I haven't tried it myself but if I am not wrong J7(6) uses a 64-bit processor? If yes flash this It will work
Succefully rooted, thanks for the video.
Btw the architecture is arm not arm64, Xposed works fine.
Has anyone tried backing up with twrp? Can they tell me if it worked? I'm not going to risk rooting unless I can backup efs.

hi guys, i just rooted my j710gn using this method. my wifi not seems to take longer time to switch on/off. also, it will not auto connect to my home wifi and keep asking for password. any advice? thanks.
ps - is it something to do with this file? (samsung-sm-j710f-6.0.1-nodmv.tar). can i odin flash back the stock (boot.img) file?
solved - i modded these two files (build.prop & platform.xml). now the wifi behaves normally. just updating.
biuld.prop -------->> amended this line to this: ro.securestorage.support=false
platform.xml ------>> added this line (not related to WIFI) :

pilou360, gtn7105 = Galaxy Note II 4G GT-N7105. I made the same mistake.
I can't find the CF-Auto-Root tool for the SM-G7105. It's consistent with the SM-G7102 only.
If anyone can make one, I'm interested as well as a CMW or a TWRP recovery.

Check your device model, Go To Setting > About and Make sure that it is SM-G7102.
Do-not try it on Galaxy Grand 2 SM-G7105.

You deleted the Getvar and GTP.bin line for flash it?

extract it and put its files in the same folder as the rom files. them just run "Instalador.bat".
How it's going? I'm still downloading it. Does this update lock the bootloader?
bootloader will update if you are coming from 4.4 , and no it wont get locked.

I'm trying to stream video through Amazon prime but I keep getting a "Decryption failure" error every time. I've read somewhere that it's because Amazon thinks I'm abroad. I'm in the USA using a G935F (exynos) and running SuperStock rom. Thanks for any help fixing this!

I am in the exact same situation. G930F and the same error. I recall it was working before, not sure when it starts like this. I've trying all different ROMs and wipe/reinstall Amazon Prime Video App.

I had the same problem. Just use an older version then it should work again. Enjoy
Just a guess in the blue but Amazon Prime uses Widevine which requires SafetyNet which requires certified devices which requires unmodified system (or Magisk).
I have the same problem which started only a few days ago. Tried everything nothing works. S7 edge with superman rom and magisk is ok saftynet is green has nothing to do with that! Where the hell can i get an older Version?

It is really depending on the latest Amazon Prime Video Version! Running perfectly again with older ones!

System should be r/w if u hav granted superuser access to which ever root file explorer app ur using, im using root browser classic

I auto respond, it does not work with RR, it enters botloop. But delete the MIUI folder and all the files in the update firmware folder, except for the non-hlos.bin And now if I let in, and I change the baseband. Now to prove that! Thanks again.

Nothing is wrong, it's just an incomplete comment from the update script.

Like I said it has nothing to do with anything, it's just a message. You can edit that file from /META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script and write your name or anything else and it will effect absolutely nothing. You can check your baseband number if you want to be sure about that.

I just though "Well damn, I don't feel like having to fix that every time, how do I fix the name?".
On the other hand, this is the first time and I don't think this happened recently. So I'll drop it.
Deleted lines, flashed it, and phone didn't brick.

You don't have to use it on those ROMs since they have the firmware.
