Hey guys.
I'm issuing a serious bootloop problem with my D802. I need help.
How things evolved, listen my story.
1- I was using Bliss ROM 6.4 , after a new update my cellular data connection lost. So I back to stock lollipop.
2- I back to D80230c with using LG G2 Stock Firmware (Go Back to Stock) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 method. I got a KDZ file and I flash it.
3- Then I used [TOOLS] One Click ROOT+TWRP Recovery for Lollipop Stock Firmware http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development-d802/tools-how-to-install-twrp-bump-d80230a-t3072186 to get root and TWRP.
4- Lastly, script broke on somewhere and my g2 stuck at bootloop.
- When I connect the phone to computer with usb cable, I am getting bootloop. [ LG logo keeps appearing in every 2 or 3 seconds. ] and it keep going.
- When I connect the phone to the charger with usb cable, I am still getting bootloop (lg logo thing) 5 or 6 times then I see Firmware update screen. Lastly, phone get stable and it holds firmware update screen as long as it charged.
-When I disconnected the phone from charger and connect to computer, it begin to restarting and bootloop continues.
Most importantly, my phone does not respond, if its not connected to computer or charger. I mean, it should connect to computer or charger with usb cable to respond hardware key commands. ( download mode, recovery mode, or hardware key control mode ) Btw hardware key control mode is korean language)
I tried LG PC Suite resolve update errors , I tried .tot and .dkz method for flashing rom. ( Device goes to bootloop when transferring data begin from computer.) These methods are failed for me. I did not try fastboot mode.
Maybe someone can help mw, I issuing this kind a problem in three years of android user.
Sorry my English :/

Hi all,
i have a problem, got a new Lg L7 P710, and i wanted to jailbreak/root etc. but i think i failed with it.
also i tried with KDZ updater, and installing LG modem and Lg Androidnet usb serial port (com6)/ and installed all those drivers needed. My SD card is still in the phone, but i can't see it in ''my Computer'' when my LG is plugged into mine laptop.. also the rooting part its failing.. btw my yellow screen for emergency is not normal, its kinda with stripes, and i can't see the ''emergency' 'word on the phone when it is yellow, sometimes it goes blue screen with stripes...
i don't think its a hardware problem, but i accidently deleted everything also in SD card, and in the phone self, its just like a Stock peg...and also i lost my warranty in 3 weeks -_-'', i can't do anything, only plugg it in mine laptop, and i hear a noise sometimes, dat it is plugged in, but only in ''Device manager'' I also read some other forums, with bricked or unbricked, or ADB ( also tried with this and CMD) but didnot recognise mine phone... as you can see, my phone is connected to mine laptop ( see pictures)
any solutions/help please? :crying:

Requirements::
• A Windows Based PC

How to Unbrick / Return LG Optimus L7 Back to Stock Steps:

3. Download KDZ_FW_UPDATE.zip and extract it,then open the folder where you extracted it and Start KDZ_FW_UPDATE_EN with Administrator Rights (Right Click on file and select Run As Administrator)
4. Once the program started, in Type select 3GQCT and in Phone Mode select EMERGENCY, then in KDZ File select the downloaded firmware and press open.
5. Make Sure your Phone is connected to the computer in EMERGENCY MODE( Remove the battery from the phone, then while pressing Vol- Connect the usb to the computer,a yellow screen must come up showing EMERGENCY)
6. Once you’ve done this, press Launch Software Update and let it work, the procedure takes about 5-10 Minutes,so don’t worry.
7. At the end of the procedure the phone will reboot and an LG Animated Logo will come up,and after some minutes KDZ_FW_UPDATE Will say you that there has been an error, don’t panic.
8. Congratulations.

