How to access build.prop without root? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

There is an app called Spare Parts Plus (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.droidgram.spareparts) through which we can get access to some hidden system files of android phones including build.prop file via ADB access. But that app only works on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) as of now.
Is there any app that can be used to tweak the build.prop file of S7 edge?
Any help is much appreciated.

[Q] why are some apps developed to need root access?

guys, I'm very new to android app development. just made a few very basic apps
A friend asked me about a firewall I'm using, if she can use one on her phone, she's on a samsung galaxy pocket running gingerbread. and I found out there are no firewall apps for her phone that doesn't need root access. but on my nexus 4 (stock JB 4.3) and a indian rebranded device (stock JB 4.2) there are many firewall apps that don't need root access. so it made me think if they could make and app that doesn't need root access for a certain function. why would they create apps that do? what exactly is the difference between creating and app without root access and one that has?
Apps with root access can change and edit the preinstalled system files of your mobile.but without root it is not possible.the apps running on your device are not compatible on gingerbread because app uses the new framework which is not present in gingerbread.otherwise there is no difference .galaxy pocket running 4+ will be able to run those apps

[Q] Can I delwte bloat myself when rooted?

I have done a lot of reading trying to learn the rooting world.
One thing is unclear to me, once rooted can I delete bloat ware apps as I please? I know many roms delete the bloat but if I stayed on the stock rom can I delete apps that I am not able to delete unrooted? If so, is there a guide for how to do so? Thanks.

Not without a helper app like Titanium Backup ROOT. And I would strongly suggest you backup everything first, just in case you delete a program that you really need.

I use root explorer and just delete the apk's manually. Works the same I would guess.

Or you can manually rename them.

I use Root Explorer and copy the apps that I'm deleting (over 100) to my computer then delete them from the system.

A way to dual boot S7 Edge to run Good for Enterprise?

Here's my situation. I have a stock rooted S7 Edge but I need to use Good for Enterprise and my employer does not allow root on their Good policy. I have toyed with trying to hide it but it doesn't seem that there is a reliable way. My only option appears to be to load another stock rom via dual boot and to run good from that.
Does anyone know if this is possible - I have searched a lot.
Also does anyone know if there's a reliable way to hide root from Good. That would really save me some hassle.
Well im not if it will work but look for old gfe version that support the xposed module that hide root from gfe. There is a thread here in xda on this.

I work IT for a company that uses the new Good Work. I have tried for weeks and lost tons of sleep trying to get that crap to work. I couldn't crack it on my jailbroken iPhone and now the same for this. If you find out a way please let me know...
There may be a way to Dual boot, But it depends if the Dev adds support for our S7.
I used this on my other Galaxy series including the Note 3.

use hide my root mods and apps (especially Xposed Versions)....no app can find you are root...google it
i'm using RootCloak
I'm in a similar boat. My corporation uses Outlook 365 and an app from Microsoft called Company Portal. This app scans for root and other alterations of the system.
I'm also using RootCloak and systemless root and xposed which keeps the Company Portal app happy.
Another option that has worked for me was using systemless root and renaming the "su" binary to something else (and also uninstalling the SuperSu apk). This allows root access from the adb for things like debloating but doesn't allow root apps to work so it's more limiting.

Sony apps cannot installed on Galaxy S7 edge

I just turned from Sony to Samsung S7 edge, but I really love Sony media apps, so I downloaded the latest versions of
(Album V.7.8.A.0.8), (Music V.9.1.12.A.0.1), (Xperis Keyboard V.7.3.A.0.28) APKs and tried to install it but it couldn't.
anyone have any idea to install them without root
Search XDA for the file SonyPlayStoreDuel and flash it ....then Sony apps are now yours. Give the Dev proper creds.

You tried them?
I don't want to root my s7 edge, so Is there a way to install these apps without the need of root or recovery?
