OnDemand gov.
Edit: I've noticed that by disabling MPDecision and disabling at least 2 cores, battery life has improved. What I have been doing when I play a game is re-enabling the other 2 cores and switching to interactive gov for better in-game experience. I also set the min GPU freq. to 400mhz. Another tunable I adjust is the sync freq in the interactive gov. When gaming I set to either 918mhz or 1026mhz depending on how much load the app places on the cpu.
I've also been tinkering with L Speed app (root required as well). Enabling a profile caused my phone to exhibit a faulty touchscreen. Cherry-picking the optimizations I want doesn't have the same effect.
Which ROM supports customizable turntables or what kernel? I don't use ondemand anymore, it's always interactive for the CPU and simple for the GPU on my end.
i use a kernel manager like Kernel auditor or EX Kernel manager to adjust kernel settings. With those to apps you must have root.

Yes I have root, but i'm saying do you have a custom kernel?

technically it is. It supports dt2w and s2w. It was linked from the AICP 12.1 Nougat thread

Sm-g950f with ael kernel

Hi everyone,
I'm a new user of this community and only yesterday I've downloaded the EchoeRom and AEL Kernel for my Samsung SM-G950F.
I've seen that the kernel is more customizable than others that I've tried but i have some trouble with Synapse.
It does work correctly and it is fantastic, I'm trying to get the best Antutu benchmark score possible but I can't overclock my GPU
If I set Gpu frequency over 572mhz when I start Antutu, it crashes after a bit seconds and I hate this.
Now I hope that anyone here can help me to set correctly synapse for overclocking my GPU (I've already tried to improve the voltage with some benefit effects but not enough).
