Hey guys. After I've restored my backup I dont have taskbar, wallpaper, phone is super slow, dont have lockscreen and etc. What may cause this and what should I do to fix it without loosing everything ? Cant make screenshots also to show you what I mean.

I saw this option on my brothers Desire today when he updated his phones firmware over WiFi, first time in my life I have seen that the phone updates himself Anyway, he has option in settings to make backup and the phone made backup of phonebook, apps, widgets, EVERYTHING and after the firmware was upgraded he got completely restored phone as it was, like nothing happened !! I have tried to find this backup option on my X10 and now I ask, is it possible that X10 does not have that option ???? Is that because of 1.6 vs 2.1 or HTC has made this great option ? If my brother hasnt bought Desire before me I would buy it over X10, thats for sure. Because there is nothing worse for me than get clean original state phone after update.

hmmm wel i dont really know much about that so not much help there.. it could be possible that hes syncing it all perhaps?
theres a program called mybackup that backups alot of the things although i must say restoring apps afterwards is wierd (includes other backup/restore apps) because the app list dont show up in the market 'downloads' category.. so you would'nt even know if there was an update available! only way would be to install the actual apk yourself or via market installation!

I tried Titanium once, and when I try to restore a backup with Titanium, it does not restore my market apps.
So I know this has been discussed before but I cannot find even one answer for this because I do not understand much in android phones therefore I have no idea what clockworkmod is or nandroid is.
I want to get transfer to a new rom with all my apps, themes, info, accounts, widgets, wallpapers, and even my homescreen layout. Is this possible? Please explain because Im a noob. THANKS TO ALL WHO HELP!

Thanks, but what I need is not to backup the apps so I can restore if I F up. But I need an app that will transfer everything to my new rom. Which Titanium Fail to do in the past because it showed my market apps to be grey (This happened in my Rooted HD2)

I want to change my rom at newest version of Revolution HD and it's recommended to do a full wipe.
But i don't want to loose all my data! So, i think to do a backup...
Someone suggested me to try Titanium Backup, i'be make the backup of my apps and system (200 elements) but when i restored it seems incomplete of some apps... I've see that the icons in the various home screen aren't like i backupped in.
And the backup function the the 'privacy' menù? it's complete? it's the best?

I you install a different Rom the Titanium Backup of Apps and System Data it cannot restore the System Data that does not belong on the new Rom.
What you need to have done if moving to a different Rom is to Backup all user apps and which can be install to any new Rom.

no, you can not do that
If you're rooted, you can use Titanium Backup to backup/restore all of your apps.

It´s more easy, install TWRP, make a backup and after install a new rom restore only DATA partition. All your apps and configuration had restored.
