I have an Indian variant Note 4 running marshmallow 6.0.1 with the latest updates.
I'm experiencing an issue related to microphone.
When my phone boots microphone works fine but if i don't use my device for some time like 2-3 hours then i could use microphone only for voice calling but not for internet calling(WhatsApp, fb messenger,Skype, etc) and for recording audio or video. Also cant launch okay google with hotword during this time and unable to give voice commands. Then when i restart the device microphone starts working completely fine for all these.
help guys.......??

If you are in Stock rom just boot into recovery and do a factory reset (this will delete all the apps and data )

Then it's definitely a hardware defect you may go to the service center and check
