Hello Friends,
I am facing a strange problem with my yureka , phone is rebooting continuously after YU Logo.
Phone is detecting in the fast boot mode and I was able to flash it using the official cm-12.1-YOG4PAS8A4-tomato-signed-fastboot-a7a306cebd.zip from cyanogen. After flashing it will boot as normal for the first time and when I try to setup my Google account it will restart and then onwards it will keep restarting after the YU logo. If anyone knows any solution for this problem please let me know.
Thanks in advance
Arun
Try re flashing your previous ROM from flashboot n use adb software

Same Problem
Have been using it since more than a year without problems. Two days back it suddenly re-started and kept re-booting at the YU Logo. Absolutely no idea, why. Had updated to CM 12.1 over official OTA six months back. Tried to flash original CM 12.1 after clean wipe in TWRP recovery, same result. Flashed CM recovery, flashed factory image over adb using flash-all.bat in bootloader mode, same result. Flashed latest TWRP, did clean wipe, again flashed factory image over adb, nothing. same result. This is driving me nuts. Don't really know what I'am doing wrong in the sequence. But tried everything I could with all the help described in the forums. Still the same result every time. I even tried to flash CM 13 after a clean wipe, but somehow the phone seems to be adamant in repeating its actions. Like its in a coma or something. Just not responding to anything. The better part is I can get to recovery and bootloader mode. Thats all. Would be really thankful and obliged if someone out here knows the secret for this. Please help.
Thanks to each and everyone on XDA for helping people keep their phones alive for a longer period. I also tried changing the battery for that sake, don't know if it really matters. Still nothing.

Hello, Newbie Here!
So I recently flashed the Resurrection Remix ROM Build 6.8 and Kernel 6.2.
The Build is rather stable and In my honest opinion better than CM12.1 which I was on previously.
So the normal functions of the phone are normal and I feel this is a much stable build. I use a ASUS Zenfone 5(ASUS_T00F)
But I face random reboots where the phone restarts itself and gets stuck at the boot. Only when i try to force reboot from the bootloop screen does the phone restart normally and even that takes three or four attempts. First I thought it was just getting used to the new Kernel then when this started occurring frequently I became more aware that this might just be a potential risk.
Today afternoon, My Phone was literally stuck at bootloop for 2 hours.... Only when I tried to do three-four manual forced reboots by pressing my power key and with each instance entering the TWRP mode and doing a dalvik and cache wipe only then was I able to boot up my phone normally.....It totally drained the battery though. I was at 78% and when my phone finally booted up I was shocked to see just 1% charge left.
Everytime this issue occurs...either the phone is completly stuck in bootloop or goes to the "Android is upgraing your apps" notification and then again comes back to the bootloop.
I have also done two fresh flashes before this as well so I know its got nothing to do with a dirty flash.
I then started googling for the same issue that other Zenfone 5 users might be experiencing but to my shock...No threads on it could be found with the issue that Im experiencing.
Pretty frustrated right now I have no clue what to do.
Donot want to go back to STOCK ROM..It sucks.
Please help Guys!
Hello.
You should try to format system and reinstall the rom + xposed. After that you can format data, cache, internal storage. I hope that it will help you.
And did you have this problem on CM12.1?

I rooted my phone and installed cm13(Exodus Rom) on my yureka plus...but then it was rebooting randomnly
then i installed crDroid cm13 based rom which was working fine then it rebooted by itself and i cudnt get into fastboot or recovery
i somehow found a way to get back into the fastboot nd flashed the recovery
but every time i tried to wipe or mount something i used to get "E:failed to mount /system"
i somehow fixed that
Now whatever rom i flash it gets stuck in its boot animation
it doesnt load up the OS
please help :crying::crying::crying:

cannot recover from this bootloop ..i am also facing the same problem..It suddenly went into loop and cannot switch it on again
Try this.....
I after many trails found a way..just try witching on your phone by pluging in the charger...this worked for me so that atleast it is getting on..
Visit Service Centre once
. For the past few days my phone has been crashing and turning off randomly, when the phone is off the charger. The screen just goes black and Shuts down. When I try to reboot the phone it will get upto the boot animation and then freeze and shutdown again. I have to connect my phone to a charger and then reboot, only then does it fully boot up. My battery is 100% btw.
What I have done so far is:
1) flashed the latest build of exodus
2) cleared dalvik and cache
3) flashed an earlier build (25/07) without flashing XPOSED and SUPERSU. However problem still present.
Can someone help please and tell me what other steps I can take. My phones important to me at the moment as I'm away in Turkey for an internship. It's a really strange problem I can't figure out what to do. Thanks alot
Did you try to go bacm for stock oneplus OS? Try to do a full recovery via the tool it will wipe root twrp back to stock. It may help.
Does it happens with other roms?
hi, i solved the problem by flashing stock oxygen. i tried flashing oxyslim and cyanogen however both of them still had the same problem. Anybody have a idea of why this might have happened? it was completely random, and if it was the kernel then it would have been solved when i flashed the other roms...strange

