Whenever I try to update or download an app the play store downloads the necessary files and then instantly chrashes. The only message I get is "Google Play Store was closed". Afterwards I can reenter the Play Store without problems.
What I already tried:
- clear Play Store cache and settings
- delete Google account
- reboot several times
My device is running stock 4.2.1 with Play Store version 3.10.10.
Please help me :crying: Thanks button instant hit guaranteed.
I know you said you cleared your play store cache but did you also force stop it and clear all data as well? Try clearing data and force stopping Google services framework

No, stopping Play Store, clearing cache and stopping Google Services Framework couldn't fix the problem. I then tried to reset the Store to the factory version (3.9.17 I think) and wooosh updates are now working again :good: A bit panic was left that the Store App will get the same problem again once it updates itself to 3.1.10 but apparently it still updates perfect.
Ok I keep on getting the error unfortunately google play store has stopped. I have gone into the application manager and cleared cache and data then opened up again and press ok and same thing. Deleted the app and then reinstalled and again I still cannot log in. Tried going into Google Play services to uninstall updates but its greyed out and I cannot click on this.
Not sure if app Lucky Patcher is messing things up on phone? Running Versions’ 5.0.1
Any other options?
After using Titanium Backup Pro I backed up all my apps correctly and then started to Freeze one app a day and checked with my other apps to make sure everything is fine then rebooted several times throughout the day. At the end of each day I uninstalled the app....Until I came across "google play services" . Well after I deleted it some other apps started to fail to run stating that "google play services" was not running. So I tried to reinstall it and it appeared to install However my other apps still do not run saying that there is a fault in "google play services" . So I tried to reinstall again with just "app and data" then I get a warning saying "Unfortunately Google Play Services has stopped" . So what am I to try at this point in time ?
If you can't get Google play services to install again correctly, flash the same ROM you're running over the top of this broken one, and don't freeze needed files like G P Services
So basicly my google store stops working every time i click install on any application. Its like it crashes.I rooted my phone and blocked some applications because i thought i dont need them like KNOX and google movies or whatever.I had problem first that google play store was unable to connect to server.I changed this with etc folder changin some ip or whatever. But in the process one of the steps was to delete google play store and reinstall it so i did this then reinstall everything was good untill i tried to install a new application. The problem is not in proxy nor VPN i reset the phone with fabric settings clear chache, data on services store and framework , logget out and in on the google account enabled download manager and all the popular steps there are.I Think i screwed the google play store by reinstalling it and the system files and i dont know how to fix it.As i said my phone is rooted so if someone can guide me through fixing it.The problem with crash is mostly when i try to download app. Thanks in advance !
I suggest starting over by reflashing a stock ROM, flash TWRP, root, and then use titanium backup to freeze apps.
Hello on my OP5 after the latest update (OxygenOS 5.1.4) the Play Store installed apps list is empty. This renders the auto-update function unusable. When I look for an app and update and/or install it that particular app is shown but anything else is still missing.
I have TWRP and root with magisk.
I have tried rebooting, clearing caches, reverting to factory and updating "google play services" and some other suggestions I have found online. Nothing has worked so far.

Have you deleted your Google account off your device and set it up again? Is your playstore certified?

Yes I removed all google accounts, cleared data and cache, rebooted the phone, and reconfigured google account.
This had no effect. I am almost sure that playstore is original.
You can try with Titanium Backup Pro, it has an option to fix broken Market links.
