Hi,
Today I have tried to change the rom to 6.0.1 and I have tried several roms and in all of them I have no internet connection. I have tried several modems and no one works. I have tried to put apn manually and automatically but no luck. I have network, and I can do and receive calls, but no internet. I have tried different roms, turn on and off the data and airplane mode, reboot the phone...
I don't know what more to do. In android 5 it work's ok. Any ideas? What I'm doing wrong.
Sorry for my english and thank's a lot

Hi.
I'm having trouble with my data connection. I was running franco r86 and flashed harsh kernels boot.img and since I've not been able to get data connected. I've tried to wipe cache/dalvik, change kernel/rom, flash the stock images (both android 4.2.1 and 4.2.2), reset APN, manually add APN, turning radio off/on in the *#*#4636#*#* menu, tried another sim card (same carrier tho). GSM works so I can make calls, but GPRS serivce says Connecting or Disconnected :/.
As I can see it, it can be software/settings or hardware fail when I plugged it into the computer to flash the boot.img (, that seems unlikely).
Any ideas? Thanks.
Edit: Got it working after selecting my APN like 15 times. Odd, but true.
Hi. In turkey they do not allow foreign phones, so i stayed there for week and changed my imei through xposed module called IMEI CHANGER. After that i couldnt register on network, so i stayed there without 3g for a week, only wifi. But yesterday i returned to my country put in my sim card, can receive calls and sms. But no mobile data. I flashed different modems, flashed back to stock, but nothing. If someone has cure please share

Pardon if it`s obvious, but did you make sure the APN settings were correct again?
Yeap, that is one of many things i`ve done to get mobile data back
Guys, please help. It`s been 3 days i`ve tried many ways but still no progress. Flashed nb1 stock rom. Tried different modems to access to service mode, which i think problem is there somewhere. When i press back and then input 1 it says menu does not exist. On some pages guys say that its modem related so flashed mf3 and mk2 modems still nothing. Please help. Everything works but no mobile data
I have flashed Bliss rom and cant get a signal (voice or data) on vs980. (Also tried Resurrection with same results) It starts off with no signal and then after a few minutes says no sim card. I tried to change the APN but it says APN settings are not available for this user. Did a completely clean install. I am not using it on verizon, but a small regional carrier. I had it working on Verizon and then switched to the regional carrier. I had it working great until I did a clean install. While troubleshooting, I flashed a stock firmware rom and can get that one to work once I input the APN, which it lets me do. I tried restarting multiple times and no change. I have look through past posts and have not found an answer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
hello guys,
sorry for my bad english
need some expert help
i have a p8 gra-l09
emui 4.0.1
build gra-l09c432b390
since a couple of weeks i cannot place or answer calls (since build b200, it was working before)
tried with 3 different builds
tried with 3 providers, same issue
in fact the phone can only connect to providers with 4g, it's impossible to switch manually to 3g/2g settings, no networks detected
so i think as the phone can't switch, is unable to connect to audio call
with 4g network i'm able to connect to internet, and sending receive sms too
did you already heard about this kind of issue ?
thx a lot for you help

I'm in the exact same situation. I tried to rollback from b390 to b170, b200 but it's the same (stock rom).
I tried to flash the modem/radio but I can't : FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
Any idea someone ? I'm getting desperate

guys did you manage to get this resolved?
Hi again. I have sort of figured something more out about the problem. This morning 3G did not want to work again. So I googled, and googled and googled. Tried everything basically. Then I noticed that my APN settings are not what they were last time I set them(???). So I went into my carriers website. Set the correct apn values and removed any unnecessary values that did not seem to affect anything. Then it immediately worked again. Now I have no idea how phones sets the default settings but it seems like they are wrong? Maybe this was just random that it started working after applying the correct settings again. No idea, going to see if it works all day or if it randomly stops working as earlier.
Edit: 5 hours later still works and the connection hasnt stopped randomly.
Ok so it has worked for 13 hours. It's actually weird if the APN settings for 4g broke the 3g connection sometimes randomly throughout the day, right? I don't know how apn settings really work but I remember setting a port number and also changed the name of the APN so that I can be sure it does not change to something else.
Hello!
My Oneplus 5 does not connect to any wifi networks. It is able to see all wifi networks in the range, and is also able to save the network if the password entered is correct, however, it won't actually connect to any network that is saved. I have tried using advanced options while connecting to a network to change from DHCP to Static settings, but it still won't connect to any network. I have also tried changing the wifi band frequencies (2.4 and 5 Ghz individually) to connect to a network but that too does not help. Mobile Data and carrier signal on the other hand work flawlessly, and so does bluetooth connectivity, NFC and personal hotspot (which is why I am very confused). I should also mention that when it fails to connect to a saved wifi network, it occassionally displays "Disabled" under the network SSID (replacing "Saved").
I have changed 3 different ROMs (LOS, stock OOS and No Limits ROM, even replaced the stock kernel with blu_spark r69 when I tried using No Limits and stock OOS to try and see if that fixed the problem), but the phone just won't connect to any detected/saved network using any of those ROMs. I have reverted it fully back to stock now (OOS 4.5.14 and stock kernel and stock recovery) and am still having the same problem.
Sorry if this issue has been solved before and if I am reposting something, but I really need this fixed ASAP and am not able to find a working solution after searching the forums and googling the whole day. Please help me! Thanks!
Edit: finally fixed the problem thanks to Ivints and PeterGuru. Check out the post that Ivints linked below (especially the comments in page 2 of the same)

Thank you so much Ivints! I'm trying to fix it right now with the solutions I got from the post.
I'm having exactly the same problem that the guy who started that post had. I'll let you know when I fix it and everything goes well again! Thanks again, bud!
if you want to stay on Nougat look for the O2N revert flash file it's in the Oxygen 5 beta threads that will let you get back to a nougat based rom.
The Oreo update touched other partitions outside of /system so those wifi drivers don't work with Nougat anymore

I see... I'll look for that thread and get the flash file! thanks! I'm currently using xXx's No Limits 9.2 OB03 ROM with bluspark 3.2.1 recovery and bluspark r77 (Oneplus 5). The only reason that I feel like reverting back to Nougat is that I want to be able to use Xposed again. So i guess I have that option in hand not too! Thanks, bud!
Hello there my friends, i have a problem with my op5
its about wifi: it doesn t see my wifi anymore. idk why
it s been connected to this wifi 2 years ,even after switching roms kernels, firmwares
and now , it doesnt see the wifi no more, actually it sees it, in `Saved` section, but when i press on it to connect
it says ` not in the area` but my other op6 its connected no problem
and i even tried through qr code, it says ` check ur connection and try again`
Just one add-on cause I was just a few minutes away from formatting my data. My OP5 unlocked rooted, rest stock, wasnt connecting to my home wifis (2,4ghz and 5ghz). I flashed a full ota zip. I deleted wifi bluetooth via backups settings.
But I found out that connecting to an iphone hotspot worked. So I entered manually the network SSID + password although the same network name was already in my wifi list (with marking: "saved"). I then clicked on the second "new" same wifi and it directly connected to my home wifi. Same happened to the 5ghz network. I then deleted the old 2 ones.
I have no idea why this happened, I only tried to get VoLTE/Wifi Call running with the magisk module. This might changed sth but I dont get the connection here since there should be no interference...
