I use this device with my private and work sim, but i want to use a different ringtone for my work sim. There is no option in the OS, but the 3 apps i used in the playstore won't work either.
Has anyone find a solution for this?
So far I couldn't find anything for this. We can't do anything unless we use Custom ROM

I was wondering, can I put a code on my contacts and my messages?
I just dont like it when people are playing with my phone, how easy it is for them through my contacts and messages.
Never had this problem with previous phones (well it isn't a REAL problem, just a hindrance), cause there you had to go through at least 2 or 3 clicks to see them.
Anyone know any software I can install for this? Or how I can enable it?
Im running the stock rom btw, should it matter...
Put the main pin code in Settings & Lock or...
...don't give other people your phone!
I've never heard of something which locks just the items you mention, sort of goes against the point of an easy to use, easy to access phone UI.
I think I saw a Samsung phone which had it, everything was open on the phone, just the text messages required a pin. I saw it and loved it.
And its mainly now that I have a new phone that everyone wants to see it and use it, and I don't want to be prick and say no =)
As for a main PIN, I do have that.

yes samsungs (well at least use to) enable you to set codes for individual programs. eg texts, pictures, videos etc etc. not seen another phone that does that though. tbh its good with have a lock code at all as alot of phones dont even have that!
best thing to do is turn touch flow off so its just the windows today screen, then they have to scroll trough your programs etc to get to contacts/msgs
I searched high and low on xda and on google for a solution to this and couldn't find anything.
Has anyone else noticed that anycut and bettercut no longer work with the newest EVO update? I've been trying to create shortcuts and it will say Shortcut Created even though nothing was really created. Either that or it won't say anything at all.
Is there any other solution to creating your own icons on your phone? This was one of my favorite features and it pains me that it's gone because I'm developing my own phone icon set and I kind of NEED to have that ability to test how they look on the phone...

I've tried one of the Market Enablers (the one that fakes a different provider) but not the one that enables paid apps (I think the one I need) as it wouldn't seem to install...

I've used a lot of different roms already and i recognized that the market doesnt list all apps since theres a device filter. Is there any way to emulate another device ? For example a desire hd so i have access to all apps? I also used apps to emulate my carrier etc. but that didnt change anything
Are there any apps that you are specifically looking for. I have experienced this same problem with only certain apps being shown because of certain devices. On the other hand, The Android market seams to be removing a lot of apps that are technically Illegal like most of the MP3 music apps. My phone is currently listed as the Sensation and I am still having trouble finding certain apps!!

try to edit the name of ur phone in build.prb maybe it will help
noticed this gprs widget today. Don't remember ever installing anything like this. When I choose it, it doesn't do anything. Looked around in the apps and running processes and didn't see anything that seemed to be tied to it.
Anyone know what it is? Having weird stuff pop up that I can't idenify is not something I want on my phone
Never heard of it but a quick Google search said it is something to do with mobile data services...
Try using a file explorer and searching for its name to see if/where its at on your phone or memory card
