Just force stop your selected apps in app manager.

[REQ APP] is there an APP that can tell you which program is accessing the radio?

i have a rhodium. I cannot seem to switch off data, even in comm manager. as soon as i switch it off, it goes on again! Something is using the radio, and I have been through every program I can find to stop it connecting automatically. But still no luck!
I need it off so that I can get blackberry software to run on my device (it gets blocked if anything else uses the radio), so it isnt a question of using an app like NODATA.
So I want to know if there is an app which can show me which program is using the radio.
Help anyone???
If your using Manila try shutting off push internet...
From the internet tab hit menu/data settings turn off push email.
Also check email retrieval settings...I set mine to every 2 hours...
I don't know of any App that will do this but it would be a nice one to have.
Im having the same problem on a Samsung i900 :S
If its actually transferring data then you might be able to find out using SPB Wireless Monitor. However, this wont help if all it is doing is opening the connection. Cant be any harm to trying the free trial though.

How to disable data connection when roaming?

Hello,
On the iPhone there's a single button that enables you to disable all data connections when roaming (traveling international)
How do you do that on the HD2, without having to disable individually all application automatic data updates (like weather, for each email account, etc.)
Just with a singel keypress prevent all data connections?
Thanks
MoDaCo NoData works for me perfectly. Not a single click solution, but working.
Yeah great app

Click to collapse
But no longer available - can someone post a valid link?
I use NoDataInRoaming and I'm feeling good.
It works in different way from MoDaCo. You don't press nothing. The app works automagically.

[FIX] Market/browser downloads over wifi only? Data saver enabled?

I've been having an issue with not being able to DISABLE data saver after initially enabling it. This option is not available under "Battery and Data Manager". This causes your market downloads to load only over Wifi. Same thing with some emails/web dowloads etc.
The fix is: In TiBu, go to the Music app and clear its data. Next time you start it up, it will alert you about data saver. At that point, click Settings and it will allow you to disable data saver. viola!

Don't receive Whatsapp notification when using wifi

As the title applies...I need only to go into the app to see if ive received any.
80% sure that it has nothing to do with the specific wifi that I use but would love to receive suggestions on how to check it in the wifi setting and what can cus it with my phone (I use greenify but they are not set and Hibernate, but let me know if it could be the a setting in the app, that ive may chosen).

App battery optimization issue?

I'm trying to figure out if there is anything besides the normal intelligent control/optimize/don't optimize that could be affecting an app working in the background?
I use Google Messages on both my phone and PC (messages.google.com) to keep from having to pick up my phone a billion times a day. I had very few issues with my phone showing as "Connected" in the web app with my OP7P, but within a minute or two of locking my screen on the OP8P, the web app shows "connecting" and won't typical work again until I wake up my phone and open Messages (waking the phone alone isn't enough).
Messages is set to "Don't Optimize" in the app settings, just like it was on my OP7P. Is the 8P more aggressive about letting apps stay awake?
**EDIT**
Google Messages is the number one app under "detailed usage" at 11% for the day, so it's definitely not for lack of running. Maybe it it's just an issue with the app on this phone.
I'm using mine now, Mac though, but it works from home too.
Haven't changed any settings for battery optimization.
Forget computer on messages for web.
On phone, force close, clear data, uninstall app.
Reboot.
Reinstall app, reconnect to g messages via QR
Also im using the app not the web version, seems to work better.
