Im using CM12.1 and my screen just stays black when I am receiving a call. I cant answer calls so I made that my home button would answer but I still cant see who is calling. Please help

You could try clearing dalvik and cache in recovery mode.

Hi guys.
I have this strange problem.
If I dont use my phone for a while and I go to use it it the screen sometimes doesnt come on. The buttons light up but that is all.
i have tried to call it when that happens and I can hear a ringtone but the phone itself doesnt ring. The only solution is to pull the battery out.
When I switch it back on the call I made to the phone doesnt appear on the call history as a missed call either.
I am using energy rom
Anyone got any ideas?

mine done that, i always use the call button rather then the hang up to wake it up, not had a problem since, hope it helps!
Nice to know I am not alone.
Just been looking at miri's latest rom and apparently he has put a fix in for some people whose phone didnt wake up, so am flashing phone now to see how it goes
Just as an update, been three days since I reflashed with miri rom and no problems.

I have faced this problem twice.....wen ever some1 calls I m not able to pickup calls the screen becomes unresponsive.....I use stock firmware....and its not rooted

Im also facing the same issue... Ive PA rom and matrix kernel installed.
It only happens when my phone is in my pocket and when I try to answer the call, the touch is unresponsive.

I've been having the same problem, and it's driving me mad..
Was anyone able to find a solution?
It did happen to me... All I had to do was to press the power button to shut off the screen. And press again to switch it on.. Be sure you have the option to disconnect a call while pressing the power button disabled... Cheers.. I'm not sure there's any other way other than to install a custom rom.. I don't prefer to.. For such a simple issue..

Yes, that's what I've been doing so far, but I was wondering if there is a way to fix it altogether (without switching ROMs)..

ya it works sometimes only though....
I have a new i9500 that has been working fine but now all a sudden it cant make out going calls - i can recieve calls and i have full data access but when i try to make an outgoing call the screen just flashes white and takes me back to the numpad page.

Try restarting the Phone and in case still does not work try Factory Reset.

Hi,
I have factory unlocked Galaxy S4 i9505.
The power button doesn't respond while I am on a call.
So for example, if i call someone and i want to disconnect the call in the end, i simply can not. Because the screen is black and when i press the power button to light up the screen, it does not light up. When the other person hangs up then the screen lights up.
Even the central big button doesnt light up the screen while i am on a call.
How do i solve this problem please?
It is very annoying, i have to specfically ask other person on call to disconnect the call. I restarted the phone several times but still the same problem.
Please help.

i have LG E615
after upgrading it to 4.1.2 JB (20A.kdz) its supposed to change the incoming call screen to the wipe answering way
but sometimes i get the wipe screen and some times i get old screen with two buttons to answer or decline the call
what i need to know is how to keep the incoming call wipe screen for ever ... i dont want to see the other one again?!!

I'm pretty sure the screen where you swipe to answer only appears when your phone is locked and the two buttons are when your phone is unlocked. I'm not sure how you can actually force one screen, but I hope I've given you some more info. Good luck!
Use espier dial 7 pro. It can change dial, callscreen and contact too
