One Rom to rule Them All?

Which custom Rom for our beloved H7 is youre favorit? Or maybe stock is your favorite? I just thought we could have a post talking about pros and cons of different ROM? We could start by asking, which config(sotospeak) do u use?
I myself is right now using Warrior bootloop team's v2,1 with emui 4.1, I use both viper4android and Dolby atmos cause v4droid makes sound delightful and atmos rises the volume level
I don't use exposed cause I can't see why, anybody care to explain what we need it for when emui is so costimizable?

Im currently using the DigiRom 4.2 and till now i really like it!
Xposed is also already integrated and other nice features too.

I'm using DigiROM v5.0 BETA, as its in a testing stage, and only available to me.
Will release it soon, once all the bugs are solved.
And I don't use any Music mod, or Xposed, but for Image Enhancer in DigiROM I have to include Xposed in the ROM itself.

I'm using MM+Kang EMUI 4.1 by WBT ( v2.0 )
The best score for all custom roms
Don't need xposed with amazing Ksettings (can tweak everything on your phone)
Speed and smooth (DigiGoon kernel inside)

Yes that's a pretty good setup as MM+Kang has the highest score on AnTuTu with DigiKernel v1.1. I will try this setup once I get completed with the ROM.

I've been running WETA and so far its running great. It has an aroma installer that lets you install the mods that you want and leave off the ones you don't so you can keep it close to stock.

I prefer running using Magisk v6 with the viper4 addon but Numbers is excellent as well, just waiting for WETA to support Magisk a little more cleanly before I head back to it. But if you don't use Android Pay or similar or for some other reason care about Magisk then WETA will get you up and running REALLY quickly with a great Nougat build. And it works fine with Magisk to a great extent, just a couple minor picayunes that I'm hoping will go away with time.:good:

Arise is basically Viper with Dolby Atmos. Tbh Viper is too much for me, as long as Dolby is working on stock N that has enough of an effect ,'m good to go But if you look back in the Arise thread, maybe back a week or so, i made a post saying that I finally got Viper/Dolby including SPEAKER See Speaker was something I was struggling to get to work on stock N with things like Spotify, play music, YouTube, even notifications, and some other things... basically every sound that comes out of the speakers except phone calls, unless it was via Bluetooth. Bluetooth was working overall, headphones were working overall and I even somehow found out locally stored music was working with speaker, but not those other things I had previously mentioned, was so weird. And of course it made it even more confusing bec some N users were saying it was fully working and others were in my situation.
That was until I found a post by user @SixFourSix he said to add/edit this certain file in system/etc . I went ahead and did that and after weeks of struggling, I had finally figured it out thanks to his tip. Everything was working with Viper and Atmos, those things I mentioned, except for one thing, phone calls, with Bluetooth I'm pretty sure it has an effect, but anything else with calls, for some reason, no. Don't know why. And I hadn't seen anyone comment on why. Maybe Arise isn't supposed to do that.
Yeah so go back to my posts in the Arise thread if you'd like, you'll see exactly what I mean.

Just did a second ago. Everything working perfectly. It looks like it flashes 3 apps. I used the Viper atmos one and it is working for me. I installed busybox too. I also flashed EX kernel today earlier, not sure if that matters

I'm trying to get Viper to work with Magisk,
I tried the zip from the magisk modules thread but it's asking me to install drivers at launch (which I didn't). Also tried selinux to permissive and force v4a, but didn't get it to process the audio. I also freezed music fx, but still wasn't getting anything.
I was running a song from SoundCloud to see if v4a was working
How did you manage to make it work with Magisk

THX for sharing, but are you sure that you provided it in the right forum ? (z5c ? ) The earlier versions of this MOD didn't work optimal on z3c - mostly the lowest loudness was too loud and some other problems....
For those who are interested in another SoundMod [V4A] have a look here -> Viper Uner 5.1.1 Moly's AIO solution it worked perfectly - but with SLIMM 3.8 i haven't tested it yet...

When I used this on my Z3C, was on slimm 3, Worked fine - if you know what you are doing the EQ's can be amazing.
But for myself i do prefer just one mod - if that, Just thought the community would benefit from this

no wipes? can you post some screenshots of the mod?! Also, is the sound on headphones (I'm using Sony MDR- EX 110 , best ones for me) louder than stock MM?

The answer to all sound good !!!

It's either I did something wrong ( I just flashed the Xtreme.zip file) ,or the mod isn't compatible with Z3c...my speaker was horrible as well as V4A didn't work on my headset(mdr ex-110)...

Just flashed the zip. Then got "XTREME Music" & "VIPER4AndroidFX" apps in launcher, VIPER app asked to install driver did that too.
I am using only the XTREME app, it works well and remembers configuration for internal/bluetooth/headset.

No media sound at all SGS8 (SM-G950F)

Hey everyone! I am new here and not really experienced, that's why i really need your help with the following:
I've rooted my device with TWRP & Magisk (by following this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbFDv8Ii7PM)
Everything went smooth without any problems.
After that I tried to install Viper4android and that's where the trouble starts.
(I followed this guide to install Viper4android: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8+/how-to/root-install-viper-android-galaxy-s8-s8-t3596933)
Now I do have it installed but any media sounds do not work at all on any app with or without headphones.
Rebooting or factory resetting does nothing.
My guess that it's something with audio_effects.conf or soundAlive_51 but can't know for sure.
Please help a desperate soul out :fingers-crossed:
Edit1: Interesting... media sounds works if i listen to music via chrome for example, also it seems that it works with games and audio files that are locally on the device, so basically sound doesnt work with youtube and spotify (the ones that actually matter) help?

I'm having the same issue I think. Tried to flash viper, but it didn't work, so I re-enabled soundalive. It has been working fine for several weeks, but suddenly media sounds have stopped. I still get text message alerts etc, but no sound using youtube, or VLC media player playing local files. If you find a solution, please post it.

Then delete your currently installed version, also delete any viper mods from magisk.
Reboot then flash this

Remove stereo speaker mod and flash the zip through twrp. Then it should work

V4A working now.
But I dont know setup in V4A for loud sound

Works best with headphones mate unless you have a portable speaker or something similar

Can viper4fx be installed on stock rom?

I want to know if viper4android fx is working on stock rom and how good it is?I want to unlock my device just to install this as output via headphone jack is not good.
