Morning, everyone!
I'm on stock running Android N. I noticed that the Google clock app has some new alarm tones in there, but obviously I can't fish them out of the root media folder because I'm stock and I really don't feel like rooting just to get those new tones, particularly "Rise", which I think would make for a great standard ringtone.
I was wondering if there's anyone out there rooted, if you could fish the file out for me? I tried Googling it and to no avail. The first Google return had a zip, but after looking at it, the website was misleading and was just giving out Marshmallow tones. Jerks!
Please and thank you!

Okay so I am used to using MP3's as SMS Notifications when I was on Energy's ROM but I recently switched to try out a new rom, well on his ROM as soon as you open the notification the MP3 song would stop playing. I am now running Englencia ROM and it does not. What I am wondering is there some sort of tweak to allow this or an app?
I have searched every where and cannot seem to find a solution to this.
You probably won't find the an answer here. Try asking in the Englencia ROM thread.
Hello,
I already used the search function without a satisfying result. I am too using the SGS as an alarm clock and want to get rid off this annoying sound. The workaround is ok but not more. So I thought I create a mute sound and replace the original one with it. For that I need to know where it is.
Thanks for your help!
in JPU (not sure about others) it's /system/audio/ui/TW_Battery_caution.ogg
I noticed battery full sound is same with default notification sound and changes at the same time. If that is the case, there is no separate battery full sound. What I did was set default notification to silent and set each application (talk, email, etc.) to unique notification sound. Maybe that is not what you are looking for, but works for me. (For both JH2 and JK4)
Hi guys,
thanks! I´ll try it out.
Cheers

Hey guys,
I've been searching for one specific default notification sound of my Motorola Defy+ for a long time now. Since I got CM10 installed I obviously don't have it on my phone anymore. I've never payed attention to how it was called but I thought it would be easy to find it somewhere on the internet because it was the default ringtone right from the beginning, I've never changed anything. So I've watched many videos on YouTube and downloaded like a thousand sounds from different phones but still haven't found the one I used to have! I bought the phone in Australia with Gingerbread on it and it was "sponsored" by Telstra. I was wondering if that might be the reason why it's not a standard android sound and so hard to find! Aren't the default sounds provided by android and new ringtones come with new versions? Or could it be that the one I'm looking for is a Telstra sound?
Now I was hoping anyone could give me some advice in where else to look for default ringtones. Or even better, if any Aussies with a Motorola Defy+ sponsored by Telstra could have a look for me how their default notification ringtones are called. It's pretty hard to describe the sound but if it helps I'd say it's short, kinda bell-like but sound and has a rather high-pitched note.
I actually gave up searching already, getting used to the new sounds that came with CM10. But then I thought there has to be someone who also has this sound on the Motorola Defy+ and could help me getting it back!
Many thanks in advance, I'm looking forward to your replies

Anyone able to help I have tried adding them but don't seem to work. Thanks

Never mind sorted it. Just didn't like the stock OnePlus touch noises when typing and wanted to add some more notification noises. It was only a permissions issue I was having. Thanks

Try re-loading your ROM. This has happened to me and after trying everything but a reload without success.
Hi I have tried this on my phone and the wife's but still stuck with the 5 seconds I have looked on the post forums and there have been problems for ages but not seen a root / non root fix anywhere
I could only get around this with a custom ROM in the end. Now once again on OOS 13 only 5 secong notifications ( I have even added my notifications as root (MAGISK module)) has anyone got any advice for me please ???? ( so sick of switching ROMS just wish OOS could do long notifications)
I need help with notification sound with my OnePlus 8 Pro, especially with SMS messages and Viber incoming chat messages. I have tried all diifferent methods known to me, even clearing the apps cache and data in storage. I uninstalled and reinstalled the apps so many times and still the notification sound I pick does not work. I constantly shift from default sound to none, then from sound to other sound but get the same result each time, no notification sound coming out from my phone. I've done factory resets many times, but I still get no notification sound for SMS and Viber apps. To be clear, I do see the notification popups on the notification panel all the time and all other voice calls, ring tones and media sounds work normally. I need help please!
I have given up with the OOS ROM now , on Elixir now
