S7 Edge SM-G935V (Verizon SD) - Two Issues: Pink Screen & MMS Issues - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Issues 1) When I have auto-brightness on, my screen turns pink but ONLY in direct sunlight. Switch off auto-brightness and it immediately goes away. Anyone else have this issue? Not a big one, but just curious.
Issue 2) MMS only works when I have wifi OFF. I use Textra and have tried going back to Messages+ with no avail. Anyone know a fix for this? My APN is all set up correctly and I've tried all variations.
Let me know if anyone is experiencing these issues!

[Q] Screen Unlock/Wake Issue: Lights turn on; LCD doesn't. Do you have this problem?

I've owned 3 of these so far (on the 4th... let's not even go there for now)
The newest one seems to be fine overall -- but I'm wondering if this is common among other GTs--
Problem:
Turning off the screen, and then quickly turning it back on causes the backlight to start, but the screen remains black until the power button is cycled again.
Here are the conditions under which I've experienced the problem:
GT 10.1, 32GB, Gray
Screen brightness ~40% and 100%
Lockscreen and Homescreen wallpapers set to Gallery image.
It has happened to me a few times, but not often enough to bother me. There was a topic about this soon after the release and I believe the problem isn't very rare.
I'm going to be at Best Buy later today anyway, so I'm going to see if I can replicate the problem on their display models.
It's quite annoying... Could someone try to see if they have the same issue on their retail model for me? It shouldn't be difficult to. It happens a lot, personally.
Ive been trying to replicate it but no luck. not sure if it matters but I've got a pattern lock screen.

Auto-brightness problem, anyone experience it ?

Hi,
I have an auto-brightness issue, when I turn the auto mod on the screen turn all black. I can still heard clicking sounds and when I put the N7 under a strong light ( white leds ) it turn on. So it is definitely a brightness problem. I just fix the level on 25% and everything go right, until I start the YouTube app who magically change the brightness and in the first 5sec of the video the screen turn black again I have to fix the value at 50% for avoiding that.
Anyone experience this issue ?
Any fixe ?
Do you think it's an ardware or software problem?
Thanks

[Q] LG G2 rear LED not turning off

LG G2 rear LED won't turn off. It stays on all the time. The only time it turns off is when I turn off the phone.
I have been using this phone for 3 days and then this problem occurred. It takes a toll on the battery as well.
I have tried turning off the notification LED from display menu and it still stays on. Tried using some apps to turn off the rear LED but no success.
Is anyone else facing this problem? Can anyone suggest solutions for this?
Thank u.
I'm facing this problem as well,
Have you get the solution yet?
That's a strange glitch. The notification led switch is located under both display and accessibility menus. Try switching off one and then the other(they both have the same function and are connected so if you switch off one, the other does as well). If you are 100% stock then all you can do is factory reset and make sure you're updated. If you're rooted and autorec you have more options.

Help, Gmail notifications turning screen on

I cannot figure this out for the life of me. Anytime I get a gmail, it turns on my screen. Never had this issue before even with other galaxy devices. Its happening as if its like one of the stock galaxy devices where they all turn the screen on with notifications. Can anyone help me keeping my screen OFF with gmail notifications? I tried BlueMail but its own built in LED settings aren't working an than BlueMail doesn't show up in light flow. Any help?
Would like to know if there's a solution too. Prefer not having the screen turn on for every notification.
Are you using Lightflow or any other LED manager?
I have this issue as well. Never used lightflow on any of my devices.

ZE552KL screen flickering at lowest brightness level

I would take a video of this issue, but I don't have a good enough camera. It's really, really hard to capture unless you have good video recording tech, which I don't have. :crying:
My issue is that, when I set the brightness to its lowest level on my Zenfone 3, the screen starts flickering. This is especially noticeable with white backgrounds. You can tell that the screen is flickering (perhaps refreshing?) rapidly and it makes the phone painful to look at.
Someone actually created a thread about this issue here on XDA a few months ago, with a video showing this issue, but unfortunately, the video doesn't capture the flickering properly. Here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-3/help/ze520kl-low-screen-light-level-20-t3603502
How to reproduce:
-Turn auto-brightness off
-Slide brightness bar all the way to the left (AKA to the lowest level)
-Open a white background/grayish background or blank page in Chrome
-Screen starts flickering
It happens across the phone, and intermittently. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. In Chrome, in games, whatever. I once thought it could be related to charging the phone, but the screen has flickered on low brightness even when my phone wasn't plugged in, and at 70-80% battery. I might try resetting the phone to see if it's a software defect; I really hope it is.
Turning off hardware overlays in Developer Options does not resolve this issue.
I'm currently on ASUS stock Nougat, unrooted. I can't root right now. I don't have any screen overlays apart from CF.Lumen, which isn't set to come on during the day, when the flickering happens, and I don't use any screen color modes apart from the default settings. I also always have auto-brightness turned off.
Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I might try recording it one day.
Thanks.
Update 1: Removed my 64GB SD Card from the phone to see if that made a difference. It didn't. So the flickering isn't related to power management, AFAIK.
Next step is to wipe the phone completely, including its cache partition from stock recovery, and set the phone up as new again. It might be a hardware issue, but my fingers are crossed.
I've had this issue since I got the phone, ZE552KL. Turning off auto brightness fixes it for me, so I have a feeling it has more to do with ASUS' auto brightness algorithms than anything else.

I always have auto-brightness turned off. I think it might have to do with the ambient light sensor. I've tested it using SMMI and it works just fine. But I wish there was a way to disable it, since I don't need it. I'm kind of disappointed in this phone.
I'm going to try a full reset, and perhaps a custom ROM to see if it's a hardware or software issue.
