[Q] I9505 hard bricked QHSUSB_DLOAD - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello i'v got a free s4 which was not working. I'v connected it with pc and got QHSUSB_DLOAD detected installed drivers and now i can see the device using QPST. Is there anyway that i can unbrick this without JTAG? I saw the thread which can solve the problems but its old and the links are broken.. Any ideas? Thanks for your help...

I think you have a dead boot. It can be fixed since the PC recognizes it, but I don't know if it is possible without pro tools.

About the dumbest thing you can possibly do is watch a VIDEO to find out how to use a computer.
If you can READ, which I will assume you can, since you are here, that would be the best option.
As for WHAT to read.... I suggest that the "search" button might be a good place to start.

pls help me with my htc jade pls. pls. pls...

pls help, i really dont know what to do with my fone. i have here htc t3238 jade 100 (but in the battery pack, it's "160") and the only problem is it's calibration...
i've tried to reset my phone so many time and the phone can't do it... it never goes on the "white screen" mode... then sombody told me about the rom which i really dont know... so please could anyone help me the step by step procedure how to fix this.... i just bought the fone slightly used and i'm not familiar with it... tnx a lot... im having a real big problem....
isnt the T3238 a clone?
The Jade should be a T3232...so you might have a fake.
i really don't know if this is a fake... and if that so.. could you please help me for any solution i should do... please please please...
it's been a while, a user posted the same issue as you did. it was no clone, and I do not know, how he solved his problem.
I know, I have sent him a reg-file with the calibration-data from my phone, but my suggestion was to return it to the service point to get it fixed, as it might have been a hardware-problem.
have a look at this thread, where you can also get the reg-file content:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633831
but the big problem is the being "clone" of my device... tnx anyway.. and i'm still waiting for some help...

Mate, you can try a very SIMPLE Google Search "t3238 problems" and you will see a number of possible results.
Have a look at those, as this HTC JADE thread is NOT really for your Cloned Device.
Good Luck

R.I.P My L5 (Swapper2)

Last night, my phone is broken (hard brick). Besides, I lost my ext-sd card (I had to format.). I used Swapper2 program by making a very big mistake. (Efforts to improve phone.)
Swapping normally supported by CM 10.1 kernel. And I'm sure swap supported. I checked swap by Terminal Emulator command. It shows "swap" word (that are supported).
My phone is not responding. Any button doesn't work. Charging doesn't work. USB to PC doesn't work. (PC doesn't detect normally.) :crying:
What should I do now? Is there anything I can do without sending service?
Waiting for your help guys.
EDIT for more information: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2126363
I followed this link. I applied everything. After I turned off phone it died (Could not open any more.). That's it.
I saw like 100 people getting their phone hardbricked after using the swap thing. That's why I won't ever do that bulls*it.
There's still a way, but you're missing one essential file.

EMMCBLD.HEX from that thread is not for our phone. You need the hex file for msm7x27a.
There's some information here: http://www.anyclub.org/2012/04/how-to-build-emmc-flash-programmer.html, but I have no idea what tool you need to build it.
Just 3 days ago another user had the same problem with L3: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44755592

So I suggest you contact him for the link, and maybe you'll get the required hex file from the guy on Modaco.
Too bad, was looking forward for your tutorial.

Seems very hard. But I'll try. Thank you so much, my brother.
You could also contact http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33813888&postcount=2 maybe he can help you with the hex file.
Also found this, but might be just for HTC: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23078349

You're awesome. I will try when I have free time. I will write here the results.
How did you hard brick your device??
In my old Samsung phone
I would connect USB and then power on device without battery and then reinsert battery and flash ...
I don't know if it should work but it is worth trying ...

You using this link?

It's good
I read the whole post
All the best
And don't worry if it doesn't work ... just send it to LG and act dumb
P.S.-swapper 2 corrupts partition tables only when swap partition is used !(maybe - I wouldn't suggest testing it)

Hello, see this link for the full thread for Isai L22 LG
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2685517
It also has 2 guides to root for 4.2.2 and 4.4.2. Try the dll file mentioned in those guides.
Also Next time ask your Questions in the Q&A forum.

try these things, this is just an quote of what I have found,
USB cable is not broken? Are you connected?
· Do you have installed the driver?
· DLL or thing that is compatible with the tot you are using?
· Flash Tool Are you running with administrator privileges? (You can run as an administrator by right-clicking)
Do you put in · Download Mode? You may have already confirmed, but please try to check the above points.
Somebody with the same problem as you said that he fixed it with replacing his usb cable.

I double checked all of that, I re-downloaded all the files to make sure that the files are not broken or something, I run everything as admin but still no result, same problem .. it says "model information check fail".
Hmm even with another cable it fails but you can still boot normally into the android os right? Sorry if I am also giving some reactions a bit later but your problem only have a couple people with lots of time no reply or good answer. I am now busy with studying for 3 tests next week so when I am done then I will search more for you alright?

Wrong section. This is for the N9005 not I9500.
