Hello everyone, the upgrade to Marshmallow have disabled this option but I bring a tutorial to activate it.
You need unlock bootloader and root
For this we need go to /cust/hw/eu/prop or to /data/cust/prop, open the file local.prop and browse the line "ro.config.hw.hideNetworkSpeed=true and change to false, save it and reboot.
Then go to settings/notifications panel and status bar, and you have the option to activate it.

So when I do *#*#4636#*#* in my phone, I set the preferred network type to LTE/GSM/CDMA auto so I can call people, but then my phone automatically sets it back to LTE only after some time. How can I fix this?

Setting/option in question:
Hi, guys. I know that Verizon isn't fully compatible with the OnePlus 5, but it works fairly enough for voice, text, and 3G.
Has anyone who also uses Verizon on this phone figured out a way to change the name "31000" in the lock screen to anything? I was able to rename it on SIM & network settings to "Verizon Wireless" but it did not affect what says on the lock screen.
Thanks in advance.

I guess it should have been a problem with the access point...
