How do you add more clock faces to Mediatek Smartdevice and where can you get them from?

I want to optimize an existing watchface of Polar M600.
I want to do that in the following way:
1. Create new Watchface with my needs
2. Add data from the sensors of the smartwatch
The 2. part is my problem. I cannot find a API to get data directly from the watch to show it on the watchface.
Has anybody experience with that? Is there an API to deal with the sensors?
Question for someone. I have a 42mm IWO 5 smartwatch that I'm trying to add new clockfaces on w/ the mediaTek in Andriod App. When the clock faces are installed and watch indicates installed, the clock faces never appear when selecting new ones, I've tried several clock faces w/ no luck. Is there a trick to make this work, or doesn't the IWO 5 not support extra clock faces. Could someone let me know. I have a watch w/ minnie mouse clock face and want the mickey mouse instead =) Tnx.
Hi!
Anyone use Q90 Smart Baby Watch GPS Tracker?
Can't insert hyperlink, but you can easily find it in google
How can I set watchface for it?
I've ordered one of the countless cheap Chinese MT2502 based smartwatches, the 'K88H Plus' which looks like it's brand new. I was seduced by the great looks but then reading the various reviews the firmware looks pretty common across many of these devices and pretty bad. So then I set about reading the various MediaTek development docs and it seems like the embedded os, frameworks and API's are going to be out-of-the-box MT LinkIt and the UI and all functionality of the watch is actually controlled by one or more VXP's which the manufacturers are including in their ROMs.
Has anybody looked at this in any detail ? Am I on the right lines here ?
So I'm thinking, I'll write a VXP which is a mini watch OS with watchface, built in continuous step counting and notifications handling to create a better overall experience.
Has anybody else tried this ? Can you use the USB charging cable to remote debug the VXP app i.e. will the watch behave like the Linkit Assist 2502 board ? Thanks, grateful for any pointers.
Did you figure this out? Or got any further? Very curious getting into app development for watches with this type of microcontroller (so not just watch faces). Two minds can do more than one! For as far as I've seen, the MRE 3.0 SDK can actually make an installable app, still playing with that.
Tag me in pls ... 3 is better than 2.
I have a problem about build watch face without wear OS, so can you guys help me to explain about references of all development tools for LC112 smartwatch or how i improve that with Android SDK development tools?
mostly no tools for this type of watches. you must make it by yourself.
- get few watch faces via app
- analyze it and investigate watch face file structure
- make an editor
- try to feed your watch app by your watch faces
- if an app will reject your files, you'll be forced to make yourown app to upload it.
or you may try to find tools if someone already complete this quest.
share few watchfaces from your app and app name at first. for understanding what is it.