It could be that te ROMs u DL were corrupted. This happens, thats why is always good yo verify HASH from your dl ROM and HASH from the developers topic
So you haven't read up on the official CM13 thread about the latest unstable builds?
This is the problem that I have with my LePro3 (Int. version). Any help from custom rom developers is welcome, so @darkobas, @villarleg, @mosimchah, @GalaticStryder or anyone that has any idea.
Sumary:
- With any custom rom the device reboots randomly.
- Sometimes it last minutes or hours.
- There is no pattern to reproduce the problem, so I can't give a way to reproduce it.
- Mostly it happens when the device is in deep sleep, but I get some reboots when I was using it.
- It doesn't reboot to system, it reboots to EDL (Emergency mode, aka 9008 mode).
- If it stays in this mode, the battery dies and I need to charge it for ours.
- As its random, I can't get any logcat of what is happening when it reboots.
- If I flash the stock rom or any rom that has stock as base, all works without problem.
Tests done:
- If the custom rom was installed using recovery, I always follow these steps: Wipe /system, /cache and /data using normal wipe or reformating with ext4. All clean installs.
- Roms tested: Paranoid Android, AICP, OmniRom and Resurection Remix. Same problem with all of them.
- To repartition the device I used the QFIL file to low level reflash. Doesn't fix anything. Tested with the same roms before and after and same results.
- While charging it seems that it doesn't reboot.
- Tested with several chargers.
- Tested with TWRP 3.0.3 and 3.1.x (last one).
- I have a backup of OmniRom that mostly works. It reboots to edl once a week, but has other strange problems (sometimes when I have a call, the battery that has > than 30% goes to 3% and switch off the phone, when I restart it has again the real battery).
Resume:
- It's not a harware problem, because is stock roms there is no any problem
- Maybe related with DeepSleep, but not sure.
- Only with custom roms (maybe all of them has the same change that makes my device reboot??)
- QFIL reflash doesn't fix anything.
So, like I said, I'm a tech boy and know how to modify roms, flash qfil and make device folder to build a rom (you can see my posts here). But in this case I'm totally lost. I don't get any clue of what is happening or how could I fix this. So any test, clue, crazy idea or anything that let me install a custom rom, is welcome.
Thanks.
X720? Isn't it any rare version like Elite X722?
* Last time on AICP i had 2 or 3 freezes, but it seems like last 2 builds versions with trouble exc. yesterday patch.
That's correct, X720.
Make sure you're on the 23s firmware
Sent from my LEX727 using XDA Labs
Yes, when I started with this problems, I flashed qfil (20 or 21, I think). And have problems with charge, so I reflashed 23s and 26s. Right now I'm in a modified 26s and works ok. But like I said I can only use stock images
Your AICP was the one that last longer... like 5 o 6 hours and then the fu** reboots again. Paranoid Android lasted like 3 minutes . But it's totally random
Idk why you rushed on US, when CN version is easy flashable (i did guide) with official ROM (from webpage) and stock recovery (somewhere). Maybe some of your files are still wrong?
** I think, better way was flash from 21s to 19s (unlock bootloader) then flash 23s CN and 26s.

I'm almost sure that all the stock versions I tested were CN not US. Anyway, all of them doesn't reboot as the custom ones.
The files should be OK, because if they are not, the recovery will show a message.
Did you ever do a full wipe via fastboot? I once messed up my storage while experimenting, and this was the only method that did the trick. Then fastboot 23s firmware files, twrp as recovery and from there give some custom a try? Are you encrypted?

Also, whered you get your phone from, what rom was on it when you bought it?

No, I didn't try with fastboot, but I try with qfil that is a low level format and I get the same result
And no, I'm not encrypted.
Anyway, yesterday I was charging it and it reboots again with the stock rom, so seems a problem with hardware. I asked for a RMA where I bought it.

Did you ever find out what was the problem? I have the same problems on my x720 bought in november 2017. Since first boot to stock rom, i have these problems. The phone randomly reboots into edl mode and you have to press the power button for about 10sec to reboot normally. Sometimes it makes a warm start. On stock or stock based roms, it reboots more often normally than switching off to edl. But I was not able to find out the problem until now. If I am shaking my phone like a bartender is mixing a cocktail, it feels that there is something loose inside. I think its the battery, based on the weight of the moving object inside the phone. But the phone remains on when shaking... It also happens, that the phone reboots to edl and after rebooting, some configurations were lost and resetted to default, this happens on ResurrectionRemix. On RR it happens another time, that after rebooting to edl and trying to reboot normally, the booting process never ends - reflashing the ROM was the only option. When using the phone a lot (browser, games, facebook, email etc at same time) this strange behaviour happens more often in my oppinion.
So I'm still not sure of a hardware issue..
I have tried to encrypt the phone. Was running on Neuclear ROM. As soon as I started the process the phone starts to reboot again and again for infinity times.
I can go to recovery.
My phone is getting connected to PC also.
I've fully wiped the phone via TWRP then reflashed the phone but still the same. Phone is restarting continuously. Someone please help me ASAP.
How long do you own the phone, and have you ever had a bootloop issue before?
If the age is beyond 1 year and had a bootloop before. It might be a bad board. I had the same problem..

Wipe internal storage too or else flash stock image using qfil.
Try wiping storage too?
Tried many times by full wiping the phone via TWRP but the phone was in same condition. Then reflashed via qfil and it is alive again.
my zuk 1 keep starting again and again non-stop . does anyone know how to solve the issue. thanks
