Soft bricked n900

I'm not sure which version of the Note 3 I have. I know for sure its the n900 but not which country it's from I used Odin to try get it back to stock but its stuck on "firmware upgrade encountered an issue..". I also tried samsung kies but that didn't work either, How do I revive this?
Edit: I just figured out I could enter "download mode" so what can I do?
Well I managed to fix this. I'm just posting an update to help anyone who ran into the same problem.
-I just went to the samsung site > went through the firmware one by one > flashed via odin.
-I ended up getting android kitkat while my phone was rooted so that's pretty cool.
-the app that stuffed up my phone (even after following all the instructions) SoftKey Enabler. It even happened to someone else...next time I'll read the reviews lol.

[Q] bricked At&t S4, having issues with Kies's Emerg

I am trying to recover my bro -in law's phone who bricked his phone during an OTA update. I don't know what happened. I have followed several of the how to's here but i ran into the error updating Firmware shown in a black box.
I have an AT&T Galaxy S4.
I have been trying using kies, going to "tools", then "Firmware Upgrade and Initialization." and followed the instructions and agree to everything.
It continues to download the Firmware which takes about 30 minutes then it changes screen and looks to begin the download to the phone
but right away has an error "failed to upgrade due to unexpected error, do you want too run emergency recovery now? And wants a recovery code.
That's as far as I get, I'm exhausted in my ability to fix this. Can anyone help?

S6 Edge (SM-G295I) Bricked

Hello, I have a galaxy s6 edge (SM-G925I) and when a friend gave me the phone you could enter to the OS with the issue that there was no IMEI registered. So I said let me check it out. So when i checked i've noted that if I started in download mode, i would get binary and system as custom, so I downloaded stock rom from samm G925I_G925IDVU1AOD1_G925IXSA1AOD1_XSA because another friend has the same phone from the same company and that is the firmware he has. So l tried using Kies 3 and Smart Switch the recovery with no solution. When download finished... I tried to install using odin 3.10.6 and fail everytime, and when i turn on the phone its stucked in the Samsung logo.
Any idea to save it?
Thanks in advance:cyclops:

You can't use Kies you have to use Odin to get it back to stock.

Alternative fix for a bricked device

I have a SM-T230NU and I had used Kies to check for an update since I am rooted. When I did that about a month ago the Kies program had an error saying that there was an error and needed me to select the emergency recovery download . I called Samsung to troubleshoot the issue and they told me that I have to send it in to get it fixed even though Kies caused the problem . I was told at that time that if I had modified the device in anyway that the warranty would be voided and I would have to pay for the repairs myself. I don't have the money right now to pay them so I never sent it in to them. I instead started to fix it myself. IThe was basically stuck in ODIN mode and placed into that mode by Kies . It was bricked . I did the following to fix it, first I used ODIN v3.09 and flashed the TWRP recovery image to the tablet and that unfroze the tablet from being stuck in ODIN mode. I then used Kies to restore the tablet to factory defaults and it worked but it wasn't the latest version of Kies it was the previous version. The latest version of Kies caused the problem in the first place . I have since then re rooted my device and it works as expected. I have not seen anything like this particular way to fix the problem I was having with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (SM-T230NU). Every other solution that I found on this site and other sites didn't resolve my problem , so I came up with my own and that's why I am sharing it in the hopes that someone else will benefit from this solution.

[URGENT!] How do i get out of this situation with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge i have?

First I rooted my phone a couple days ago and I came upon this problem with the my phone when I decided i didn't want to have it rooted anymore so... i tried to unroot the Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge using odin3 and when i did. The bar said it failed. Next I shut it down by using the power button and i saw a blue screen saying "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software.". Then i went to install Smart Switch PC software and when i got to the part where you had to press okay after putting the serial number and model number in. The program would always crash and it didn't leave any error message. I then tried Samsung Keis but that didn't work as well. I got an error message saying "Please check the model name and enter it". So now i am stuck with the blue screen. Any solutions in which i can solve this please?

Since you are in a rush, have you tried to Odin flash the Samsung Official stock S7 / S7 Edge firmware yet?
That would be the fastest and surest way to get your phone up and running properly in less than 20 minutes.
Trying to get your phone up and running properly any other way would take a lot longer and most likely you
would end up odin flashing the official stock firmware in any case.
You can find the proper official stock firmware for your phone's model at http://sammobile.com or
you can download the stock official firmware from this fast direct download link: http://tinyurl.com/ht62lko
Good luck, have a great day!
When Smart Switch or Kies ask for the model number, always make sure you enter 'SM-' before the model Eg, SM-G935F

I've found myself in the above situation when messing with CSCs, the fastest solution is to keep an Odin package always on hand ready to flash whenever you screw up, I've never trusted the sketchy Samsung software.
