Hey guys I am trying to locate the file so I can increase the vibration intensity when I press the back and recent button my s6 edge plus running rooted 6.0.1.
This is a location for an older version of android framework-res.apk\res\values\arrays
but just wondering if someone knows the location in marshmallow so I can do this change.

idk what happened, i installed a notification bar theme, and suddenly haptic feedback on stock messenger app is WAY low. in fact, ANYTHING i type, the haptic feedback is way low. vibration strength is up all the way, also in nottach xposed its up all the way, its just when i type its almost NOT THERE AT ALL.
any thoughts or hacks? i remember with the atrix i could crank it way up; i like strong haptic feedback dammit.
I didn't use my phone for long before updating to N910W8VLU1ANJ3 from whatever was stock, but I noticed recently that the vibration and haptic feedback intensity is much less than I noticed out of the box. I remember remarking that the vibration and haptic intensities (turned up all the way to max in the settings) was actually far too strong. I'm not sure at what point things changed, I hardly have any apps installed, power savings are all turned off, but now with the settings maxed I find the vibration weak at best. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I try a factory reset? I'm thinking I should root and get going on some custom ROM's, but I haven't been too impressed yet with what's available for the non-US Snapdragon Note 4. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

there is no solution for that simple problem in any forum in the internet. and nobody talk about that problem, even samsung itself doesn't seems to work on a fix, its like samsung doesn't even know that problem.
everyone knows that the galaxy s5 have issue beening in the pocket While geting new Notification, because the screen is turn on and it's unlock the lockscreen by itseft inside the poket and you can suddenly find out that it sent SMS by itself in the pocket or call someone by itself or open google maps by itself in your pocket without even noticing!!!!
This is a huge screw-up of Samsung !!!!!!!!!!!!
in kitkat 4.4.2 it was only the Default SMS app that turn the screen on when new message arrive, but now in Marshmallow 6.0.1 - Every ***king app turning the ***king screen on, and there's no way to turn this thing off!!!!!!!!!!! even if i have root access!!!!!! nothing!!!!!!!

i just want that the screen will stay off While getting new Notification !!!!!!

Ambient display might be your issue turn it off it is in settings menu

TNX for trying, but I don't even have that option in the display settings. There's no toggle to turn on or off.

I've experienced the same problem but able to solve this problem by installing Ambi-Turner(Ambient Display) can install from Google playstore for free ignore any purchase request the free version work the trick I hope it helps your situation
I'm on the Hong Kong version which just got 7.0 update from yesterday. I've tried wiping cache and turned on sounds for apps (although I keep the sound on silent at the system level) but there's no notifications via the light.

Turn on LED notifications. Go to Display>scroll down to LED indicator.

Thanks but I had it on already. However I turned on notification reminder and it seems to work but with slightly different behaviour to the previous version of Android. Eg the rate of blinking is incredibly slow.

Hello guys i have the s7 edge with the last update of android 7.0 nougat my device is rooted. Well, when i put my finger on the top of the device where the selfie camera and the speaker exists the brightness is getting low. If i let my finger the brightness is shinny again. I have already turned off the auto brightness no fix. Already tried to reinstall the firmware same problem. Looked on the settings for screen to change some but nothing changed also. My phone never get down . Its not damaged. How to fix this annoying issue pleaseee????????
