Hi, i will start first explain the situation. My Nexus got some water in it and it started to act strangely, by strangely i mean wouldn't turn on or start right in the boot menu, without booting the os. Now it starts only in boot mode and it say's that it doesn't have anything to boot (which made me think that the os became corrupted and cannot boot it anymore). The phone had android 4.2 it wasn't mod-ed or anything. I want to mode it but it's impossible to activate USB debugging mode... which leads to my question: Is there any possibility to activate debugging mode or to mod it without it?
If out got wet it's probably not going to work. But try flashing the factory image in fastboot

I guess the only thing for you to do is to jump into fast boot and just flash a factory image from here.
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
Look for an image under 'mako'
To flash a factory image check out the guide here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/how-to-how-to-flash-factory-image-t2010312
But then again, since your phone got wet, there's no guarantee this will actually work.
Good luck!
Hi all
First of all sorry for asking this question but after search for hours I have come across no answers.
My device wont boot, it gets stuck on the LG logo. I also cant seem to boot in Download mode to restore back to stock. The device in a G2 International and is unlocked. I have installed PC drivers etc but will not work. I turn off device completely, even tried disconnecting battery on mother board, and pressed up to boot in DL mode but it will not work just boot into LG logo again. Now i CAN get in the restore hard reset screen by pressing power and V down but it stays on the device restore screen after I have pressed power button a couple of times. Also PC will now see device when in this mode either.
Any help or pointing in the right direction would be a lot of help.

You didn't specify if you were using a Windows PC, or a Linux OS. A Linux operating system could see the device even when Windows doesn't. Using Linux and the ADB toolkit - I would push a custom recovery to the device and then reboot into the new recovery. After that it should be easy to mount the device and install a new ROM.
Ah! Reading again, I see "installed drivers", so you must be using Windows. Try using Linux.
Thanks, so I tired the unbrick method of short circuiting the mother board and then using linux to see the partions push aboot, boot and laf img this allowed me to boot into download mode and then using flash tool to flash a UK based 4.2.2 ROM the device is now working perfectly. Thanks for you help. MOD you can close this thread now.
Link for method I used here.
Okay so yesterday I Soft-BRICKED my Note 4 (SM-N910T) by trying to reboot into recovery with a app called "reboot into recovery".I didn't have a custom recovery installed so now it wont boot not even into stock recovery. It goes to a black screen with the android saying "installing system update". PLEASE HELP i would try to boot into download mode but my home button is broke and my phone isn't recognized by adb or my pc
Will a usb jig work?
The screen looks like this but most of the time it only shows black but for a half a sec it shows installing update

I'm having an Asus Zenfone Max ZC550KL - MSM8916 - 2GB RAM model mobile.
it got into an problem like it's boot loader was locked.
the device was stuck in an problem like after two hours only Asus boot logo was showing up. if i restart the device it's again restarting to blank screen and after two hours its showing asus logo
not showing battery symbol also. not booting to recovery mode.. download mode and CSC mode.. tried all.
after two hours when the logo shows up it connects via fastboot and asus flashtool
trying asus flashtool it shows cant write to flash storage... trying fastboot commands it shows bootloader was locked.. so all flash commands was not allowing.
help to resolve the issue. all errors are like FLASHING PARTITION IS NOT ALOWED...... OR OEM UNLOCK IS NOT ALLOWED.
i cant use the official apk also for unlocking as the phone doesnt boot inside.. fastboot enable ADB is working.. but the logo becomes scrambled in screen and it reboots.. ADB not installing
how to i get this problem solved. somebody help me.
thank you.

Before all these started happening, did you or anyone flash any firmware on the device? Sorry I'm asking so many questions, but i need to get a clear picture of what's happening so that i can suggest a solution.

Before giving to service center, device was booting to home screen, csc mode, etc ? I have a feeling your device might just be hard bricked.

okay
I'm having almost the same concern, however I think I'm stuck in a Fastboot loop, when I open my phone it only says "CSC Fastboot Mode", also when I connected it through the Asus Flash Tool,it says that my phone is about -1%
You mean the device is not booting into home screen or what ?

My phone is stuck on the screen with the big orange exclamation point after trying to flash using fastboot boot twrp-3.3.1-1-fajita.img and now I can't get anything to get it to turn on. Is there a way to fix this?

Shut down your phone, download msm tool and go to wipe it using it. Will make your phone go to a locked bootloader state with stock Android version

I know this doesn't help you now but the version of TWRP that you flashed is not compatible with Android 10. You have to use the latest unofficial builds from mauronofrio.
Actually, you can exit that mode and force reboot with pushing 3 buttons simultaneously until it reboots.
