Hi guys,
I bought the X Play because it's as stock as it gets, so I don't really need all the Moto Apps.
So I'm wondering which of them are safe to disable and which I should keep on...
Any clues?
Noone bothering with the Moto Apps?
The phone is very great one because of the very few Motto apps that work very well and adds very good added user functionality?
With the way this phone sips power, I can leave everything, exspecially google services, enabled and not worry about running short on battery.
I just left moto voice active and everything goes fine.
You also disabled the things like moto gsm?
I'd also like to know which Moto apps can be safely disabled / removed. Has anyone experimented with this and can give a full list?

I bring to you this port made by Alberto97 to our best phone of Z line, Xperia Z2!!!
I've noticed that the image quality is superior than the Sony Camera App but it only works in auto mode.

It's because you're on lollipop, you need to be on MM (Marshmallow).
In the post I mentioned that I've using a ultraslim rom, I recommend it. And then you can try the camera.
Still need to do some more testing, but the Moto app seems to have a touch better focus. You can also use the 20MPX Superior Auto Xposed module, which gives me some food results using this. Just missing some of the low light features of stock Sony app, but I'm thinking of using this as my app for better lit shots.

Finally there's a possibility for the eye-popping MIUI for Moto G 2015-osprey
So before I do any porting project, I want some testers. As, I don't own the Moto G 2015, so testers are important!
Who are willing to test MIUI Lollipop for your device!
WHO are willing to soft-brick their phone (it may happen, but you can fix it bruh!)?
Mandatory for testing:
the OSPREY MOTO G 2015 (duh.)
Computer/ External SD card to possibly backup stuff and to be on the safer side
A Human brain (please, no robots testing )

Ok, please dont quote the whole post it creates a mess!
and remember while flashing in twrp have patience...........its pretty slow there....
and wait more than 20 minutes to check if rom boots! 80% changes are it will boot

Wipe system,data,cache and dalvik cache then then select miui zip to flash,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i myself tested this zip on my other device ..Therefore,No updater script errors!
Is there something I should do except for the steps mentioned in the OP, if I'm running official CM13?
I've heard that there are issues when downgrading(?)

Bro, good and bad as expected, the great rom, but there are bugs. RIL, Wifi, Bluetooth, camera and settings can not enter the menu. Way to leave the link of my screenshots.

EDIT: +No sound recorder application and appointment: that some other application that uses the microphone stops to record
The ROM is booting.. Took about 15 mins in total... WiFi ril BT torch music playback setting app aren't working. .. But the good thing is it boots .. Thanks for the huge effort. BTW its miui 8 not 7 ??..

Lmao......Thanks for reporting i will revert it back to miui 7 as that settings app bug is from miui 8 whereas in miui 7 it works

As of now it's necessary to revert to MIUI 7 cuz settings not FC in MIUI 7...problem is with MOTO kernel and its ROM .....but this bug of FC on opening settings>security is coming on another ROM also which is zenui (asus zenfone ui) it boots with same bugs....settings>security FC

I don't know what Motorola did... But they are hiding something in /persist partition and I'm not clear about that and this is my first MOTO device ....I want any dev of this device to come forward and help me Asap !!!!!!

Latest g5 version was updated February 24th, 2017. Here it is directly from my g5 plus.
Please keep me updated on the progress.. just curious how it goes since the same method should work on custom roms here.

For your information custom ROMs already have this with extra features like you can set certain actions.... But not moto actions apk. It's under settings/gestures

Hi what ROM has that functionality? I am running Resurrection Remix on my G5 Plus and there is nothing similar in Gestures to the one button navigation in the stock ROM.

Hi man, almost every ROM has this feature. If not every.
Its under settings/ gestures/ fingerprint gestures.
Enable it and set the gestures on the options below.
RR is bugged and has no left swipe gesture.
But lineage(i'm using) and some other roms i have used are fine.
You can also hide the navbar after setting the gestures.
I edit the build.prop file, add this line "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" without quotes at the end of the file
but there are easier ways to do that...
I will try to install moto actions con muy g5 plus RR and see what happen

You guys are silly. Moto actions apk...only works on stock Motorola phones. Period. Not on custom ROM moto phones and not on other non moto phones.