Hello,
I've looked for solutions everywhere and have spent the last days trying to fix my phone but i can't find a solution. Here is my problem:
I bought a second hand phone, it was working fine however it had been rooted and was running on Cyanogen.
I therefore tried to revert this to a stock EU ROM I downloaded. I was able to do this through the LGMobile Support Tool.
However when the process completed, my phone was stuck in a reboot loop on the LG logo. So I went back to the LGMobile Support Tool and selected 'Upgrade Recovery'.
After completing this, my phone was still stuck on the loop, but now I'm unable to access download mode, or recovery mode.
My phone is detected in device manager as LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (COM4) and LGE AndroidNet USB Modem when plugged in.
I don't know what to do? Please help.
This is now resolved thanks to bender_007

Try wiping through stock recovery mode (hold volume down and power, wait for lg logo then hold volume up and volume down-without power button)

Hello everybody
I recently tried to higher the maximum headphone volume of my rooted LG G2 D802 on stock KitKat. In order to a guide I changed some values in the mixer_paths.xml in /systems/etc/ via ES File Explorer. After that, I restarted the phone which results in a bootloop - the LG boot animation never ends. I already found out that there is a high probability that the mixer_paths.xml is currupted due to wrong codings/line breaks or something.
Sadly, I neither can start the stock recovery (no custom recovery installed) by holding Power+Volume down nor go into download mode by volume up+putting usb cable in. In both cases it just happens nothing. When I connect it via USB to a PC, Windows recognizes a energy load only device. I tried different USB drivers/ports and PCs. There is no entry in the device manager and no new drives in the disk management utility.
I found hundreds of posts and comments where people coplaining that they can't go into download/recovery mode, even with apart from that fully working LG G2s. Therefore I'm not even sure, if both problems - the bootloop and not working download/recovery modes - are connected.
Is there any chance to get my G2 working again? I love it and don't want to buy a new phone.
I would be very thankful for everyone who can help me!
Hello guys!
Unfortunately I have managed to full brick my phone which has worked without any issues for more then 3 years.
My story:
1. Phone started to have random restarts, basicaly, when phone lagged little bit - it restarted phone.
2. When I did manual restart, I got into bootloop and could not get out
3. With a heavy heart I did a factory reset. - Problem with random restarts ontinued together with random bootloops.
4. Did maybe 5 more factory resets, nothing happened.
5. Found a tutorial to flash new firmware.I was on 5.0.2 D802 30d so I used same. (PC suite could not find my phone and LG support tool always freezed on SW install)
6. I used LG Flash tool with normal flash. - used *.kdz which I have downloaded via LG support tool - checked size with dl from source from xda and they were same so i used it.)
7. All success, but device keep restarting - i think no bootloop anymore.
8. I did full flash again with LG flash tool so have a clean install and hopefully fix everything.
9. Suddenly mid-install my phone auto-disconnected from laptop and even with Retry attemps I wasnt able to get it running again. Then my phone restarted itself and that was it.
Now I cannot go to recovery mode, I cannot go to Download mode, all I see is black screen (turns some light on little bit underneath but no data visible).
Also when connect to my Windows 10 laptop multiple discs trying to load and trying to format disk. (one of them contains folder image with some files inside).
I dont have root, I dont have any other tools installed on my phone, just a normal user.
I tried to download adb but i dont understand it much, and also it cannot find my device.
Is there any way how to still fix my phone or is it completely lost
If so, I please you for a dummies step-by-step list .
Thank you so much in advance. :crying:
So good news,
I managed to load img back with dd application.
My Download mode together with factory reset is working.
I have tried to flash it with LGUP and even with some accused usb disconnections I probably managed to flash new lollipop to my phone.
Now it is optimalizing apps to load android correctly. Only issue I have is low battery, it always drains it too quickly so it cannot load properly.
Any idea how to charge the battery? Every time I connect phone with usb cable it starts up into boot, possible bootloop (cannot say if it is because of low battery or real bootloop)
Thanks
Dude try to install crdroid 7.1.2 nougat rom of d802 this will fix your battery problem
root it and install TWRP with srktools 2.0
this is best way to root G2 5.0.1 lolipop
you can also use LG One Click Root to obtain root then don't update su binary and install Autorec of you model to get twrp
