I bought a Huawei Y625-U51 As a cheap Secondary phone, and after trying to flash cyanogenmod on it last week (a version of cyanogenmod not even for this phone, since there is none for it, i tried to get another one) and Bricked my phone in the process, does anyone know where i can find the Stock firmware? I have looked everywhere, on the Huawei firmware page, and looked for hours, but have found nothing but a firmware which is older than the currently installed one, meaning i can't install it.

Hi guys,
I got a Transformer from China a couple of days ago and I was wondering if it was possible to change the firmware to another version?
I have tried putting the WW firmware as a ZIP file on the SD card but after a few seconds I get the android logo with an exclamation mark in it.
Alternatively, is it possible to get access to the android market with the Chinese firmware? I can't seem to install any non Chinese apps!
Thanks.
I wouldn't 100% recommend doing it but should be possible. I ended up accidentally flashing over the WW firmware onto my US version(file was misnamed) and everything functioned perfectly. In fact it seemed to fix my rebooting issues. here is the link to the files, just follow the instructions. If you manage to brick your TF, i am not responsible though.

Was in the same situation and just used the flashable version of Prime on it (1.4 at the time) and lived happily after ever since

This sounds like a better idea!
Hi all.
I bought a Zenpad 8 about 2 years ago. It came with Lollipop and when Asus finally released the Marshmallow update, it bogged down the tablet, so I found this thread here and used the instructions to downgrade back to Android 5.0. The tablet ran much better, and I loved it.
Last month, I dropped it and broke the screen, so I ordered a new (seemingly identical) one from Amazon. When I got it, I saw that it shipped with the Marshmallow update already installed. I immediately went through the steps again to downgrade it, but when I went to reinstall all my apps afterwards, many of them were not available to me in the Play Store. They were listed, but said they were not compatible with my device. So, I did some digging.
Turns out that the model of the new tablet they sent (found in the SETTINGS/ABOUT menu) me is a P01MA, whereas the old one is a P01M. The product listing and the box & sticker for both tablets all say Z580C, but when I Google the P01MA number, it looks like that number is for the Z580CA version (with 4GB of RAM & 64BG HDD...which my device does not have). It's very confusing.
Anyway, the upshot is that I cannot get the new tablet to revert back to the stock firmware, both the manual and OTA updates from ASUS don't work (I've tried every file for both listed tablets - the Z580C & CA), factory reset goes right back to the 5.0, and many of my apps are still listed as incompatible. I'm guessing that the P01M and P01MA are slightly different hardware versions of the same tablet and I screwed up by assuming they were the same devices. I have looked, but I cannot find a RAW firmware specifically for the P01MA Z580C model. Any ideas on what I can do? I'm fine with either MM or Lollipop as long as all my apps work properly. Thanks!
Have a Vibe Z2 pro purchased from China, installed a rom from someone online (now wishing I never done so) and stuck with it for the last two years.
tried to install lineage14.1 but I seem to be getting no where as my current rom is not budging and not allowing any changes.
tried to revert back to the chinese original rom that came with it.... no luck.
Tried various forums here in UK but none seem to be able to help.
Can someone help please??
My current rom is Android V. 5.02 and called VIBEUI_v2_1517_5.245.1_ST_K920_baralajbi
thanks
Hi. I've never really liked the Android version in my Lenovo but I am now facing an annoying issue with Play Store downloads getting stuck and delayed and going to have to reinstall.
At this point I am ready for a root and changing the ROM but I am rather lost in what android distribution are working and tested at the moment as after reading for a while there are some which are only for the Win version. I also see some references to X90L on threads about rooting and installing twrp but I am assumming these would work the same on my F version.
So the question is, what updated current ROMs are working fine and are worth (better than the official one) after root and TWRP on the Android version?
Also, once unlocked and changed bootloader, where can you get the official ones again?
Thanks for any help.

You don't need it if you flash YB via Intel Flash Tool with oryginal rom.
Hi,
a few weeks ago I tried to root my Galaxy A5 (A520F).
But I forgot to turn on OEM unlock.
Then I installed Lineage OS (official built) with TWRP.
I never liked Lineage OS, but it was the easiest to install.
I realized that my sim didn't work and when I looked in the settings app, I saw that my Baseband and Model Number was missing.
I installed the stock ROM that I downloaded from SamMobile (A1 Austria / MOB), but it still didn't work.
Then I decided to install HADES ROM (I never heard of it until that day), but it still didn't show up any Baseband or Model Number.
Then I went to a guy that is very famous for repairing phones in our city.
After a week I got my phone back, but even he couldn't repair it.
I tried it again myself but after a few days I gave up and bought a Honor Play.
My question is:
Is it possible to bring back the Baseband and Model Number (without a box)?
If yes, then please let me know I would try everything.
Thank you!
( sorry for my bad english )

Flash RIL fix for your device after flashing a custom rom. Or get the correct stock firmware from sammobile, flash it via odin, and voilla, your baseband and model number will be back If you want more detailed guide, just reply and ask me.
