First you need to downgrade. You can do this by flashing this (http://consumer.huawei.com/nz/support/products/downloads/detail/huawei-p8lite-nz.htm?id=81666) file via sdcard. Then download this (https://goo.gl/zUPd1A) file. It has two folder. dload and dload2. First put dload folder in sdcard and upgrade. Then put second folder "dload2" rename it to dload and upgrade.
After this you may upgrade to B574.

I have Android 6.0 !!
And the second link goes to a pfd toolkit download, no dload
OK, i understand. It was an Rollback to Version 5 and after this i can upgrade to Version 6. Right? Now i had B170 installed, and then? There were only one dload folder in ervery downlod , correct? Also i have no "vendor package UPDATE.APP" which i can use.
But where get i the B574 für Marshmallow Upgrade?

Do you have this option?

Yes. You can convert single sim into dual sim. I personally don't know the method. But I know there is a thread this.
Thanks, first i hope that i downgrade correctly, and after that i'll update with the versions we talk about. If there i get a DUAL-SIM phone it will be fine. But a SINGLE-SIM were also right. I'll be happy if i got a fine Build Version and can update in future.
Was it needed to workreset after every update ?
Also i doesn't know should i use the update.zip files into the dload folder or should i extract it before.
Hi, i'm be happy to 50% behause my build-version was now ALE-L21C900B500 and i can use the Dual-Sim-Button, yeahh i've now Dual-SIM. Tho phone works correctly and the security-version was "Mai 2016" and Android 6.0 .
Yesterday i try to update to B564-update-OTA version, but it doesn't work, it break shortly after the EMUI-Update-process. Must i update First on an other Version?
Was it strictly to use the update.zip file into the dload folder or only the update.app from the extracted zip-file ? At second step do i need a vendor file?
I also not know use the huawei extractor or an winzip tool?
Is there a way to come to B574 ?
Best regards
Chris

I have just bought a Huawei P8 Lite Dual Sim (Build number: ALE-L21C432B210) and I've been trying to update it to Android 6 using the files provided on huawei's site. The problem is that every time I try I get an error screen that says Software Install Failed and it gives me a link to huawei's site (This link in particular: emui.com/emotiondownload.php?mod=restore [sorry I cant post any links yet]) I'm getting kinda desperate since I don't know if it's my build number or what (searching for it gave no results) and every guide I've found doesn't mention my B210 device. I am stuck on Huawei's terrible skin of 5.0.1 (EMUI 3.1). Please someone help me.

Let's take this from the start: I was on B204 (Lollipop). I was instructed to go to B170 and then update to B560.
Trying to go to B170 got me a "Software install failed" message, presumably because I had a greater version. So I downloaded the file for B560, crossed my fingers and did local update through settings. It worked. I was finally on Marshmallow. After that, the phone did an OTA to B574.
I'm not responsible if anything goes wrong, but I'm fairly confident what I did should work here. Good luck

Yes i have. So after downloading may different firmwares, i understand that solution and its work.
You get error "Software install failed" because huawei say to you that they dont have an update that supports my build precisely ALE-L21C432B210.
When you wipe all through twrp and put desirous firmware in your sd card and go to installation screen through combination of key vol up and down with power key, you can install whatever version you want,
because are you working clean install through huawei update screen, not an update.
I hope I have explained a little.
I made a mistake that I installed version for single sim and not for dual sim. But it when I get some time, but regardless of that, everything works just fine, and with mm 6 a got about 4:30-5h OST

It does not work for me, I must be bad.
Firmware finder tells me ota l31c432b336 00mb.
............. b335 00mb.
I think that is not free in France for the moment. I have to wait update ota beta-test for that to work.
I think for ota beta-release releases (c185b331 ......), it must work

It's better to wait until you get it from the OTA updater, not from FF proxy. At least if you don't wanna brick your phone

Sorry if I do not understand what you are asking. But I understand you have ota b370 and you have now written nrd90m and you are missing some applications.
So now I hate that Dload the file update.app of the second file should go.
It does 128.MO and in it i see cust.img (120.54MB).
I have rc4 with root browser, I see cust, HW, eu, app, there is everything you miss.
So I was thinking that maybe you should be dload update.app from second file hwdatafull. that's all.
hwdatafull c432b370 with bootloader lock.

Hi, i just get the update today and it was 1,99GB big. I think you have to leave enough space, 4,5GB minimum for the upgrade. It seems there are two Update Packages. Maybe if there is not enough space, the updater just take only one package.

C900 usually means you do not have a oeminfo flashed or the wrong one.. were you able to log in to your Google account on that build?

Did you ever try to debrand your phone?
Anyway, try FirmwareFinder from the play store to find the firmware. Be careful which update you install, because you might install a broken one (that is what I and a lot of other people did though)

I had the same problem! I got it resolved with the rollback package you can download from Huawei site and then put the UPDATE.APP in the dload folder on your micro SD card. Press both volume up and down on your phone and it will install the package. Now you can OTA update to nougat. Make sure to install the full update (1.99GB)

It might work.. it's one of the many things I tried.. if it doesn't work, download a stock update package and try the dload method..
