60fps fullHD video in CM13 - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys! I'm new to GS5 and it is amazing phone.
I'm wondering if you are able to capture 60 fps in CM13 or not, there is an option, but it doesn't work for me. I have set fullHD and 60 fps, but after I watch video in MX player I see that the video is only 30fps.
Thanks for replies in advance.

you can't expect that a non-stock rom do the same as a stock one. hardware communication will never be 100% compatible.

Well, the front camera seems to record at 25 fps in 720p.
Don't know about the back camera.

The rear-facing 13MP camera on the S4 phone captures video in 1080p at 30 frames per second.

[Q] YouTube 60fps problems

Hi I have a galaxy s5 g900f and on YouTube, if the video is 720p or 1080p the video will work just fine, however, when the video is 720p60fps or 1080p60fps it doesn't work on my phone. I have looked everywhere and got nowhere. I need help. Also if the video is at 60fps the max quality I can watch the video at is 480p. Tell me what kind of other information you need and I will try my best to provide it!

Record video in HD at 60 FPS

Hello!
¿I can record video in HD at 60FPS? (no slow motion)
I tried several apps, but not working.
Maybe editing the file build.prop ?
Thanks!
Actually frame rate in low-light conditions drops to 15 fps... So first we need to fix that
the sAOSP rom, can record at 120fps

here is the link to the post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-2/orig-development/rom-saosp-project-t3228656
and remember, the rom hasn't MIUI Camera
but try it
On stock MIUI and sMIUI
The camera says it records in slow motion, but we don't get a raw 120fps or whatever it runs at, it just downscales it to 30fps

Recording video in 24/25 fps

Hi, I shoot video with the stock camera app in 1080p 30fps HDR. Is there a way to force the app to record in 24/25 fps? Or is there any other app that records 1080p 24/25 fps HDR?
Why should you need 24 fps? These video are not converted from a 24 fps motion picture film, so there are no framing conversion problems that require a 1080p/24 video format.
25 fps: this is a PAL derived format, but all 1080p FullHD certified TV sets or monitors must accept both formats (30 and 25), and 30 is always better than 25...

Because I like the feel of 24 fps much better (if shot with 180 degree shutter, in this case 1/50). 30 fps looks kinda like a soap opera, but I really don't want to go into this, I know what I want, I just don't know if it's possible with the S7 Edge.
I've never seen a smartphone which is able to record 1080p/24 fps.
LG V10 does

I solved the issue by buying a proper video camera But you might try Filmic Pro.

YouTube app missing 60fps

First of all, i already had the 60fps option ONCE, when i was in AICP 6.0, so i know that it works in our phone, but i went to test all the other roms, there were no 60fps anymore, just 480p max.
720p and 1080p are available, but when it's a 60fps video, not regular 30fps, they dissapear. Am I the only one having this issue? Im good watching 480p, but when i know that my phone can easily handle 1080p60, it really bothers me. Can someone test this, please?
