About Project:
Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices, Cardinal is being built with Uber toolchain, with most of uber optimizations, with full Layers Support and with minimal customization, the main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. Awesome ROM super smooth. one quick issue though, for me whenever I try flashing a zip for the new nexus launcher (from TBO). I get FC's and "unfortunately stopped" messages. working on all other ROMs except this any ideas (no exposed and stock kernel banks gapps from Aug 27)

Substratum is simply not piracy-friendly. Just use layers instead. The newer versions of substratum checks the license of the theme and if you didnt purchased it, well, you cant apply the theme.
EDIT: Dunno if you can do something witch Lucky patcher, I don't use it

These things should be kept off forums esp the warez part..

No themer use now layers. All themers switched to substratum and i can use every theme without problem and dont need lucky patcher or other cracks. Look for other rom for now.

I Just want to try them. With an amoled, I've been searching a pitch black stock theme for ages. And not all themes are full Black. Some are dark grey, some even lighter. And they call them "dark".

Which Gapps?
Which gapps are you guys using, I tried ARM64, 7.1, (full, nano, aroma)
They all give the same issue on a fresh install
During the phone setup, says "Google play services has stopped"
It's just stuck on the "Just a second" screen
Am I using the wrong gapps? The rom loaded fine with a did a fresh install with no gapps.

We're not based off of CM but the only bug I saw when I tested it internally was QS settings crashed but we fixed the bug and it'll be in our next weekly on friday/saturday

Then why Facebook messenger calls dont work? They work fine on Tesla rom which is AOSP...
Edit: and when are we going to get nav buttons?

I think theres some stuff gant wait till next week like navbar ..i think its better to keep updating at least every few days till you fix the main bugs like navbar and QS settings

While I do understand your frustration with Facebook calls, telling us that it works on another ROM isn't gonna help us fix the issue. A proper logcat is needed. Unless you can get that then your post is deemed unnecessary and irrelevant to development. Were based on AOSP, just like my team member @TacoTuco stated. The basis of an app crash such as Facebook, differing between ROMs does not determine the status of its project. As for navbar customizations, if you take a look at our G+ community, linked in the OP, you'll noticed we addressed that its coming in the next update.
Btw, don't divide projects by base. Cyanogen did not write Android themselves. They're AOSP based just like the rest of us. The only difference is they generate support for CAF to make Android work on devices like yours.

Why do you start 7 ROMs, instead of dedicating the time of a single ROM, which you can do. . . best of the best ?

Tried to encrypt the phone. Starts but after 5 seconds it hot-reboots without any results. How can I fix this?

You have to delete "all", then the phone will start without problems.

Even after a clean flash?? I was using the enbedded encryption tool from within the android security settings

I do not know what to say.
I have never had problems with Orange Fox 9.
First I deleted all, then installed Rom, then GAPS, then Magisk, and I never had problems!

You misunderstood. I am using the rom, I want to encrypt from android, not decrypt from recovery.

Or l do not know how to write correctly in English, or you can not read correctly what I am writing.
I'm talking about installing a new ROM.
I'm not talking about installing from a backup or create one new backing up.
The steps you need to follow are placed on the front page of any thread.
Or, look for tutorials on YouTube.
I've seen tutorials on "How to install the remix of the resurrection."
There you see the steps and then install what other program you want. The steps are the same !
I saw your comment added yesterday to the installed program.
You have not succeeded!

You just didn't tackle my particular problem/question, for what reason so ever. I flashed the rom as described in OT - bearing the format in mind! What I was facing was the inability to encrypt the data partition from within the system (From security tab in settings), which might be due to some partition misconfiguration or whatever. I just had the same issue on AEX, so it seems to be, in fact, some recovery stuff. I read about missing unallocated space on the partition, but orangefox 8-10 weren't able to umount to resize. If some one has a hint to this I'd be grateful.

Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Clean-installed seems to be stable. I will report any bugs I will find.
1) For the future release consider not including gapps or at least include pico - bare minimum to use Google Playstore.
2) Is any possibility to see apps in the RAM/last launched on any other launcher than pre-installed Pixel launcher? I mean by clicking left button, but Nova and Evie does nothing at this time. Also in launcher options there is only way to edit action for home button - seems like problem with proper buttons macro in system?

I´m on recent version "AOSiP-10-DerpFest-Beta-santoni-20191103" and it feels very good :good:
The only issue after fresh installing I realised is not working FP. But this issue is through all Q roms.

@hallokitty Android Auto should be included in Android 10 without the need of a separate app, so the permission problem will probably not occur.

It was present the time i told you about it. It can record internal audio, but in the latest update i have reverted it due to some issues, will be fixed in next update soon.
