Both metro pcs' lg Leon ms345 and the T-Mobile lg Leon h345 can both be unlocked. The h340n model of Leon is only available in some parts of Europe.
So the answer to your query is h345 and ms345 can be unlocked and rooted.

Hello fellas, I have the LG V20 AT&T phone and I want to be able to use the sim of any network carrier of my choosing and I’ve been told that it's next to impossible to unlock AT&T phones unless you have the stock locked Rom and if I will flash unlocked Rom the phone will be sim free. Would that be correct If that is correct, my question is: Does anyone have unlocked Rom from this phone? At this moment when I insert different carrier sim the phone ask for 8 digit sim network unlock put code. any guide for it or someone with the knowledge to do it or someone pointing towards the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

From my understanding, and at least on Tmobile, you have to ask the carrier for the sim unlock code. Your phone has to be paid off if you bought the phone through the carrier. This is independent of the rom used. Check this out: https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/#/

Since you are being prompted for a actual unlock code.you do infact have at&t and NOT t mobile device with their garbage unlock app and process.simply look for a unlock code for a "lg v20 h910" or "lg v20 at&t unlock "on ebay.all the other cell unlock sites are a rip off. Codes are pretty cheap like 2 bux or so.now if you had a t mobile device you would have had to jump through a lot of hoops to get it unlocked.luckily you dont.

To unlock an LG V20 (lgv20) on AT&T (att) without another network sim:
Dial *#06# on your device to find your IMEI
Get your unlock pin from att.com/deviceunlock
Dial or paste: 2945#*910#
A menu will popup. Choose network lock. Enter the unlock code AT&T gave you.
The phone will restart and be unlocked.
So I got to the unlock screen by entering:
2945#*910#
The 910 is the model number. My phone's Settings > System > About > Hardware Info lists my phone as an LG-H910
So if you're on another network, chances are you could use your model number to get through.

LG G6 H870 Bootloader Not Support For LG developer.. Help!!

Hello friends I have a LG G6 H870 for the Latin American market by the "claro company", when I try to follow the steps: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g6/how-to/official-lg-g6-bootloader- unlock-t3614719
To root and unlock my smartphone LG informs me that the bootloader key is not supported for my H870
The forums that I have looked for only speak to me about the LG method, and my question is?
Is there any other method? Or is there another way to root my H870 and install a rom like the Fulmics room 3.5?
regards

I'm sorry but there is no method atm to root your H870, only European H870 can be bootloader unlocked.

:crying::crying::crying: I can't Believed
Thank you
I bought a Latin American G6 by accident; the seller didn't mention anywhere that it was from that area and I don't know who I'm more mad at- the seller or LG for being so f-ing finnicky with these phones.

LG G6 H870 unlocking bootloader for more bands

Hey guys,
With LG G6 H870 for European market, given there's an official way to unlock the bootloader, does anyone happen to know whether unlocking the bootloader will also unlock more LTE bands (mainly b28)?
Apparently this is the case for LG V30+, but not sure about G6.
Thanks.

Shifting to Unlocked G6 variant and having root?

I saw a few posts talking about shifting G6 h871 (at&t) to us997 or h870, h872.
Is it really possible to shift to these versions and then have the option to root the phone?
