How To Make Your Own Custom ROM In Your Mobile - Galaxy S3 Neo Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I found this useful thread here on XDA.
By following these methods described in the thread you can create your own TW based custom Rom.
But try it if you know how to mess around with your mobile and have the knowledge about editing mobile system files and other stuff.
Do it at your own risk. Don't blame me or the original Dev for anything.

Samsung I780 - How to make your custom ROM

I found xda developers a couple of weeks ago and I find it very interesting. I own a I780 and I wanted (still want) to make my own custom ROM with some applications that I love in it. And I've searched xda forums for tutorials and I found planty of them but I've lost myself in 4 kitchens, about 3 testing folders with about 2 xip porting folders, 2 i780 tools folder, a dump folder, and many hours spent in this site just to create my custom ROM but I didn't make it because there are a lot of tutorials, kitchens, tools but none of them can teach a newbie like me from scratch how to create your ROM by adding programs in it. So I'm begging you all that senior members, ROM chefs like ervius, weldeh, EFN, please make a full tutorial and attach all the files needed to create my own (and I'm sure there will be others) I780 ROM.
If I ask to much just kick me out .
I have the courage to thank you all in advance
Everyone is interested
It seems that all chefs are busy with other stuff and they want to keep all the knowledge to themselves. MONOPOLY

Custom ROMs on AVD

Hi,
Is there a way of getting custom ROMs on the the AVD?
I see that its partially possible using the ROM from HTC (as shown here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4232807&postcount=9), but I want to create my own using builds from http://developer.htc.com/index.html or some of the ROMs provided here.
This will help me try and develop come code as currently the Android SDK's are missing parts like the Maps applications etc.
Thanks.
Not to worry, found it finally!

[Q] Help needed how do you start building android roms?

I have done a lot of work in building windows mobile roms. I now want to start building android roms as well, but am completly new to this.
I assume like windows rom you will need some sort of kitchen, a base rom etc. I do not know where to begin.
Can any body give me pointers. Eg were to download the compilers and were to get the base roms?
I have seen some sites out there to download the base roms but they seem to need a username and password to access the sites.
Any help would be appreciated. I have tried searching through the guides available but not really any futher on.
