music player + taking photos = not possible..??

Hi all...
1st off, a very loud and honorable thanks to all programmers in here, appreciate the work and effort you guys put into the world of programming and exploring the horizons of logical thinking with binary numbers and so on... kudos..
Now to my 'issue'... I dont know if others here in the forum have had the same problem, but when i listen to music, I cant take photos at the same time... it turns off the music player (the built in normal music player) when I push for taking the photo from something.. dont know why this happens... does anyone know of any .cabs to fix this..? would be nice if someone could try to solve this problem...
I think the reason it turns off the music player might be because the phone struggles to run both at once - the camera app lags if you've got anything else taking up processor time.
You can play music in CorePlayer and still use the camera app though, but there is some lag involved.
HTC never put any effort into driver development to take advantage of the graphics chip. That's why the camera is so slow to begin with. All the processing is done by the processor itself which is why everything else cuts out when you use the camera. It's to allow the device to allocate resources to the camera application.
yeah, still alot HTC needs to do wit the touch HD.. think it still has alot to learn..
Guys,
Well, I know this is totally out there, but perhaps it's also to prevent people from masking the shutter sound?
Cheers.

Music stops when starting camera

Hello,
I got my HD2 one week ago and it is really fantastic. But today I was listening to some music. Then I wanted to take a picture with the camera. When I started the camera, the music stopped immediately.
There are any tweaks or ideas like to fix that problem? I mean, this makes no sense, to stop playing music if I want to take a picture.
Thanks for help.
Wolfgang
this is to reduce battery consumption and to never interface shutter sound with music
Is it possible to customize that?

*Bump*
I don't want to reduce battery, I want to listen music and take a photo.
I have the shutter sound disabled.
Is there any news about this problem yet? I couldn't find a registry tweak myself.
Any input is welcome!
another possible reason why the music shuts off is in case you switch to camcorder mode. the camcorder will record video (with sound) and so that might be another reason to disable music playback so the sound in your video is recorded loud and clear.
don't know if a tweak exists to control this behavior though...

Yes I understand that, but I can do that manually if I want to use the camcorder...
But I use the photo mode a lot more.
I can't find the tweak myself, on the forum search and also not in "Reload this Page [REF] *Leo Hints, Tips and Registry Tweaks* - Updated 13th July 2010."...
So any input is still welcome!

[Q] Music Player - Landscape/Disc view

Hello!
I'm a new user of and my english isnt so good..sorry for it.. : >
I've got some trouble with the music player and maybe u can help..
Is it ok that my samsung galaxy s music player don't switch to the "Disc view" when I rotate the phone in landscape mode?
The music player rotate too but no way to see the Disc View ..i need to go to the settings an tap on "Go to Disc View" to activate it...
i saw a lot of youtube video where i can see the automatic switching of the Disc View when turning the phone in landscape mode...
why my sgs dont do it?
ivan
Mine used to do the CD view automatically, but since I flashed to JM2 it does not do it any longer, like you I have to switch manually, but it does not really bother me TBH so I haven't investigated it any further.
same here...i've got that firmware so probably it's a "problem" of the JM2....
thanks for ur answer
another question:
do u know a good music player widget? thanks

[Q] Sound Recognition

I need to make an Android app that can recognize certain sound files created by me, and do an action on recognition. So something similar to Shazam/Soundhound, but with my own sound files. Is there any API or SDK or something for this? I've been reading about Echoprint and Gracenote, but I still can't figure out how to do it. Can anyone provide any help, info, examples?
PS: To make it clear, i don't want voice recognition, or text-to-speech. My sound files can have music, distorted voice, effects etc. What I want is done with audio fingerprinting
PPS: the exact same thing was done in the Star Trek Into Darkness app, where you put your phone to listen to a trailer, and it does something on recognition

[Q] Good app for browsing music?

Hi,
First, not sure this is the right place to post this, if not sorry !
I just got my LG G Watch R (and I love it !), but something is bothering me, I've seen some apps to control the music player, but nothing really great.
For example the stock app, when screen is "off" (not actually off, you know what I mean), you have to wake the screen, slide to the left and then you have the buttons to change the volume. Same thing to skip a song.
I'd like something more customizable, because I took a face for the watch where the time is displayed on the top of the scree so I have space not used, I could have a next song button, etc.
One other thing is the lack of possibility to browse through artists or albums, why ? I mean I get there's not much space, but with some thinking we could have a way to scroll through everything. In the end I have to use my phone everytime I want to listen to another artist.
So If anyone knows an android wear apps that at least browse through artist that would be nice,
and if they're none, I guess I'll just develop it myself !
Thanks.
Edit : After some digging on stack, it seems like this music card can't be removed, so I guess what I wanted to do is impossible.
If you're willing to use a totally separate app, stelio music player has the option to not trigger the default notification and it's own notification can be hidden like any other. You can also select music from the library with it, though when you select an artist it shows all songs by artist instead of artist > album > song. I've made the suggestion to add that and the dev has said he's working on it so hopefully that gets added soon. For some reason the app is not currently on the play store but the website is stellio.ru if you want to check it out.
Oh and I almost forgot but there is a plugin for poweramp that allows for browsing the library on the watch called Poweramp Remote that will allow you to browse but it does not get rid of the stock card. I know you're looking for a watch face but those two at least allow you to browse the library.
